DIODATI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Salmo di Davide AL Signore appartiene la terra, e tutto quello che è in essa; Il mondo, ed i suoi abitanti.	1 [Psalm Of David] To Yahweh belong the earth and al it contains, the world and al who live there;
2 Perciocchè egli l’ha fondata sopra i mari, E l’ha fermata sopra i fiumi	2 it is he who laid its foundations on the seas, on the flowing waters fixed it firm.
3 Chi salirà al monte del Signore? E chi starà nel luogo suo santo?	3 Who shal go up to the mountain of Yahweh? Who shal take a stand in his holy place?
4 L’uomo innocente di mani, e puro di cuore; Il qual non eleva l’animo a vanità, e non giura con frode.	4 The clean of hands and pure of heart, whose heart is not set on vanities, who does not swear an oathin order to deceive.
5 Un tale riceverà benedizione dal Signore, E giustizia dall’Iddio della sua salute.	5 Such a one wil receive blessing from Yahweh, saving justice from the God of his salvation.
6 Tale è la generazione di quelli che lo ricercano; Tale è Giacobbe che cerca la tua faccia, o Dio. Sela	6 Such is the people that seeks him, that seeks your presence, God of Jacob.Pause
7 O porte, alzate i vostri capi; E voi, porte eterne, alzatevi; E il Re di gloria entrerà.	7 Gates, lift high your heads, raise high the ancient gateways, and the king of glory shal enter!
8 Chi è questo Re di gloria? Egli è il Signore forte e possente; Il Signore poderoso in battaglia.	8 Who is he, this king of glory? It is Yahweh, strong and valiant, Yahweh valiant in battle.
9 O porte, alzate i vostri capi; Alzatevi, o porte eterne; E il Re di gloria entrerà.	9 Gates, lift high your heads, raise high the ancient gateways, and the king of glory shal enter!
