1 Then the LORD said to Moses,	1 Der Herr sprach zu Mose:
2 "On the first day of the first month you shall erect the Dwelling of the meeting tent.	2 Am ersten Tag des ersten Monats sollst du die Wohnstätte des Offenbarungszeltes aufstellen.
3 Put the ark of the commandments in it, and screen off the ark with the veil.	3 Stell die Lade der Bundesurkunde hinein und verdeck die Lade durch den Vorhang!
4 Bring in the table and set it. Then bring in the lampstand and set up the lamps on it.	4 Bring den Tisch hinein und leg seine Ausrüstung zurecht; stell den Leuchter auf und setz seine Lampen auf!
5 Put the golden altar of incense in front of the ark of the commandments, and hang the curtain at the entrance of the Dwelling.	5 Stell den goldenen Räucheraltar vor die Lade der Bundesurkunde und häng den Vorhang vor den Eingang der Wohnstätte!
6 Put the altar of holocausts in front of the entrance of the Dwelling of the meeting tent.	6 Errichte den Brandopferaltar vor dem Eingang der Wohnstätte, des Offenbarungszeltes!
7 Place the laver between the meeting tent and the altar, and put water in it.	7 Das Becken stell zwischen das Offenbarungszelt und den Altar und gieß Wasser hinein!
8 Set up the court round about, and put the curtain at the entrance of the court.	8 Errichte den Vorhof ringsum und häng den Vorhang an das Tor des Vorhofs!
9 "Take the anointing oil and anoint the Dwelling and everything in it, consecrating it and all its furnishings, so that it will be sacred.	9 Nimm das Salböl und salbe die Wohnstätte und alles, was in ihr ist. Weihe sie mit allen ihren Geräten! So wird sie heilig sein.
10 Anoint the altar of holocausts and all its appurtenances, consecrating it, so that it will be most sacred.	10 Salbe auch den Brandopferaltar mit all seinen Geräten und weihe den Altar! So wird der Altar hochheilig sein.
11 Likewise, anoint the laver with its base, and thus consecrate it.	11 Salbe das Becken mit seinem Gestell und weihe es!
12 "Then bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the meeting tent, and there wash them with water.	12 Dann lass Aaron und seine Söhne zum Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes herantreten und wasche sie mit Wasser!
13 Clothe Aaron with the sacred vestments and anoint him, thus consecrating him as my priest.	13 Bekleide Aaron mit den heiligen Gewändern, salbe und weihe ihn, damit er mir als Priester dient.
14 Bring forward his sons also, and clothe them with the tunics.	14 Dann lass seine Söhne herantreten und bekleide sie mit Leibröcken;
15 As you have anointed their father, anoint them also as my priests. Thus, by being anointed, shall they receive a perpetual priesthood throughout all future generations."	15 salbe sie, wie du ihren Vater gesalbt hast, damit sie mir als Priester dienen. Ihre Salbung soll ihnen ein immer währendes Priestertum sichern von Generation zu Generation.
16 Moses did exactly as the LORD had commanded him.	16 Mose tat es. Er machte alles, wie es der Herr ihm befohlen hatte.
17 On the first day of the first month of the second year the Dwelling was erected.	17 Im zweiten Jahr, am ersten Tag des ersten Monats, stellte man die Wohnstätte auf.
18 It was Moses who erected the Dwelling. He placed its pedestals, set up its boards, put in its bars, and set up its columns.	18 Mose stellte die Wohnstätte auf, legte ihre Sockel hin, setzte ihre Bretter darauf, brachte ihre Querlatten an und stellte ihre Säulen auf.
19 He spread the tent over the Dwelling and put the covering on top of the tent, as the LORD had commanded him.	19 Dann spannte er das Zelt über die Wohnstätte und legte die Decke des Zeltes darüber, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
20 He took the commandments and put them in the ark; he placed poles alongside the ark and set the propitiatory upon it.	20 Dann nahm er die Bundesurkunde, legte sie in die Lade, brachte die Stangen an der Lade an und setzte die Deckplatte oben auf die Lade.
21 He brought the ark into the Dwelling and hung the curtain veil, thus screening off the ark of the commandments, as the LORD had commanded him.	21 Er brachte die Lade in die Wohnstätte, spannte die Vorhangdecke auf und verdeckte so die Lade der Bundesurkunde, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
22 He put the table in the meeting tent, on the north side of the Dwelling, outside the veil,	22 Er stellte den Tisch in das Offenbarungszelt, an die Nordseite der Wohnstätte, vor den Vorhang.
23 and arranged the bread on it before the LORD, as the LORD had commanded him.	23 Darauf schichtete er die Brote vor dem Herrn auf, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
24 He placed the lampstand in the meeting tent, opposite the table, on the south side of the Dwelling,	24 Er stellte den Leuchter in das Offenbarungszelt, dem Tisch gegenüber, an die Südseite der Wohnstätte.
25 and he set up the lamps before the LORD, as the LORD had commanded him.	25 Er setzte die Lampen vor dem Herrn auf, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
26 He placed the golden altar in the meeting tent, in front of the veil,	26 Dann stellte er den goldenen Altar in das Offenbarungszelt vor den Vorhang.
27 and on it he burned fragrant incense, as the LORD had commanded him.	27 Er ließ auf ihm duftendes Räucherwerk verbrennen, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
28 He hung the curtain at the entrance of the Dwelling.	28 Dann hängte er den Vorhang an den Eingang der Wohnstätte.
29 He put the altar of holocausts in front of the entrance of the Dwelling of the meeting tent, and offered holocausts and cereal offerings on it, as the LORD had commanded him.	29 Den Brandopferaltar stellte er an den Eingang der Wohnstätte, des Offenbarungszeltes, und brachte auf ihm das Brand- und Speiseopfer dar, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
30 He placed the laver between the meeting tent and the altar, and put water in it for washing.	30 Er stellte das Becken zwischen das Offenbarungszelt und den Altar und goss Wasser zum Waschen hinein.
31 Moses and Aaron and his sons used to wash their hands and feet there,	31 Darin wuschen Mose, Aaron und seine Söhne ihre Hände und Füße.
32 for they washed themselves whenever they went into the meeting tent or approached the altar, as the LORD had commanded Moses.	32 Wenn sie in das Offenbarungszelt eintraten oder sich dem Altar näherten, wuschen sie sich, wie es der Herr dem Mose befohlen hatte.
33 Finally, he set up the court around the Dwelling and the altar and hung the curtain at the entrance of the court. Thus Moses finished all the work.	33 Er errichtete den Vorhof um die Wohnstätte und den Altar und ließ den Vorhang am Tor des Vorhofs aufhängen. So vollendete Mose das Werk.
34 Then the cloud covered the meeting tent, and the glory of the LORD filled the Dwelling.	34 Dann verhüllte die Wolke das Offenbarungszelt und die Herrlichkeit des Herrn erfüllte die Wohnstätte.
35 Moses could not enter the meeting tent, because the cloud settled down upon it and the glory of the LORD filled the Dwelling.	35 Mose konnte das Offenbarungszelt nicht betreten, denn die Wolke lag darauf, und die Herrlichkeit des Herrn erfüllte die Wohnstätte.
36 Whenever the cloud rose from the Dwelling, the Israelites would set out on their journey.	36 Immer, wenn die Wolke sich von der Wohnstätte erhob, brachen die Israeliten auf, solange ihre Wanderung dauerte.
37 But if the cloud did not lift, they would not go forward; only when it lifted did they go forward.	37 Wenn sich aber die Wolke nicht erhob, brachen sie nicht auf, bis zu dem Tag, an dem sie sich erhob.
38 In the daytime the cloud of the LORD was seen over the Dwelling; whereas at night, fire was seen in the cloud by the whole house of Israel in all the stages of their journey.	38 Bei Tag schwebte über der Wohnstätte die Wolke des Herrn, bei Nacht aber war an ihr Feuer vor den Augen des ganzen Hauses Israel, solange ihre Wanderung dauerte.
