EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Canto de peregrinación. Levanto mis ojos a las montañas: ¿de dónde me vendrá la ayuda?	1 [Song of Ascents] I lift up my eyes to the mountains; where is my help to come from?
2 La ayuda me viene del Señor, que hizo el cielo y la tierra.	2 My help comes from Yahweh who made heaven and earth.
3 El no dejará que resbale tu pie: ¡tu guardián no duerme!	3 May he save your foot from stumbling; may he, your guardian, not fall asleep!
4 No, no duerme ni dormita el guardián de Israel.	4 You see -- he neither sleeps nor slumbers, the guardian of Israel.
5 El Señor es tu guardián, es la sombra protectora a tu derecha:	5 Yahweh is your guardian, your shade, Yahweh, at your right hand.
6 de día, no te dañará el sol, ni la luna de noche.	6 By day the sun will not strike you, nor the moon by night.
7 El Señor te protegerá de todo mal y cuidará tu vida.	7 Yahweh guards you from al harm Yahweh guards your life,
8 El te protegerá en la partida y el regreso, ahora y para siempre.	8 Yahweh guards your comings and goings, henceforth and for ever.
