1 In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city was conquered, on that very day, the hand of the LORD was upon me,	1 - Nell'anno ventesimoquinto del nostro esilio, ai dieci del mese nell'entrar dell'anno che era il quattordicesimo dopo l'espugnazione della città, in questo giorno la mano del Signore fu sopra di me e là mi trasportò.
2 and brought me in the visions of God into the land of Israel, and set me down upon a very high mountain, on which was a structure like a city opposite me.	2 In visione divina mi trasportò nella terra di Israele e mi depose sopra una montagna molto elevata su cui era una città situata in direzione del mezzogiorno.
3 When he brought me there, behold, there was a man, whose appearance was like bronze, with a line of flax and a measuring reed in his hand; and he was standing in the gateway.	3 Mi fece entrare dentro, ed ecco un uomo che dall'aspetto rassomigliava a bronzo splendente e aveva in mano una corda di filo di lino e una pertica di canna da misurare e stava sulla porta.
4 And the man said to me, "Son of man, look with your eyes, and hear with your ears, and set your mind upon all that I shall show you, for you were brought here in order that I might show it to you; declare all that you see to the house of Israel."	4 Si rivolse quest'uomo a me e mi disse: «Figlio dell'uomo, fissa i tuoi occhi e drizza gli orecchi e poni mente a tutto quello che ti mostrerò, perchè sei stato qui condotto per vedere delle cose che dovrai tutte annunziare alla casa di Israele». 5 And behold, there was a wall all around the outside of the temple area, and the length of the measuring reed in the man's hand was six long cubits, each being a cubit and a handbreadth in length; so he measured the thickness of the wall, one reed; and the height, one reed.	5 Ed ecco che vedo un muro esterno che attorniava tutto in giro l'edifizio, e in mano di quell'uomo la canna da misurare, lunga sei cubiti e un palmo; egli misurò lo spessore della muratura che era di una canna e l'altezza egualmente di una canna.
6 Then he went into the gateway facing east, going up its steps, and measured the threshold of the gate, one reed deep;	6 Poi venne al portone che prospettava in direzione dell'oriente e salì la scalinata e misurò il limitare della porta, largo una canna, cioè, uno dei limitari era largo una canna;
7 and the side rooms, one reed long, and one reed broad; and the space between the side rooms, five cubits; and the threshold of the gate by the vestibule of the gate at the inner end, one reed.	7 e misurò una camera che aveva una canna in lungo e una canna in largo e tra le camere uno spazio di cinque cubiti,
8 Then he measured the vestibule of the gateway, eight cubits;	8 e il limitare della porta dal lato del vestibolo della porta verso l'interno era di una canna.
9 and its jambs, two cubits; and the vestibule of the gate was at the inner end.	9 Poi misurò il vestibolo della porta che era di otto cubiti e i pilastri della facciata di due cubiti, perchè il vestibolo della porta era nell'interno.
10 And there were three side rooms on either side of the east gate; the three were of the same size; and the jambs on either side were of the same size.	10 Or le camere della porta orientale erano tre di qua e tre di là, tutte tre d'una misura, e i pilastri della facciata da ambo i lati erano d'una misura.
11 Then he measured the breadth of the opening of the gateway, ten cubits; and the breadth of the gateway, thirteen cubits.	11 E misurò la larghezza del vano della porta che era di dieci cubiti e la lunghezza della porta che era di tredici.
12 There was a barrier before the side rooms, one cubit on either side; and the side rooms were six cubits on either side.	12 E davanti le camere era un margine di un cubito, un cubito di margine da ogni lato e le camere erano di sei cubiti tanto di qua che di là.
13 Then he measured the gate from the back of the one side room to the back of the other, a breadth of five and twenty cubits, from door to door.	13 E misurò la porta dal tetto di una camera, al tetto della sua corrispondente, ed era di venticinque cubiti, essendo di rimpetto porta contro porta.
14 He measured also the vestibule, twenty cubits; and round about the vestibule of the gateway was the court.	14 E fece un calcolo dei pilastri della facciata, di sessanta cubiti d'altezza e ai pilastri giungeva il cortile che attorniava la porta.
15 From the front of the gate at the entrance to the end of the inner vestibule of the gate was fifty cubits.	15 Dalla facciata anteriore della porta per giungere alla facciata del vestibolo della porta interiore erano cinquanta cubiti.
16 And the gateway had windows round about, narrowing inwards into their jambs in the side rooms, and likewise the vestibule had windows round about inside, and on the jambs were palm trees.	16 Nelle camere e nei pilastri erano finestre oblique prospettanti al di dentro della porta dappertutto, similmente erano anche nei vestiboli finestre esterne tutt'intorno e sulla facciata dei pilastri disegni di palme.
17 Then he brought me into the outer court; and behold, there were chambers and a pavement, round about the court; thirty chambers fronted on the pavement.	17 Poi mi condusse nel cortile esteriore, ed ecco che vi erano delle sale e un pavimento lastricato di pietra per tutto il giro del cortile; trenta erano le sale intorno al cortile.
18 And the pavement ran along the side of the gates, corresponding to the length of the gates; this was the lower pavement.	18 Il pavimento di fronte alle porte che si spianava sulla linea delle porte era il più basso.
19 Then he measured the distance from the inner front of the lower gate to the outer front of the inner court, a hundred cubits. Then he went before me to the north,	19 E misurò la larghezza, dalla facciata della porta inferiore fino alla facciata esterna del cortile inferiore che era di cento cubiti a oriente e a settentrione.
20 and behold, there was a gate which faced toward the north, belonging to the outer court. He measured its length and its breadth.	20 Misurò anche la porta che prospettava dal lato di settentrione del cortile esteriore, tanto in lungo che in largo.
21 Its side rooms, three on either side, and its jambs and its vestibule were of the same size as those of the first gate; its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth twenty-five cubits.	21 Colle sue camere tre di qua e tre di là, e la sua facciata e il vestibolo, che avevano le stesse dimensioni della prima porta, per cinquanta cubiti in lunghezza e venticinque cubiti in larghezza.
22 And its windows, its vestibule, and its palm trees were of the same size as those of the gate which faced toward the east; and seven steps led up to it; and its vestibule was on the inside.	22 Le sue finestre ed il vestibolo e gl'intagli erano nella dimensione di quei della porta che prospettava ad oriente, e la gradinata aveva sette scalini e in faccia ad essi il vestibolo.
23 And opposite the gate on the north, as on the east, was a gate to the inner court; and he measured from gate to gate, a hundred cubits.	23 E il cortile interno aveva una porta di rimpetto alla porta settentrionale e una di rimpetto a quella orientale; e prese la misura da una porta all'altra che era di cento cubiti.
24 And he led me toward the south, and behold, there was a gate on the south; and he measured its jambs and its vestibule; they had the same size as the others.	24 Poi mi condusse dalla parte di mezzogiorno, ed ecco una porta che prospettava il mezzogiorno, e ne misurò la facciata e il vestibolo in dimensioni uguali alle antecedenti.
25 And there were windows round about in it and in its vestibule, like the windows of the others; its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth twenty-five cubits.	25 E misurò le sue finestre e i vestiboli, colle loro finestre tutto in giro, simili alle altre, sulla lunghezza di cinquanta cubiti e la larghezza di venticinque cubiti.
26 And there were seven steps leading up to it, and its vestibule was on the inside; and it had palm trees on its jambs, one on either side.	26 Vi si ascendeva per sette gradini e in faccia all'entrata era il vestibolo e nella sua facciata palme intagliate una di qua e una di là.
27 And there was a gate on the south of the inner court; and he measured from gate to gate toward the south, a hundred cubits.	27 Il cortile interiore aveva pure la sua porta da mezzogiorno, e la distanza da una porta all'altra porta misurava cento cubiti.
28 Then he brought me to the inner court by the south gate, and he measured the south gate; it was of the same size as the others;	28 Allora m'introdusse nel cortile inferiore per la porta di mezzogiorno e misurò la porta uguale nelle dimensioni alle precedenti,
29 Its side rooms, its jambs, and its vestibule were of the same size as the others; and there were windows round about in it and in its vestibule; its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth twenty-five cubits.	29 colle sue camere, i suoi pilastri in fronte e il suo vestibolo, tutti della sopra notata dimensione, avendo le proprie finestre e il vestibolo le sue, intorno per cinquanta cubiti di lunghezza e per venticinque di larghezza.
30 And there were vestibules round about, twenty-five cubits long and five cubits broad.	30 E un altro vestibolo che misurava venticinque cubiti di lunghezza e cinque cubiti in larghezza.
31 Its vestibule faced the outer court, and palm trees were on its jambs, and its stairway had eight steps.	31 E il vestibolo dava sul cortile esteriore e aveva le sue palme sulla facciata e otto gradini pei quali vi si accedeva.
32 Then he brought me to the inner court on the east side, and he measured the gate; it was of the same size as the others.	32 Poi m'introdusse nel cortile interiore, posto all'oriente, e misurò la porta che aveva le dimensioni delle precedenti.
33 Its side rooms, its jambs, and its vestibule were of the same size as the others; and there were windows round about in it and in its vestibule; its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth twenty-five cubits.	33 E le sue camere e i pilastri di fronte e il suo vestibolo come sopra, colle sue finestre e il vestibolo colle sue intorno, della lunghezza di cinquanta cubiti e di venticinque cubiti in larghezza.
34 Its vestibule faced the outer court, and it had palm trees on its jambs, one on either side; and its stairway had eight steps.	34 E il suo vestibolo, quel che dava, cioè, sul cortile esteriore, aveva palme intagliate nella facciata di qua e di là e di otto gradini era la sua scalinata.
35 Then he brought me to the north gate, and he measured it; it had the same size as the others.	35 Poi m'introdusse alla porta che prospettava verso il settentrione e la misurò nelle dimensioni uguali alle precedenti.
36 Its side rooms, its jambs, and its vestibule were of the same size as the others; and it had windows round about; its length was fifty cubits, and its breadth twenty-five cubits.	36 Le sue camere, i pilastri di fronte e il suo vestibolo e le sue finestre tutt'intorno, per cinquanta cubiti di lunghezza e venticinque cubiti di larghezza.
37 Its vestibule faced the outer court, and it had palm trees on its jambs, one on either side; and its stairway had eight steps.	37 E il suo vestibolo che metteva nel cortile esteriore e gl'intagli delle palme nella sua facciata di qua e di là e gli otto gradini della sua scalinata.
38 There was a chamber with its door in the vestibule of the gate, where the burnt offering was to be washed.	38 Alle varie sale l'entrata era nella facciata delle porte, là dentro lavavano gli olocausti.
39 And in the vestibule of the gate were two tables on either side, on which the burnt offering and the sin offering and the guilt offering were to be slaughtered.	39 E nel vestibolo della porta erano collocate due mense di qua e due mense di là, nelle quali si riponeva l'olocausto che s'immolava pel peccato e pel delitto.
40 And on the outside of the vestibule at the entrance of the north gate were two tables; and on the other side of the vestibule of the gate were two tables.	40 Ai lati esterni, per dove si accedeva all'entrata della porta prospettante il settentrione erano due mense e all'altro lato, davanti al vestibolo della porta, due altre mense.
41 Four tables were on the inside, and four tables on the outside of the side of the gate, eight tables, on which the sacrifices were to be slaughtered.	41 Quattro mense di qua e quattro mense di là ai fianchi della porta, cioè, otto mense sulle quali immolavano.
42 And there were also four tables of hewn stone for the burnt offering, a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high, on which the instruments were to be laid with which the burnt offerings and the sacrifices were slaughtered.	42 Quattro altre mense per gli olocausti erano costrutte di pietre riquadrate della lunghezza di un cubito e mezzo e della larghezza di un cubito e mezzo e un cubito alte, sulle quali tenevano disposti gli strumenti che si adoperavano per immolare l'olocausto e la vittima.
43 And hooks, a handbreadth long, were fastened round about within. And on the tables the flesh of the offering was to be laid.	43 Avevano un labbro prominente, alto un palmo e ripiegato in dentro tutto intorno, e sopra le mense si ponevano le carni destinate in sacrificio.
44 Then he brought me from without into the inner court, and behold, there were two chambers in the inner court, one at the side of the north gate facing south, the other at the side of the south gate facing north.	44 Al di fuori della porta interiore erano le sale dei cantori nel cortile interiore che si estendeva a lato della porta prospettante il settentrione, e avevano le loro facciate in direzione del mezzogiorno, e un'altra a lato della porta orientale in direzione del settentrione.
45 And he said to me, This chamber which faces south is for the priests who have charge of the temple,	45 E mi disse: «Questa sala che prospetta dalla parte di mezzogiorno, sarà dei sacerdoti che vegliano a guardia del tempio.
46 and the chamber which faces north is for the priests who have charge of the altar; these are the sons of Zadok, who alone among the sons of Levi may come near to the LORD to minister to him.	46 E la sala che guarda l'aquilone sarà dei sacerdoti che vegliano al ministero dell'altare; questi sono i figli di Sadoc, i soli che si accostano, tra i figli di Levi, al Signore per esercitare il ministero verso di lui».
47 And he measured the court, a hundred cubits long, and a hundred cubits broad, foursquare; and the altar was in front of the temple.	47 Poi misurò il cortile, che aveva cento cubiti di lunghezza e cento cubiti di larghezza in quadro. L'altare era in faccia al tempio.
48 Then he brought me to the vestibule of the temple and measured the jambs of the vestibule, five cubits on either side; and the breadth of the gate was fourteen cubits; and the sidewalls of the gate were three cubits on either side.	48 Allora m'introdusse nel vestibolo del tempio e ne misurò il vestibolo, cinque cubiti di qua e cinque cubiti di là e la larghezza della porta, tre cubiti di qua e tre cubiti di là.
49 The length of the vestibule was twenty cubits, and the breadth twelve cubits; and ten steps led up to it; and there were pillars beside the jambs on either side.	49 La lunghezza del vestibolo era di venti cubiti e la larghezza di undici cubiti e vi si montava per otto gradini. E nella facciata vi erano colonne, una da una parte e una dall'altra.
