| 6 Los que estaban reunidos le preguntaron: «Señor, ¿es ahora cuando vas a restaurar el reino de Israel?». | 6 So when they had come together, they asked him, "Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" |

| 8 Pero recibirán la fuerza del Espíritu Santo que descenderá sobre ustedes, y serán mis testigos en Jerusalén, en toda Judea y Samaría, y hasta los confines de la tierra». | 8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria and to the end of the earth." |
| 9 Dicho esto, los Apóstoles lo vieron elevarse, y una nube lo ocultó de la vista de ellos. | 9 And when he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him out of their sight. |

| 17 El era uno de los nuestros y había recibido su parte en nuestro ministerio. | 17 For he was numbered among us, and was allotted his share in this ministry. |
| 18 Pero después de haber comprado un campo con el precio de su crimen, cayó de cabeza, y su cuerpo se abrió, dispersándose sus entrañas. | 18 (Now this man bought a field with the reward of his wickedness; and falling headlong he burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out. |
| 19 El hecho fue tan conocido por todos los habitantes de Jerusalén, que ese campo fue llamado en su idioma Hacéldama, que quiere decir: «Campo de sangre». | 19 And it became known to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the field was called in their language Akeldama, that is, Field of Blood.) |
| 20 En el libro de los Salmos está escrito: Que su casa quede desierta y nadie la habite. Y más adelante: Que otro ocupe su cargo. | 20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, 'Let his habitation become desolate, and let there be no one to live in it'; and 'His office let another take.' |
| 21 Es necesario que uno de los que han estado en nuestra compañía durante todo el tiempo que el Señor Jesús permaneció con nosotros, | 21 So one of the men who have accompanied us during all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, |
| 22 desde el bautismo de Juan hasta el día de la ascensión, sea constituido junto con nosotros testigo de su resurrección». | 22 beginning from the baptism of John until the day when he was taken up from us--one of these men must become with us a witness to his resurrection." |
