Psalms 23

1 A psalm for David. The Lord ruleth me: and I shall want nothing.	1 Salmo di David nel primo di del Sabbato. La terra è del Signore, e la sua plenitudine; il circuito delle terre, e tutti che àbitano in quello.
2 He hath set me in a place of pasture. He hath brought me up, on the water of refreshment:	2 Per che hallo fondato sopra il mare, e sopra li fiumi l'ha preparato.
3 he hath converted my soul. He hath led me on the paths of justice, for his own name's sake.	3 Chi ascenderà nel monte del Signore? ovver chi starà nel luogo santo suo?
4 For though I should walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I will fear no evils, for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff, they have comforted me.	4 Innocente delle mani e mondo di cuore, il quale non ha tolto l'anima sua invano, nè giurato al suo prossimo con inganno.
5 Thou hast prepared a table before me against them that afflict me. Thou hast anointed my head with oil; and my chalice which inebriateth me, how goodly is it!	5 Questo riceverà la benedizione dal Signore, e la misericordia dal suo salvatore Iddio.
6 And thy mercy will follow me all the days of my life. And that I may dwell in the house of the Lord unto length of days.	6 Questa è la generazione de' suoi cercanti, cercanti la faccia di Dio di Iacob.
	7 Principi, levate le vostre porte, e voi, porte eternali, levatevi; ed entrerà il re della gloria.
	8 Chi è questo re di gloria? Egli è il Signore forte e potente, potente Signore nella battaglia.
	9 Voi, prìncipi, removete le vostre porte, e voi, porte eternali, levatevi; ed entrerà il re di gloria.
	10 Chi è questo re di gloria? Il Signore delle virtù, lui è il re di gloria.
