1 These are the stages of the people of Israel, when they went forth out of the land of Egypt by their hosts under the leadership of Moses and Aaron.	1 אלה מסעי בני ישראל אשר יצאו מארץ מצרים לצבאתם ביד משה ואהרן
2 Moses wrote down their starting places, stage by stage, by command of the LORD; and these are their stages according to their starting places.	2 ויכתב משה את מוצאיהם למסעיהם על פי יהוה ואלה מסעיהם למוצאיהם
3 They set out from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the day after the passover the people of Israel went out triumphantly in the sight of all the Egyptians,	3 ויסעו מרעמסס בחדש הראשון בחמשה עשר יום לחדש הראשון ממחרת הפסח יצאו בני ישראל ביד רמה לעיני כל מצרים
4 while the Egyptians were burying all their first-born, whom the LORD had struck down among them; upon their gods also the LORD executed judgments.	4 ומצרים מקברים את אשר הכה יהוה בהם כל בכור ובאלהיהם עשה יהוה שפטים
5 So the people of Israel set out from Rameses, and encamped at Succoth.	5 ויסעו בני ישראל מרעמסס ויחנו בסכת
6 And they set out from Succoth, and encamped at Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness.	6 ויסעו מסכת ויחנו באתם אשר בקצה המדבר
7 And they set out from Etham, and turned back to Pi-hahiroth, which is east of Baal-zephon; and they encamped before Migdol.	7 ויסעו מאתם וישב על פי החירת אשר על פני בעל צפון ויחנו לפני מגדל
8 And they set out from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness, and they went a three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped at Marah.	8 ויסעו מפני החירת ויעברו בתוך הים המדברה וילכו דרך שלשת ימים במדבר אתם ויחנו במרה
9 And they set out from Marah, and came to Elim; at Elim there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they encamped there.	9 ויסעו ממרה ויבאו אילמה ובאילם שתים עשרה עינת מים ושבעים תמרים ויחנו שם
10 And they set out from Elim, and encamped by the Red Sea.	10 ויסעו מאילם ויחנו על ים סוף
11 And they set out from the Red Sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.	11 ויסעו מים סוף ויחנו במדבר סין
12 And they set out from the wilderness of Sin, and encamped at Dophkah.	12 ויסעו ממדבר סין ויחנו בדפקה
13 And they set out from Dophkah, and encamped at Alush.	13 ויסעו מדפקה ויחנו באלוש
14 And they set out from Alush, and encamped at Rephidim, where there was no water for the people to drink.	14 ויסעו מאלוש ויחנו ברפידם ולא היה שם מים לעם לשתות
15 And they set out from Rephidim, and encamped in the wilderness of Sinai.	15 ויסעו מרפידם ויחנו במדבר סיני
16 And they set out from the wilderness of Sinai, and encamped at Kibroth-hattaavah.	16 ויסעו ממדבר סיני ויחנו בקברת התאוה
17 And they set out from Kibroth-hattaavah, and encamped at Hazeroth.	17 ויסעו מקברת התאוה ויחנו בחצרת
18 And they set out from Hazeroth, and encamped at Rithmah.	18 ויסעו מחצרת ויחנו ברתמה
19 And they set out from Rithmah, and encamped at Rimmon-perez.	19 ויסעו מרתמה ויחנו ברמן פרץ
20 And they set out from Rimmon-perez, and encamped at Libnah.	20 ויסעו מרמן פרץ ויחנו בלבנה
21 And they set out from Libnah, and encamped at Rissah.	21 ויסעו מלבנה ויחנו ברסה
22 And they set out from Rissah, and encamped at Kehelathah.	22 ויסעו מרסה ויחנו בקהלתה
23 And they set out from Kehelathah, and encamped at Mount Shepher.	23 ויסעו מקהלתה ויחנו בהר שפר
24 And they set out from Mount Shepher, and encamped at Haradah.	24 ויסעו מהר שפר ויחנו בחרדה
25 And they set out from Haradah, and encamped at Makheloth.	25 ויסעו מחרדה ויחנו במקהלת
26 And they set out from Makheloth, and encamped at Tahath.	26 ויסעו ממקהלת ויחנו בתחת
27 And they set out from Tahath, and encamped at Terah.	27 ויסעו מתחת ויחנו בתרח
28 And they set out from Terah, and encamped at Mithkah.	28 ויסעו מתרח ויחנו במתקה
29 And they set out from Mithkah, and encamped at Hashmonah.	29 ויסעו ממתקה ויחנו בחשמנה
30 And they set out from Hashmonah, and encamped at Moseroth.	30 ויסעו מחשמנה ויחנו במסרות
31 And they set out from Moseroth, and encamped at Bene-jaakan.	31 ויסעו ממסרות ויחנו בבני יעקן
32 And they set out from Bene-jaakan, and encamped at Hor-haggidgad.	32 ויסעו מבני יעקן ויחנו בחר הגדגד
33 And they set out from Hor-haggidgad, and encamped at Jotbathah.	33 ויסעו מחר הגדגד ויחנו ביטבתה
34 And they set out from Jotbathah, and encamped at Abronah.	34 ויסעו מיטבתה ויחנו בעברנה
35 And they set out from Abronah, and encamped at Ezion-geber.	35 ויסעו מעברנה ויחנו בעציון גבר
36 And they set out from Ezion-geber, and encamped in the wilderness of Zin (that is, Kadesh).	36 ויסעו מעציון גבר ויחנו במדבר צן הוא קדש
37 And they set out from Kadesh, and encamped at Mount Hor, on the edge of the land of Edom.	37 ויסעו מקדש ויחנו בהר ההר בקצה ארץ אדום
38 And Aaron the priest went up Mount Hor at the command of the LORD, and died there, in the fortieth year after the people of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, on the first day of the fifth month.	38 ויעל אהרן הכהן אל הר ההר על פי יהוה וימת שם בשנת הארבעים לצאת בני ישראל מארץ מצרים בחדש החמישי באחד לחדש
39 And Aaron was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.	39 ואהרן בן שלש ועשרים ומאת שנה במתו בהר ההר
40 And the Canaanite, the king of Arad, who dwelt in the Negeb in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the people of Israel.	40 וישמע הכנעני מלך ערד והוא ישב בנגב בארץ כנען בבא בני ישראל
41 And they set out from Mount Hor, and encamped at Zalmonah.	41 ויסעו מהר ההר ויחנו בצלמנה
42 And they set out from Zalmonah, and encamped at Punon.	42 ויסעו מצלמנה ויחנו בפונן
43 And they set out from Punon, and encamped at Oboth.	43 ויסעו מפונן ויחנו באבת
44 And they set out from Oboth, and encamped at Iye-abarim, in the territory of Moab.	44 ויסעו מאבת ויחנו בעיי העברים בגבול מואב
45 And they set out from Iyim, and encamped at Dibon-gad.	45 ויסעו מעיים ויחנו בדיבן גד
46 And they set out from Dibon-gad, and encamped at Almon-diblathaim.	46 ויסעו מדיבן גד ויחנו בעלמן דבלתימה
47 And they set out from Almon-diblathaim, and encamped in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo.	47 ויסעו מעלמן דבלתימה ויחנו בהרי העברים לפני נבו
48 And they set out from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho;	48 ויסעו מהרי העברים ויחנו בערבת מואב על ירדן ירחו
49 they encamped by the Jordan from Beth-jeshimoth as far as Abel-shittim in the plains of Moab.	49 ויחנו על הירדן מבית הישמת עד אבל השטים בערבת מואב
50 And the LORD said to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho,	50 וידבר יהוה אל משה בערבת מואב על ירדן ירחו לאמר
51 "Say to the people of Israel, When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,	51 דבר אל בני ישראל ואמרת אלהם כי אתם עברים את הירדן אל ארץ כנען
52 then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured stones, and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places;	52 והורשתם את כל ישבי הארץ מפניכם ואבדתם את כל משכיתם ואת כל צלמי מסכתם תאבדו ואת כל במתם תשמידו
53 and you shall take possession of the land and settle in it, for I have given the land to you to possess it.	53 והורשתם את הארץ וישבתם בה כי לכם נתתי את הארץ לרשת אתה
54 You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to a large tribe you shall give a large inheritance, and to a small tribe you shall give a small inheritance; wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his; according to the tribes of your fathers you shall inherit.	54 והתנחלתם את הארץ בגורל למשפחתיכם לרב תרבו את נחלתו ולמעט תמעיט את נחלתו אל אשר יצא לו שמה הגורל לו יהיה למטות אבתיכם תתנחלו
55 But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those of them whom you let remain shall be as pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides, and they shall trouble you in the land where you dwell.	55 ואם לא תורישו את ישבי הארץ מפניכם והיה אשר תותירו מהם לשכים בעיניכם ולצנינם בצדיכם וצררו אתכם על הארץ אשר אתם ישבים בה
56 And I will do to you as I thought to do to them."	56 והיה כאשר דמיתי לעשות להם אעשה לכם
