Leviticus 27

1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 - Il Signore parlò ancora a Mosè, e gli disse:
2 "Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When anyone fulfills a vow of offering one or more persons to the LORD, who are to be ransomed at a fixed sum of money,	2 «Parla ai figli d'Israele, e di' loro: - Colui che avrà fatto un voto consacrando al Signore la propria persona, la riscatterà pagando il prezzo convenuto.
3 for persons between the ages of twenty and sixty, the fixed sum, in sanctuary shekels, shall be fifty silver shekels for a man,	3 Per un maschio dai venti ai sessant'anni, darà cinquanta sicli d'argento della misura del santuario;
4 and thirty shekels for a woman;	4 per una donna, trenta.
5 for persons between the ages of five and twenty, the fixed sum shall be twenty shekels for a youth, and ten for a maiden;	5 Dai cinque anni ai venti, un maschio darà venti sicli, una femmina dieci.
6 for persons between the ages of one month and five years, the fixed sum shall be five silver shekels for a boy, and three for a girl;	6 Da un mese sino a cinque anni, per un maschio si danno cinque sicli, per una femmina tre.
7 for persons of sixty or more, the fixed sum shall be fifteen shekels for a man, and ten for a woman.	7 Da sessant'anni in su, un maschio darà quindici sicli, ed una femmina dieci.
8 However, if the one who took the vow is too poor to meet the fixed sum, the person must be set before the priest, who shall determine the sum for his ransom in keeping with the means of the one who made the vow.	8 Se sarà povero, e non potrà dare quanto è stabilito, si presenterà al sacerdote, e quanto questi giudicherà e stimerà che egli possa dare, tanto pagherà.
9 "If the offering vowed to the LORD is an animal that may be sacrificed, every such animal, when vowed to the LORD, becomes sacred.	9 Se uno avrà fatto voto d'un animale [mondo] che può essere immolato al Signore, è ormai cosa santa;
10 The offerer shall not present a substitute for it by exchanging either a better for a worse one or a worse for a better one. If he attempts to offer one animal in place of another, both the original and its substitute shall be treated as sacred.	10 non può essere cambiato, nè dandone uno migliore invece d'uno cattivo, nè uno peggiore invece d'uno buono; che se lo cambierà rimarrà consacrato al Signore tanto quello che è stato cambiato, quanto quello col quale il cambio è stato fatto.
11 If the animal vowed to the LORD is unclean and therefore unfit for sacrifice, it must be set before the priest,	11 Se uno avrà fatto voto d'un animale immondo che non può esser immolato al Signore, lo presenterà al sacerdote;
12 who shall determine its value in keeping with its good or bad qualities, and the value set by the priest shall stand.	12 il quale giudicando se è buono o cattivo ne stabilirà il prezzo.
13 If the offerer wishes to redeem the animal, he shall pay one fifth more than this valuation.	13 Se l'offerente vorrà ricomprarlo egli stesso, darà in più un quinto della stima.
14 "When someone dedicates his house as sacred to the LORD, the priest shall determine its value in keeping with its good or bad points, and the value set by the priest shall stand.	14 Se uno avrà promessa con voto e consacrata al Signore la sua casa, il sacerdote l'esaminerà, se è buona o cattiva, e poi sarà venduta secondo il prezzo da lui stabilito.
15 If the one who dedicated his house wishes to redeem it, he shall pay one fifth more than the price thus established, and then it will again be his.	15 Se quegli che ne aveva fatto il voto vorrà riscattarla, darà un quinto in più della stima, e riavrà quella casa.
16 "If the object which someone dedicates to the LORD is a piece of his hereditary land, its valuation shall be made according to the amount of seed required to sow it, the acreage sown with a homer of barley seed being valued at fifty silver shekels.	16 Se uno avrà consacrato per voto al Signore un campo del suo patrimonio, il prezzo ne verrà stimato in ragione della quantità del seme [che vi si richiede]; se per seminarlo ci vogliono trenta moggia d'orzo, e il suo prezzo sarà di cinquanta sicli d'argento.
17 If the dedication of a field is made at the beginning of a jubilee period, the full valuation shall hold;	17 Se avrà fatto voto di quel campo l'anno stesso del principio del giubileo, sarà pagato quel tanto che vale.
18 but if it is some time after this, the priest shall estimate its money value according to the number of years left until the next jubilee year, with a corresponding rebate on the valuation.	18 Ma se è passato del tempo, il sacerdote ne assegnerà il costo tenendo conto del numero d'anni che ancora restano sino al giubileo, e diminuendo il prezzo in proporzione.
19 If the one who dedicated his field wishes to redeem it, he shall pay one fifth more than the price thus established, and so reclaim it.	19 Se quegli che aveva fatto il voto vorrà riscattare quel campo, pagherà in più il quinto del prezzo di stima, e lo riavrà.
20 If, instead of redeeming such a field, he sells it to someone else, it may no longer be redeemed;	20 Se poi non lo vorrà riscattare, e sarà stato venduto ad un altro, chi aveva fatto il voto non potrà più riscattarlo;
21 but at the jubilee it shall be released as sacred to the LORD; like a field that is doomed, it shall become priestly property.	21 perchè quando verrà il giorno del giubileo, quel campo sarà santificato per il Signore, e come possessione sacra spetterà di diritto ai sacerdoti.
22 "If the field that some man dedicates to the LORD is one he had purchased and not a part of his hereditary property,	22 Se poi il campo riserbato al Signore non proveniva dal patrimonio degli avi, ma era stato comprato,
23 the priest shall compute its value in proportion to the number of years until the next jubilee, and on the same day the price thus established shall be given as sacred to the LORD;	23 il sacerdote ne calcolerà il prezzo a seconda degli anni che ancora mancano al giubileo, e chi aveva fatto il voto darà quel prezzo al Signore.
24 at the jubilee, however, the field shall revert to the hereditary owner of this land from whom it had been purchased.	24 Al tempo però del giubileo, esso ritornerà all'antico padrone, che l'aveva avuto come parte del suo patrimonio, e l'aveva venduto.
25 "Every valuation shall be made according to the standard of the sanctuary shekel. There are twenty gerahs to the shekel.	25 Tutti questi computi si faranno secondo il peso del siclo del santuario. Il siclo vale venti oboli.
26 "Note that a first-born animal, which as such already belongs to the LORD, may not be dedicated by vow to him. If it is an ox or a sheep, it shall be ceded to the LORD;	26 I primogeniti, che sono del Signore per diritto, nessuno potrà consacrarli ed offrirli come voto; siano di bovi o di pecore, son del Signore.
27 but if it is an unclean animal, it may be redeemed by paying one fifth more than its fixed value. If it is not redeemed, it shall be sold at its fixed value.	27 Se si tratta d'un animale immondo, chi l'aveva offerto lo riscatterà secondo la tua stima; aggiungendovi il quinto del prezzo; se non lo vorrà riscattare, si venderà ad un altro per quanto l'avrai tu stimato.
28 "Note, also, that any one of his possessions which a man vows as doomed to the LORD, whether it is a human being or an animal or a hereditary field, shall be neither sold nor ransomed; everything that is thus doomed becomes most sacred to the LORD.	28 Tutto quello che è stato sacrato con interdetto al Signore, sia uomo o animale o campo, non si venderà, e non si potrà riscattare. Quel che una volta è stato così sacrato, rimarrà cosa santissima per il Signore.
29 All human beings that are doomed lose the right to be redeemed; they must be put to death.	29 Ed ogni animale così sacrato ed offerto da un uomo non potrà venir riscattato, ma sarà messo a morte.
30 "All tithes of the land, whether in grain from the fields or in fruit from the trees, belong to the LORD, as sacred to him.	30 Tutte le decime del suolo, siano del Signore, ed a lui riserbate.
31 If someone wishes to buy back any of his tithes, he shall pay one fifth more than their value.	31 Se poi uno vorrà riscattare le sue decime, v'aggiungerà un quinto.
32 The tithes of the herd and the flock shall be determined by ceding to the LORD as sacred every tenth animal as they are counted by the herdsman's rod.	32 Di ogni dieci bovi o pecore o capre che passano sotto la verga del pastore, il decimo capo sarà santificato per il Signore.
33 It shall not matter whether good ones or bad ones are thus chosen, and no exchange may be made. If any exchange is attempted, both the original animal and its substitute shall be treated as sacred, without the right of being bought back."	33 Non si sceglierà, nè buono nè cattivo, nè si muterà con un altro; se uno lo muterà, tanto quello che è stato mutato, quanto quello col quale è stato fatto il cambio resteranno santificati per il Signore, e non si potranno riscattare - ».
34 These are the commandments which the LORD gave Moses on Mount Sinai for the Israelites.	34 Questi sono gli ordini che il Signore sul monte Sinai dette a Mosè, pei figli d'Israele.
