3 The sons of Judah: Er, Onan, and Shelah. These three were born to him from the daughter of Shua, the Canaanite. 14 the fourth Nethanel, the fifth Raddai,	14 quartum Nathanael, quintum Raddai,

18 Truly, Caleb, the son of Hezron, took a wife named Azubah, of whom he conceived Jerioth. And her sons were Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.	18 Chaleb vero filius Esrom genuit de uxore sua nomine Azuba, de qua nati sunt Ierioth, Ieser et Sobab et Ardon.
19 And when Azubah had died, Caleb took as wife Ephratha, who bore to him Hur.	19 Cumque mortua fuisset Azuba, accepit uxorem Chaleb Ephratha, quae peperit ei Hur.
20 Now Hur conceived Uri. And Uri conceived Bezalel.	20 Porro Hur genuit Uri, et Uri genuit Beseleel.
21 And afterwards, Hezron entered to the daughter of Machir, father of Gilead. And he took her when he was sixty years old. And she bore to him Segub.	21 Post haec ingressus est Esrom ad filiam Machir patris Galaad et accepit eam, cum ipse esset annorum sexaginta; quae peperit ei Segub.
22 And then Segub conceived Jair, and he possessed twenty-three cities in the land of Gilead.	22 Sed et Segub genuit Iair, qui possedit viginti tres civitates in terra Galaad.
23 And he seized Geshur and Aram, towns of Jair, and Kenath and its villages, sixty cities. All these were sons of Machir, father of Gilead.	23 Cepitque Gesur et Aram oppida Iair ipsis et Canath et viculos eius sexaginta civitates. Omnes isti filii Machir patris Galaad.
24 Then, when Hezron had died, Caleb entered to Ephratha. Also, Hezron had as wife Abia, who bore to him Ashhur, the father of Tekoa.	24 Cum autem mortuus esset Esrom, ingressus est Chaleb ad Ephratha uxorem Esrom patris sui. Habuit quoque Esrom uxorem Abia, quae peperit ei Ashur patrem Thecue.
25 Now sons were born to Jerahmeel, the firstborn of Hezron: Ram, his firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.	25 Nati sunt autem filii Ierameel primogeniti Esrom: Ram primogenitus eius et Buna et Aran et Asom et Ahia.
26 Jerahmeel also married another wife, named Atarah, who was the mother of Onam.	26 Duxit quoque uxorem alteram Ierameel nomine Atara, quae fuit mater Onam.
27 Then too, the sons of Ram, the firstborn of Jerahmeel, were Maaz, Jamin, and Eker.	27 Sed et filii Ram primogeniti Ierameel fuerunt: Moos et Iamin et Acar.
28 And Onam had sons: Shammai and Jada. And the sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.	28 Onam autem habuit filios: Sammai et Iada. Filii autem Sammai: Nadab et Abisur.
29 Truly, the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, who bore to him Ahban and Molid.	29 Nomen vero uxoris Abisur Abiail, quae peperit ei Ahobban et Molid.
30 Now the sons of Nadab were Seled and Appaim. And Seled died without children.	30 Filii autem Nadab fuerunt Saled et Apphaim; mortuus est autem Saled absque liberis.
31 Truly, the son of Appaim was Ishi. And Ishi conceived Sheshan. Then Sheshan conceived Ahlai.	31 Filius vero Apphaim: Iesi, qui Iesi genuit Sesan; porro Sesan genuit Oholai.
32 But the sons of Jada, the brother of Shammai, were Jether and Jonathan. Then Jether also died without children.	32 Filii autem Iada fratris Semmei: Iether et Ionathan; sed et Iether mortuus est absque liberis.
33 And Jonathan conceived Peleth and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.	33 Porro Ionathan genuit Phaleth et Ziza. Isti fuerunt filii Ierameel.
34 Now Sheshan did not have sons, but only daughters, and an Egyptian servant named Jarha.	34 Sesan autem non habuit filios sed filias et servum Aegyptium nomine Ieraa;
35 And so he gave to him his daughter as wife, who bore to him Attai.	35 deditque ei filiam suam uxorem, quae peperit ei Eththei.
36 Then Attai conceived Nathan, and Nathan conceived Zabad.	36 Eththei autem genuit Nathan, et Nathan genuit Zabad;
37 Also, Zabad conceived Ephlal, and Ephlal conceived Obed.	37 Zabad quoque genuit Ophlal, et Ophlal genuit Obed.
38 Obed conceived Jehu; Jehu conceived Azariah.	38 Obed genuit Iehu, Iehu genuit Azariam;
39 Azariah conceived Helez, and Helez conceived Eleasah.	39 Azarias genuit Helles, Helles genuit Elasa.
40 Eleasah conceived Sismai; Sismai conceived Shallum.	40 Elasa genuit Sisamoi, Sisamoi genuit Sellum;
41 Shallum conceived Jekamiah; then Jekamiah conceived Elishama.	41 Sellum genuit Iecemiam, Iecemias genuit Elisama.
42 And the sons of Caleb, the brother of Jerahmeel, were Mesha, his firstborn, who was the father of Ziph, and the sons of Mesha, the father of Hebron.	42 Filii autem Chaleb fratris Ierameel: Mesa primogenitus eius, ipse est pater Ziph; et filius eius Maresa pater Hebron.
43 Now the sons of Hebron were Korah, and Tapuah, and Rekem, and Shema.	43 Porro filii Hebron: Core et Thapphua et Recem et Samma;
44 Then Shema conceived Raham, the father of Jorkeam. And Rekem conceived Shammai.	44 Samma autem genuit Raham patrem Iercaam, et Recem genuit Sammai.
45 The son of Shammai was Maon, and Maon was the father of Bethzur.	45 Filius Sammai: Maon, et Maon pater Bethsur.
46 Now Ephah, the concubine of Caleb, bore Haran, and Moza, and Gazez. And Haran conceived Gazez.	46 Epha autem concubina Chaleb peperit Charran et Mosa et Gezez; porro Charran genuit Gezez.
47 And the sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.	47 Filii Iahaddai: Regem et Iotham et Gesan et Phalet et Epha et Saaph.
48 And Maacah, the concubine of Caleb, bore Sheber and Tirhanah.	48 Concubina Chaleb Maacha peperit Saber et Tharana.
49 Then Shaaph, the father of Madmannah, conceived Sheva, the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea. Truly, the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.	49 Genuit autem Saaph pater Madmena Sue patrem Machbena et patrem Gabaa. Filia vero Chaleb fuit Achsa.
50 These were the sons of Caleb, the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratha: Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim;	50 Hi erant filii Chaleb. Filii Hur primogeniti Ephratha: Sobal pater Cariathiarim,
51 Salma, the father of Bethlehem; Hareph, the father of Bethgader.	51 Salmon pater Bethlehem, Hariph pater Bethgader.
52 Now there were sons for Shobal, the father of Kiriath-jearim, who saw half the places of rest.	52 Fuerunt autem filii Sobal patris Cariathiarim Raaia, dimidium Manahat

55 as well as the families of the scribes living in Jabesh, those singing and making music, and those dwelling in tents. These are the Kenites, who went forth from Calor, the father of the house of Rechab.	55 cognationes quoque de Cariathsepher habitantes in Iabes: Therathaei, Semathaei et Suchathaei.
