Isaiah 14

NEW AMERICAN BIBLE	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 When the LORD has pity on Jacob and again chooses Israel and settles them on their own soil, the aliens will join them and be counted with the house of Jacob.	1 لان الرب سيرحم يعقوب ويختار ايضا اسرائيل ويريحهم في ارضهم فتقترن بهم الغرباء وينضمون الى بيت يعقوب.
2 The house of Israel will take them and bring them along to its place, and possess them as male and female slaves on the Lord's soil, making captives of its captors and ruling over its oppressors.	2 ويأخذهم شعوب وياتون بهم الى موضعهم ويمتلكهم بيت اسرائيل في ارض الرب عبيدا واماء ويسبون الذين سبوهم ويتسلطون على ظالميهم
3 On the day the LORD relieves you of sorrow and unrest and the hard service in which you have been enslaved,	3 ويكون في يوم يريحك الرب من تعبك ومن انزعاجك ومن العبودية القاسية التي استعبدت بها
4 you will take up this taunt-song against the king of Babylon: How the oppressor has reached his end! how the turmoil is stilled!	4 انك تنطق بهذا الهجو على ملك بابل وتقول. كيف باد الظالم بادت المغطرسة.
5 The LORD has broken the rod of the wicked, the staff of the tyrants	5 قد كسر الرب عصا الاشرار قضيب المتسلطين
6 That struck the peoples in wrath relentless blows; That beat down the nations in anger, with oppression unchecked.	6 الضارب الشعوب بسخط ضربة بلا فتور المتسلط بغضب على الامم باضطهاد بلا إمساك.
7 The whole earth rests peacefully, song breaks forth;	7 استراحت اطمأنت كل الارض. هتفوا ترنما.
8 The very cypresses rejoice over you, and the cedars of Lebanon: "Now that you are laid to rest, there will be none to cut us down."	8 حتى السرو يفرح عليك وارز لبنان قائلا منذ اضطجعت لم يصعد علينا قاطع.
9 The nether world below is all astir preparing for your coming; It awakens the shades to greet you, all the leaders of the earth; It has the kings of all nations rise from their thrones.	9 الهاوية من اسفل مهتزة لك لاستقبال قدومك منهضة لك الاخيلة جميع عظماء الارض. اقامت كل ملوك الامم عن كراسيهم.
10 All of them speak out and say to you, "You too have become weak like us, you are the same as we.	10 كلهم يجيبون ويقولون لك أانت ايضا قد ضعفت نظيرنا وصرت مثلنا.
11 Down to the nether world your pomp is brought, the music of your harps. The couch beneath you is the maggot, your covering, the worm."	11 أهبط الى الهاوية فخرك رنة اعوادك. تحتك تفرش الرمة وغطاؤك الدود.
12 How have you fallen from the heavens, O morning star, son of the dawn! How are you cut down to the ground, you who mowed down the nations!	12 كيف سقطت من السماء يا زهرة بنت الصبح. كيف قطعت الى الارض يا قاهر الامم.
13 You said in your heart: "I will scale the heavens; Above the stars of God I will set up my throne; I will take my seat on the Mount of Assembly, in the recesses of the North.	13 وانت قلت في قلبك اصعد الى السموات ارفع كرسيي فوق كواكب الله واجلس على جبل الاجتماع في اقاصي الشمال.
14 I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will be like the Most High!"	14 اصعد فوق مرتفعات السحاب. اصير مثل العلي.
15 Yet down to the nether world you go to the recesses of the pit!	15 لكنك انحدرت الى الهاوية الى اسافل الجب.
16 When they see you they will stare, pondering over you: "Is this the man who made the earth tremble, and kingdoms quake?	16 الذين يرونك يتطلعون اليك يتأملون فيك. أهذا هو الرجل الذي زلزل الارض وزعزع الممالك
17 Who made the world a desert, razed its cities, and gave his captives no release?	17 الذي جعل العالم كقفر وهدم مدنه الذي لم يطلق اسراه الى بيوتهم.
18 All the kings of the nations lie in glory, each in his own tomb;	18 كل ملوك الامم باجمعهم اضطجعوا بالكرامة كل واحد في بيته.
19 But you are cast forth without burial, loathsome and corrupt, Clothed as those slain at sword-point, a trampled corpse. Going down to the pavement of the pit,	19 واما انت فقد طرحت من قبرك كغصن اشنع كلباس القتلى المضروبين بالسيف الهابطين الى حجارة الجب كجثة مدوسة.
20 you will never be one with them in the grave." For you have ruined your land, you have slain your people! Let him not be named forever, that scion of an evil race!	20 لا تتحد بهم في القبر لانك اخربت ارضك قتلت شعبك. لا يسمى الى الابد نسل فاعلي الشر.
21 He shall pass through it hard-pressed and hungry, and in his hunger he shall become enraged, and curse his king and his gods. He shall look upward, but there shall be strict darkness without any dawn;	21 هيئوا لبنيه قتلا باثم آبائهم فلا يقوموا ولا يرثوا الارض ولا يملأوا وجه العالم مدنا.
22 He shall gaze at the earth, but there shall be distress and darkness, with the light blacked out by its clouds.	22 فاقوم عليهم يقول رب الجنود واقطع من بابل اسما وبقية ونسلا وذرية يقول الرب.
23 I will make it a haunt of hoot owls and a marshland; I will sweep it with the broom of destruction, says the LORD of hosts.	23 واجعلهم ميراثا للقنفذ وآجام مياه واكنسها بمكنسة الهلاك يقول رب الجنود
24 The LORD of hosts has sworn: As I have resolved, so shall it be; As I have proposed, so shall it stand:	24 قد حلف رب الجنود قائلا انه كما قصدت يصير وكما نويت يثبت
25 Then his yoke shall be removed from them, and his burden from their shoulder.	25 ان احطم اشور في ارضي وادوسه على جبالي فيزول عنهم نيره ويزول عن كتفهم حمله.
26 This is the plan proposed for the whole earth, and this the hand outstretched over all nations.	26 هذا هو القضاء المقضي به على كل الارض وهذه هي اليد الممدودة على كل الامم.
27 The LORD of hosts has planned; who can thwart him? His hand is stretched out; who can turn it back?	27 فان رب الجنود قد قضى فمن يبطّل ويده هي الممدودة فمن يردها
28 In the year that King Ahaz died, there came this oracle:	28 في سنة وفاة الملك آحاز كان هذا الوحي.
29 Rejoice not, O Philistia, not a man of you, that the rod which smote you is broken; For out of the serpent's root shall come an adder, its fruit shall be a flying saraph.	29 لا تفرحي يا جميع فلسطين لان القضيب الضاربك انكسر فانه من اصل الحية يخرج افعوان وثمرته تكون ثعبانا ساما طيارا.
30 In my pastures the poor shall eat, and the needy lie down in safety; But I will kill your root with famine that shall slay even your remnant.	30 وترعى ابكار المساكين ويربض البائسون بالامان واميت اصلك بالجوع فيقتل بقيتك.
31 Howl, O gate; cry out, O city! Philistia, all of you melts away! For there comes a smoke from the north, without a straggler in the ranks.	31 ولول ايها الباب اصرخي ايتها المدينة. قد ذاب جميعك يا فلسطين. لانه من الشمال يأتي دخان وليس شاذّ في جيوشه.
32 What will one answer the messengers of the nation? "The LORD has established Zion, and in her the afflicted of his people find refuge."	32 فبماذا يجاب رسل الامم. ان الرب اسس صهيون وبها يحتمي بائسو شعبه
