1 Levijevi su sinovi bili: Geršom, Kehat i Merari.	1 Sons of Levi: Gershom, Kohath and Merari.
2 Evo imena Geršomovih sinova: Libni i Šimej.	2 These are the names of the sons of Gershom: Libni and Shimei.
3 Kehatovi su sinovi bili: Amram, Jishar, Hebron i Uziel.	3 Sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, Uzziel.
4 Merarijevi sinovi: Mahli i Muši. Ovo su rodovi Levijevaca po svojim ocima.	4 Sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the levitical clans according to their father.

40 dali su Hebron u judejskoj zemlji s pašnjacima oko njega.	40 were given Hebron in the territory of Judah with its surrounding pasture lands.

49 Tako su Izraelovi sinovi dali levitima te gradove s pašnjacima.	49 The Israelites gave these towns with their pasture lands to the Levites.
