1 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he came to the throne, and he reigned for eleven years inJerusalem. His mother's name was Hamital daughter of Jeremiah, of Libnah.	1 Genecia avea ventun' anno quando cominciò a regnare, e regnò undici anni in Gerusalemme. 3 That this should happen to Jerusalem and Judah was due to Yahweh's anger, resulting in his castingthem away from his presence. 17 The Chaldaeans broke up the bronze pil ars from the Temple of Yahweh, the wheeled stands and thebronze Sea, which were in the Temple of Yahweh, and took al the bronze away to Babylon.	17 E i Caldei pure fecer in pezzi le colonne di bronzo, che erano nella casa del Signore, e i piedistalli, e il mare di bronzo, che era nella casa del Signore, e tutto il bronzo lo portarono a Babilonia.
18 They also took the ash containers, the scoops, the knives, the sprinkling bowls, the incense bowls,and all the bronze furnishings used in worship.	18 E portaron via le caldaie, e le padelle, e i salteri, e le coppe, e i mortaj, e tutti i vasi di bronzo, che servivano ad uso del tempio,
19 The commander of the guard also took the bowls, the censers, the sprinkling bowls, the ashcontainers, the lamp-stands, the goblets and the saucers: everything that was made of gold and everythingmade of silver.	19 E il capitano dell'esercito prese le idrie e i turiboli, e gli orci, e i catini, e i candellieri, e i mortaj, e le tazze, e quanto vi era sia di oro, sia di argento;
20 As regards the two pil ars, the one Sea, the twelve bronze oxen supporting the Sea, and the wheeledstands, which King Solomon had made for the Temple of Yahweh, there was no reckoning the weight of bronzein all these objects.	20 E le due colonne, e il mare, e i dodici vitelli di bronzo, che erano sotto i piedistalli, fatti dal re Salomone nella casa del Signore. 21 As regards the pil ars, the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits, its circumference was twelvecubits, it was four fingers thick, and hol ow inside;	21 E quanto alle colonne, ognuna delle colonne avea diciotto cubiti d'altezza, e una corda di dodici cubiti faceva il suo giro, e avea quattro dita di grossezza, e dentro era vuota.
22 on it stood a capital of bronze, the height of the capital being five cubits; round the capital were filigreeand pomegranates, al in bronze. So also for the second pil ar.	22 E i capitelli dell'una, e dell'altra eran di bronzo. L'altezza di un capitello era cinque cubiti, e vi erano delle reticelle, e de' meligranati, che lo coprivano all'intorno; e il tutto era di bronzo. Così pure l'altra colonna, e i meligranati.
23 There were ninety-six pomegranates round the sides, making a hundred pomegranates round thefiligree in al .	23 E i meligranati pendenti erano novantasei; e in tutto i meligranati erano cento circondati dalle reticelle.
24 The commander of the guard took prisoner Seraiah the chief priest, Zephaniah the priest next in rank,and the three guardians of the threshold.	24 E il capitano dell'esercito prese ancor Saraia primo sacerdote, e Sofonia secondo sacerdote, e i tre custodi del vestibolo.

34 And his upkeep was permanently ensured by the king, day after day, for the rest of his life until theday he died.	34 E il suo mantenimento gli fu a assegnato dal re di Babilonia in perpetuo, tanto per giorno, fino al dì della sua morte per tutti i giorni, ch'ei visse.
