| 17 Cuando los filisteos oyeron que habían ungido a David rey de Israel, subieron todos para atacarlo. | 20 En seguida David se dirigió hacia Baal Perasím, y allí los derrotó, David dijo: «El Señor ha abierto ante mí una brecha entre mis enemigos, como una brecha abierta por las aguas». | 20 And David came to Baal-perazim, and David defeated them there; and he said, "The LORD has broken through my enemies before me, like a bursting flood." Therefore the name of that place is called Baal-perazim. |

| 25 David lo hizo tal como se lo había ordenado el Señor, y derrotó a los filisteos desde Gabaón hasta la entrada de Guezer. | 25 And David did as the LORD commanded him, and smote the Philistines from Geba to Gezer. |
