1 And when the sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him.	1 Mikor elmúlt a szombat, Mária Magdolna és Mária, Jakab anyja és Szalóme illatszereket vásároltak, hogy elmenjenek és megkenjék Jézust.
2 And very early on the first day of the week they went to the tomb when the sun had risen.	2 A hét első napján korán reggel, amikor a nap felkelt, a sírhoz mentek.
3 And they were saying to one another, "Who will roll away the stone for us from the door of the tomb?"	3 Azt kérdezték egymástól: »Ki hengeríti el nekünk a követ a sírbolt ajtajából?«

5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, dressed in a white robe; and they were amazed.	5 Bementek a sírboltba. Jobbkéz felől egy ifjút láttak ülni hosszú fehér ruhába öltözve, és megrémültek.
6 And he said to them, "Do not be amazed; you seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen, he is not here; see the place where they laid him.	6 De az így szólt hozzájuk: »Ne féljetek! A megfeszített Názáreti Jézust keresitek? Feltámadt, nincs itt. Íme, itt a hely, ahová tették őt.
7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter that he is going before you to Galilee; there you will see him, as he told you."	7 Menjetek el, s mondjátok meg tanítványainak és Péternek: ‘Előttetek megy Galileába, ott majd meglátjátok őt, amint megmondta nektek.’«
8 And they went out and fled from the tomb; for trembling and astonishment had come upon them; and they said nothing to any one, for they were afraid.	8 Azok kimentek és elfutottak a sírtól, mert remegés és rémület fogta el őket, és nem mondtak senkinek semmit, mert féltek.
9 Now when he rose early on the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons.	9 Amikor a hét első napján reggel feltámadt, először Mária Magdolnának jelent meg, akiből hét ördögöt űzött ki.

16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.	16 Aki hisz és megkeresztelkedik, az üdvözül; aki pedig nem hisz, elkárhozik.
17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;	17 Azokat, akik hisznek, ezek a jelek fogják kísérni: a nevemben ördögöket űznek ki, új nyelveken szólnak,
18 they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will recover."	18 kígyókat vesznek fel, és ha valami halálosat isznak, nem árt nekik; a betegekre teszik kezüket, és azok meggyógyulnak.«
19 So then the Lord Jesus, after he had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God.	19 Az Úr Jézus, miután szólt hozzájuk, fölvétetett a mennybe, és ül az Istennek jobbja felől .
20 And they went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the message by the signs that attended it. Amen.	20 Azok pedig elmentek és hirdették az igét mindenütt. Az Úr velük együtt munkálkodott, s a tanítást az azt kísérő csodajelekkel megerősítette.
