Micah 3

1 And I said: Hear, you heads of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel! Is it not for you to know justice?--	1 Después dije: ¡Escuche, jefes de Jacob y magistrados de la casa de Israel! ¿No les corresponde a ustedes conocer el derecho,
2 you who hate the good and love the evil, who tear the skin from off my people, and their flesh from off their bones;	2 a ustedes, que odian el bien y aman el mal, que arrancan la piel de la gente y la carne de encima de sus huesos?
3 who eat the flesh of my people, and flay their skin from off them, and break their bones in pieces, and chop them up like meat in a kettle, like flesh in a caldron.	3 Ellos devoran la carne de mi pueblo, le arrancan la piel, le quiebran los huesos, lo despedazan como carne que se echa en la olla, como carne dentro de la caldera.
4 Then they will cry to the LORD, but he will not answer them; he will hide his face from them at that time, because they have made their deeds evil.	4 Entonces clamarán al Señor, pero él no les responderá. El les ocultará su rostro en ese tiempo por las malas acciones que han cometido.
5 Thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who lead my people astray, who cry "Peace" when they have something to eat, but declare war against him who puts nothing into their mouths.	5 Así habla el Señor contra los profetas que extravían a mi pueblo: Cuando sus dientes tienen algo que morder, ellos gritan: «¡Paz!». Pero al que no les llena la boca, le declaran la guerra santa.
6 Therefore it shall be night to you, without vision, and darkness to you, without divination. The sun shall go down upon the prophets, and the day shall be black over them;	6 Por eso, ustedes tendrán noches sin visiones, y tinieblas en vez de presagios. El sol se ocultará para los profetas y el día se les oscurecerá.
7 the seers shall be disgraced, and the diviners put to shame; they shall all cover their lips, for there is no answer from God.	7 Los videntes quedarán avergonzados y los adivinos serán confundidos. Todos se cubrirán la barba, porque no habrá respuesta de Dios.
8 But as for me, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the LORD, and with justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin.	8 Yo, en cambio, gracias al espíritu del Señor, estoy lleno de fuerza, de justicia y de coraje, para denunciar su rebeldía a Jacob y su pecado a Israel.
9 Hear this, you heads of the house of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel, who abhor justice and pervert all equity,	9 ¡Escuchen esto, jefes de la casa de Jacob y magistrados del pueblo de Israel, ustedes, que abominan la justicia y tergiversan el derecho,
10 who build Zion with blood and Jerusalem with wrong.	10 que edifican con sangre a Sión y a Jerusalén con injusticia!
11 Its heads give judgment for a bribe, its priests teach for hire, its prophets divine for money; yet they lean upon the LORD and say, "Is not the LORD in the midst of us? No evil shall come upon us."	11 Sus jueces juzgan por regalos, sus sacerdotes instruyen por un sueldo, sus profetas adivinan por dinero, y todavía se apoyan en el Señor, diciendo: «¿No está el Señor en medio de nosotros? ¡No nos puede pasar nada malo!».
12 Therefore because of you Zion shall be plowed as a field; Jerusalem shall become a heap of ruins, and the mountain of the house a wooded height.	12 Por eso, a causa de ustedes, Sión será un campo arado, Jerusalén, un montón de ruinas, y la montaña del Templo, una altura boscosa.
