Hosea 3

1 The number of the Israelites shall be like the sand of the sea, which can be neither measured nor counted. Whereas they were called, "Lo-ammi," They shall be called, "Children of the living God."	1 Jahvè disse a me di nuovo: «Va’, ama una donna che è amata da un altro ed è un’adultera, così come Jahvè ama i figli di Israele, mentre essi si volgono ad altri dèi e amano le focacce d’uva».
2 Then the people of Judah and of Israel shall be gathered together; They shall appoint for themselves one head and come up from other lands, for great shall be the day of Jezreel.	2 Me la comperai per quindici sicli d’argento e un khomer e mezzo di orzo;
3 Say to your brothers, "Ammi," and to your sisters, "Ruhama."	3 e le dissi: «Per molti giorni stammi ritirata, non prostituirti; non accostarti a nessuno e nemmeno io a te.
4 For the people of Israel shall remain many days without king or prince, Without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or household idols.	4 Poiché per molti giorni i figli d’Israele resteranno senza re e senza capo senza sacrificio e senza stele senza efod e senza terafim.
5 Then the people of Israel shall turn back and seek the LORD, their God, and David, their king; They shall come trembling to the LORD and to his bounty, in the last days.	5 Ma poi di nuovo i figli d’Israele cercheranno Jahvè loro Dio e David loro re e si rifugeranno trepidanti in Jahvè e nella sua bontà nel tempo avvenire».
