NEW JERUSALEM	Biblija Hrvatski
1 Al eluia! Give thanks to Yahweh, cal on his name, proclaim his deeds to the peoples!	1 Aleluja! Hvalite Jahvu, prizivajte mu ime, navješćujte među narodima djela njegova!
2 Sing to him, make music for him, recount all his wonders!	2 Pjevajte mu, svirajte mu, pripovijedajte sva njegova čudesa!
3 Glory in his holy name, let the hearts that seek Yahweh rejoice!	3 Dičite se svetim imenom njegovim, neka se raduje srce onih što traže Jahvu!
4 Seek Yahweh and his strength, tirelessly seek his presence!	4 Tražite Jahvu i njegovu snagu, tražite svagda njegovo lice!
5 Remember the marvels he has done, his wonders, the judgements he has spoken.	5 Sjetite se čudesa koja učini, njegovih čuda i sudova usta njegovih!
6 Stock of Abraham, his servant, children of Jacob whom he chose!	6 Abrahamov rod sluga je njegov, sinovi Jakovljevi njegovi izabranici!
7 He is Yahweh our God, his judgements touch the whole world.	7 On je Jahve, Bog naš; po svoj su zemlji njegovi sudovi!
8 He remembers his covenant for ever, the promise he laid down for a thousand generations,	8 On se uvijek sjeća svojega Saveza, riječi koju dade tisući naraštaja:
9 which he concluded with Abraham, the oath he swore to Isaac.	9 Saveza koji sklopi s Abrahamom i zakletve svoje Izaku.
10 He established it as a statute for Jacob, an everlasting covenant with Israel,	10 Ustanovi je kao zakon Jakovu, Izraelu vječni savez,
11 saying, 'To you I give a land, Canaan, your allotted birthright.'	11 govoreći: »Tebi ću dati kanaansku zemlju kao dio u baštinu vašu.«
12 When they were insignificant in numbers, a handful of strangers in the land,	12 Kad ih još bješe malo na broju, vrlo malo, i kad bjehu pridošlice u njoj,
13 wandering from country to country, from one kingdom and nation to another,	13 išli su od naroda do naroda, iz jednoga kraljevstva k drugom narodu,
14 he al owed no one to oppress them; for their sake he instructed kings,	14 ali ne dopusti nikom da ih tlači, kažnjavaše zbog njih kraljeve:
15 'Do not touch my anointed ones, to my prophets you may do no harm.'	15 »Ne dirajte u moje pomazanike, ne nanosite zla mojim prorocima!«
16 He cal ed down famine on the land, he took away their food supply;	16 I on pozva glad na zemlju, sve zalihe uništi krušne.
17 he sent a man ahead of them, Joseph, sold as a slave.	17 Pred njima čovjeka posla: Josip u ropstvo bijaše prodan.
18 So his feet were weighed down with shackles, his neck was put in irons.	18 Sputaše uzama noge njegove, u gvožđe mu vrat staviše,
19 In due time his prophecy was fulfilled, the word of Yahweh proved him true.	19 dok se ne ispuni proroštvo njegovo, Jahvina ga riječ potvrdi.
20 The king sent orders to release him, the ruler of nations set him free;	20 Kralj naredi da ga driješe, nárôdâ poglavar oslobodi njega.
21 he put him in charge of his household, the ruler of al he possessed,	21 Za domaćina ga stavi kući svojoj, za nadstojnika sveg imanja svoga,
22 to instruct his princes as he saw fit, to teach his counsel ors wisdom.	22 da velikaše njegove po volji uči i starce njegove mudrosti da vodi.
23 Then Israel migrated to Egypt, Jacob settled in the country of Ham.	23 Tad Izrael u Egipat uđe, Jakov došljak bješe u Kamovoj zemlji.
24 He made his people increase in numbers, he gave them more strength than their enemies,	24 Narod svoj umnoži veoma, učini ga jačim od dušmana.
25 whose heart he turned to hate his own people, to double-cross his servants.	25 Okrenu im srce da zamrze narod njegov, da slugama njegovim opaki budu.
26 He sent his servant Moses, and Aaron, the man of his choice.	26 Mojsija posla, slugu svoga, Arona, kog odabra.
27 They worked there the wonders he commanded, marvels in the country of Ham.	27 Činjahu među njima znake njegove i čudesa u Kamovoj zemlji.
28 Darkness he sent, and darkness fel , but that nation defied his orders.	28 Posla tmine, i smrknu se, al’ prkosiše oni riječima njegovim.
29 He turned their rivers to blood, and kil ed al the fish in them.	29 U krv im vode prometnu i pobi ribe njihove.
30 Their country was overrun with frogs, even in the royal apartments;	30 Zemljom im žabe provrvješe, prodriješe i u dvore kraljevske.
31 at his word came flies, and mosquitoes throughout the country.	31 Reče, i muhâ roj doletje i komarci u sve kraje njine.
32 He gave them hail as their rain, flames of fire in their land;	32 Mjesto kiše grad im dade, ognjene munje po njihovoj zemlji.
33 he blasted their vine and their fig tree, and shattered the trees of the country.	33 Udari im lozu i smokve, polomi stabla u krajima njinim.
34 At his word came locusts, hoppers beyond al counting;	34 Reče, i skakavci dođoše i bezbrojne gusjenice s njima.
35 they devoured every green thing in the land, devoured al the produce of the soil.	35 U zemlji im proždriješe svu bilinu, proždriješe rod njihovih njiva.
36 He struck al the first-born in their land, the flower of all their manhood;	36 Pobi sve prvorođene u njihovoj zemlji, sve prvine snage njihove.
37 he led Israel out with silver and gold; in their tribes there was none who stumbled.	37 Izvede ih sa srebrom i zlatom; u plemenima njinim bolesnih ne bješe.
38 Egypt was glad at their leaving, for terror of Israel had seized them.	38 Odlasku njihovu Egipat se obradova, jer ga od njih strah spopade.
39 He spread out a cloud to cover them, and fire to light up the night.	39 Rasprostro je oblak kao pokrov i oganj da se obnoć sja.
40 They asked and he brought them quails, food from heaven to their hearts' content;	40 Zamoliše, i dovede prepelice, nebeskim ih kruhom tad nahrani.
41 he opened a rock, the waters gushed out, and flowed in dry ground as a river.	41 Hrid rascijepi, i provri voda, pustinjom poteče kao rijeka.
42 Faithful to his sacred promise, given to his servant Abraham,	42 Tad se sjeti svete riječi svoje što je zada sluzi svome Abrahamu.
43 he led out his people with rejoicing, his chosen ones with shouts of joy.	43 Puk svoj s klicanjem izvede i s veseljem izabrane svoje.
44 He gave them the territories of nations, they reaped the fruit of other people's labours,	44 I dade im zemlje poganske, trud narodâ baštiniše,
45 on condition that they kept his statutes, and remained obedient to his laws.	45 da čuvaju naredbe njegove i zakone da mu paze. Aleluja!
