1 Cantico de' gradi. Sommi rallegrato in quelle cose che a me sono state dette; che anderemo nella casa del Signore.	1 A Canticle in steps. I rejoiced in the things that were said to me: “We shall go into the house of the Lord.”
2 Stanti erano li piedi nostri nelli portici tuoi, o Ierusalem.	2 Our feet were standing in your courts, O Jerusalem.
3 Ierusalem, che è edificata come città; la cui partecipazione in sè medesimo.	3 Jerusalem has been built as a city, whose participation is unto itself.
4 Qui ascendettero le tribù, tribù [del Signore], in testimonio d' Israel, a confessare al nome del Signore.	4 For to that place, the tribes ascended, the tribes of the Lord: the testimony of Israel, to confess to the name of the Lord.
5 Per che ivi sedettero li sedenti nel giudicio, sedenti sopra la casa di David.	5 For in that place, seats have sat down in judgment, seats above the house of David.
6 Pregate quelle cose che sono alla pace di Ierusalem; e alla abbondanza delli amanti te.	6 Petition for the things that are for the peace of Jerusalem, and for abundance for those who love you.
7 Nella virtù tua sia fatta la pace; e la abbondanza in le torri tue.	7 Let peace be in your virtue, and abundance in your towers.
8 Per li miei fratelli e prossimi miei, parlava la pace per te.	8 For the sake of my brothers and my neighbors, I spoke peace about you.
9 Per la casa del Dio nostro, cercai a te tutti li beni.	9 For the sake of the house of the Lord our God, I sought good things for you.
