Ezekiel 32

1 In the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me:	1 - E avvenne nell'anno duodecimo, nel duodecimo mese, il primo del mese, che il Signore mi comunicò la sua parola dicendo:
2 "Son of man, raise a lamentation over Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say to him: "You consider yourself a lion among the nations, but you are like a dragon in the seas; you burst forth in your rivers, trouble the waters with your feet, and foul their rivers.	2 «Figlio dell'uomo, intona una lamentazione sopra Faraone re di Egitto e gli dirai: - Al leone delle nazioni tu rassomigliavi, a uno di quei mostri che sono nel mare, e agitavi la cresta dentro ai tuoi fiumi, intorbidavi le acque colle tue zampe e calpestavi le loro onde -».
3 Thus says the Lord GOD: I will throw my net over you with a host of many peoples; and I will haul you up in my dragnet.	3 Per questo, così dice il Signore Dio: «Stenderò sopra di te la mia rete, una moltitudine di popoli numerosi, e ti trascinerò fuori colla mia rete
4 And I will cast you on the ground, on the open field I will fling you, and will cause all the birds of the air to settle on you, and I will gorge the beasts of the whole earth with you.	4 e ti getterò sulla terra! Sulla faccia del suolo ti stramazzerò, e farò posare su di te tutti i volatili del cielo e ne saturerò le bestie di tutta la terra.
5 I will strew your flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with your carcass.	5 Ed esporrò le tue carni sopra i monti, e riempirò i tuoi colli delle tue marcite membra.
6 I will drench the land even to the mountains with your flowing blood; and the watercourses will be full of you.	6 Innaffierò la terra del tuo fetido sangue fin sulle montagne e le valli saranno piene dei tuoi resti.
7 When I blot you out, I will cover the heavens, and make their stars dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give its light.	7 E spento che sarai, velerò il cielo e abbuierò le sue stelle; coprirò di una nube il sole e la luna più non darà la sua luce.
8 All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over you, and put darkness upon your land, says the Lord GOD.	8 Tutti i luminari del cielo metterò a lutto per te e stenderò le tenebre sopra la tua terra, dice il Signore Dio. [Quando i tuoi cascheranno trafitti in mezzo alla terra, dice il Signore Dio].
9 "I will trouble the hearts of many peoples, when I carry you captive among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.	9 E il cuore di molti popoli metterò in apprensione, quando farò pervenire a notizia la tua catastrofe fra le genti, in paesi che tu non conosci.
10 I will make many peoples appalled at you, and their kings shall shudder because of you, when I brandish my sword before them; they shall tremble every moment, every one for his own life, on the day of your downfall.	10 E farò restare sbigottiti per te molti popoli e i loro re saranno in gran presentimento di terrore sulla tua sorte, quando la mia spada volteggerà sopra le loro facce e ciascuno sarà in subitaneo sgomento di se stesso, nel giorno della tua rovina».
11 For thus says the Lord GOD: The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you.	11 Perchè così dice il Signore Dio: «La spada del re di Babilonia ti raggiungerà,
12 I will cause your multitude to fall by the swords of mighty ones, all of them most terrible among the nations. "They shall bring to nought the pride of Egypt, and all its multitude shall perish.	12 prostrerò il tuo stuolo colle armi dei forti di tutte queste invincibili nazioni. E fiaccheranno la superbia di Egitto e dissiperanno la sua moltitudine.
13 I will destroy all its beasts from beside many waters; and no foot of man shall trouble them any more, nor shall the hoofs of beasts trouble them.	13 E sterminerò tutti quei suoi giumenti che stanno in riva alle molte acque; più non le turberà piede umano, nè unghia di giumento le intorbiderà.
14 Then I will make their waters clear, and cause their rivers to run like oil, says the Lord GOD.	14 Allora renderò limpidissime le loro acque e farò scorrere i loro fiumi come un olio, dice il Signore Dio,
15 When I make the land of Egypt desolate and when the land is stripped of all that fills it, when I smite all who dwell in it, then they will know that I am the LORD.	15 quando avrò messo il suolo d'Egitto nella desolazione e la terra sarà rimasta spoglia di tutto quello che contiene; percossi che saranno tutti i suoi abitanti, conosceranno che io sono il Signore.
16 This is a lamentation which shall be chanted; the daughters of the nations shall chant it; over Egypt, and over all her multitude, shall they chant it, says the Lord GOD."	16 È una lamentazione e la diranno in suono di lamento. Le figlie delle genti ne faranno il loro lamento sopra l'Egitto e sopra la sua moltitudine. Ne faranno il loro lamento», dice il Signore.
17 In the twelfth year, in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the month, the word of the LORD came to me:	17 E avvenne nell'anno duodecimo, ai quindici del mese, che il Signore mi comunicò la sua parola dicendo:
18 "Son of man, wail over the multitude of Egypt, and send them down, her and the daughters of majestic nations, to the nether world, to those who have gone down to the Pit:	18 «Figlio dell'uomo, intona un flebile canto sopra la moltitudine d'Egitto; falla discendere essa e le figlie delle robuste genti nel mondo inferiore in compagnia di quei che scendono nella fossa.
19 'Whom do you surpass in beauty? Go down, and be laid with the uncircumcised.'	19 Sei tu più bello degli altri? scendi e giaci in compagnia degli incirconcisi.
20 They shall fall amid those who are slain by the sword, and with her shall lie all her multitudes.	20 In mezzo agli uccisi di spada cadranno, la spada fu consegnata, trassero a morte la nazione di Egitto e tutta la sua gente.
21 The mighty chiefs shall speak of them, with their helpers, out of the midst of Sheol: 'They have come down, they lie still, the uncircumcised, slain by the sword.'	21 E in mezzo al mondo inferiore gli volgeranno la parola i più potenti campioni che cogli ausiliari di lui laggiù son discesi e giacciono cogli incirconcisi periti di spada.
22 "Assyria is there, and all her company, their graves round about her, all of them slain, fallen by the sword;	22 Là è Assur e tutta la sua gente, coi propri sepolcri in cerchio attorno a lui, tutti uccisi, caduti sotto la spada
23 whose graves are set in the uttermost parts of the Pit, and her company is round about her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who spread terror in the land of the living.	23 a cui furon dati sepolcri nel più profondo della fossa. Il suo stuolo se ne sta al suo sepolcro in giro, tutti uccisi, caduti sotto la spada con cui altre volte avevano incusso terrore nella terra dei viventi.
24 "Elam is there, and all her multitude about her grave; all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who went down uncircumcised into the nether world, who spread terror in the land of the living, and they bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit.	24 Là è Elam e tutta la sua gente intorno al suo sepolcro, tutti uccisi stramazzati colla spada, anche essi incirconcisi scesero nel mondo inferiore. Aveano sparso il loro terrore nella terra dei viventi, e discesero, portando la loro ignominia, con quei che scendono nella fossa.
25 They have made her a bed among the slain with all her multitude, their graves round about her, all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; for terror of them was spread in the land of the living, and they bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit; they are placed among the slain.	25 In mezzo agli altri uccisi, posero il loro giaciglio con tutta la sua gente che intorno a lui ha il suo sepolcro, tutti incirconcisi estinti dalla spada. Sparsero il loro terrore nella terra dei viventi e trapassarono portando la loro ignominia, con quei che scendono nella fossa, collocati anch'essi in mezzo agli altri uccisi.
26 "Meshech and Tubal are there, and all their multitude, their graves round about them, all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword; for they spread terror in the land of the living.	26 Là è Mosoc e Tubal e tutta la lor gente che ha i propri sepolcri a essi intorno, tutti incirconcisi estinti dalla spada, che avevano sparso il lor terrore nella terra dei viventi.
27 And they do not lie with the fallen mighty men of old who went down to Sheol with their weapons of war, whose swords were laid under their heads, and whose shields are upon their bones; for the terror of the mighty men was in the land of the living.	27 Non dormiranno il sonno della morte coi forti, cogl'incirconcisi che soccombettero, che scesero armati nel mondo inferiore e deposero le spade sotto alle proprie teste, le loro iniquità restarono sulle loro ossa perchè furono il terrore dei forti nella terra dei viventi.
28 So you shall be broken and lie among the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword.	28 Anche tu in mezzo agli incirconcisi sarai schiacciato e dormirai il sonno della morte cogli uccisi di spada.
29 "Edom is there, her kings and all her princes, who for all their might are laid with those who are slain by the sword; they lie with the uncircumcised, with those who go down to the Pit.	29 Là è l'Idumea e i suoi re e i suoi duci, che con le loro forze han subìto la sorte degli uccisi di spada e ora dormono cogl'incirconcisi e con quei che scendono nella fossa.
30 "The princes of the north are there, all of them, and all the Sidonians, who have gone down in shame with the slain, for all the terror which they caused by their might; they lie uncircumcised with those who are slain by the sword, and bear their shame with those who go down to the Pit.	30 Là sono i principi dell'aquilone tutti insieme, e tutti i cacciatori calati giù cogli altri estinti, tremanti e confusi della lor passata fortezza; incirconcisi giacciono con quei che soccombettero alla spada, e la loro confusione portarono al di là, con quei che scendono nella fossa.
31 "When Pharaoh sees them, he will comfort himself for all his multitude, Pharaoh and all his army, slain by the sword, says the Lord GOD.	31 Faraone li ha veduti e si è consolato per tutta la sua moltitudine che è stata colpita a morte dalla spada; Faraone e tutta la sua armata, dice il Signore Dio.
32 For he spread terror in the land of the living; therefore he shall be laid among the uncircumcised, with those who are slain by the sword, Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord GOD."	32 Ho sparso, diceva, il mio terrore nella terra dei viventi; e ora si è assopito in mezzo agl'incirconcisi, con quei che furono trafitti dalla spada; Faraone e tutta la sua moltitudine», dice il Signore Dio.
