2 “Les Israélites camperont chacun autour de sa bannière sous les enseignes de leur clan; ils camperont autour de la Tente du Rendez-Vous et tournés vers elle.	2 'The Israelites must pitch their tents, each man by his own standard, under their family emblems. Theymust pitch their tents round the Dwelling where the Testimony is, some distance away.
3 Juda campera avec ses troupes autour de sa bannière à l’orient, du côté du soleil levant, avec Nahasson, fils d’Aminadab, prince des fils de Juda.	3 'Encamped on the east side: 'Furthest towards the east, the standard of the camp of Judah, unit byunit. Leader of the Judahites: Nahshon son of Amminadab.
4 Sa troupe compte d’après le recensement: 74 600 hommes.	4 His company: seventy-four thousand six hundred men.

16 Le total du camp de Ruben d’après le recensement est donc de 151 450 hommes, ils se mettront en marche les deuxièmes.	16 'The tribal forces in the camp of Reuben number in al a hundred and fifty-one thousand four hundredand fifty. They will be second to break camp.
17 La Tente du Rendez-Vous partira ensuite, le camp des Lévites se trouvant au milieu des autres camps. 19 Sa troupe compte d’après le recensement: 40 500 hommes.	19 His company: forty thousand five hundred men.
20 À côté de lui campera la tribu de Manassé avec Gamliel, fils de Pedahsur, prince des fils de Manassé.	20 'Next to him: 'The tribe of Manasseh. Leader of the Manassehites: Gamaliel son of Pedahzur.
21 Sa troupe compte d’après le recensement: 32 200 hommes.	21 His company: thirty-two thousand two hundred men.
22 Ensuite viendra la tribu de Benjamin avec Abidan, fils de Gidéoni, prince des fils de Benjamin.	22 'The tribe of Benjamin. Leader of the Benjaminites: Abidan son of Gideoni.
23 Sa troupe compte d’après le recensement: 35 400 hommes.	23 His company: thirty-five thousand four hundred men.
24 Le total du camp d’Éphraïm d’après le recensement est donc de 108 100 hommes; ils se mettront en marche les troisièmes.	24 'The tribal forces in the camp of Ephraim number in all a hundred and eight thousand one hundred.They wil be third to break camp.
25 Dan campera avec ses troupes autour de sa bannière au nord, avec Ahiézer, fils d’Amichaddaï, prince des fils de Dan.	25 'On the north side, the standard of the camp of Dan, unit by unit. Leader of the Danites: Ahiezer sonof Ammishaddai.
26 Sa troupe compte d’après le recensement: 62 700 hommes.	26 His company: sixty-two thousand seven hundred men.
27 À côté de lui campera la tribu d’Asher avec Pagiel, fils d’Okran, prince des fils d’Asher.	27 'Next to him: 'The tribe of Asher. Leader of the Asherites: Pagiel son of Ochran.
28 Sa troupe compte d’après le recensement: 41 500 hommes.	28 His company: forty-one thousand five hundred men.
29 Ensuite viendra la tribu de Nephtali avec Ahira, fils d’Énan, prince des fils de Nephtali.	29 'The tribe of Naphtali. Leader of the Naphtalites: Ahira son of Enan.
30 Sa troupe compte d’après le recensement: 53 400 hommes.	30 His company: fifty-three thousand four hundred men.
31 Le total du camp de Dan d’après le recensement est donc de 157 600 hommes; ils se mettront en marche les derniers autour de leur bannière.	31 'The tribal forces in the camp of Dan number in all a hundred and fifty-seven thousand six hundred.They wil be the last to break camp. 'Al under their appropriate standards.'
32 Voilà les Israélites qui furent recensés selon leurs tribus. Le total de tous ces hommes répartis dans leurs différents camps selon leurs formations, est donc de 603 550 hommes.	32 Such was the tally of the Israelites when the census was taken by families. The ful count of the entirecamp, unit by unit, came to six hundred and three thousand five hundred and fifty.
33 Les Lévites ne furent pas recensés avec les autres Israélites, puisque Yahvé l’avait ordonné ainsi à Moïse.	33 But, as Yahweh had ordered Moses, the Levites were not included in the census of the Israelites.
34 Les Israélites firent tout comme Yahvé l’avait ordonné à Moïse. C’est donc ainsi qu’ils campaient autour de leur bannière et qu’ils se mettaient en marche, chacun selon sa famille, selon sa tribu.	34 The Israelites did exactly as Yahweh had ordered Moses. This was how they pitched camp, groupedby standards. This was how they broke camp, each man in his own clan, each man with his own family.
