Leviticus 9

1 On the eighth day Moses called Aaron and his sons and the elders of Israel;	1 Venuto poi l'ottavo giorno, Mosè chiamò Aronne, e i suoi figliuoli, e gli anziani d’Israele, e disse ad Aronne:
2 and he said to Aaron, "Take a bull calf for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering, both without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.	2 Prendi dall’armento un vitello (da offerire) per il peccato e un ariete in olocausto; ambedue sieno senza macchia, e offeriscigli dinanzi al Signore.
3 And say to the people of Israel, 'Take a male goat for a sin offering, and a calf and a lamb, both a year old without blemish, for a burnt offering,	3 E dirai a’ figliuoli d'Israele: Prendete un ariete per il peccato, e un vitello, e un agnello dell'anno, e senza macchia per fare olocausto,
4 and an ox and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD, and a cereal offering mixed with oil; for today the LORD will appear to you.'"	4 Un bue, e un ariete per ostia pacifica, e immolateli dinanzi al Signore, offerendo nel sacrifizio di ognun di questi della farina aspersa con olio: imperocché oggi il Signore vi apparirà.
5 And they brought what Moses commanded before the tent of meeting; and all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD.	5 Presentarono adunque tutte le cose ordinate da Mosè alla porta del tabernacolo: e stando ivi presente tutta la moltitudine,
6 And Moses said, "This is the thing which the LORD commanded you to do; and the glory of the LORD will appear to you."	6 Disse Mosè: Questo è il comandamento che ha dato il Signore: eseguitelo, e la maestà di lui si farà a voi vedere.
7 Then Moses said to Aaron, "Draw near to the altar, and offer your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself and for the people; and bring the offering of the people, and make atonement for them; as the LORD has commanded."	7 E disse ad Aronne: Accostati all'altare, e fa il sacrifizio pel tuo peccato: offerisci l’olocausto, e fa orazione per te, e pel popolo: e scannata che avrai l'ostia del popolo, fa orazione per esso, come ha ordinato il Signore.
8 So Aaron drew near to the altar, and killed the calf of the sin offering, which was for himself.	8 E immediatamente Aronne appressatosi all’altare immolò il vitello pel suo peccato:
9 And the sons of Aaron presented the blood to him, and he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar;	9 E avendogliene i figliuoli di lui presentato il sangue, intinse in esso il dito, e toccò i corni dell'altare, e versò il rimanente appiè dello stesso altare:
10 but the fat and the kidneys and the appendage of the liver from the sin offering he burned upon the altar, as the LORD commanded Moses.	10 E messe nel fuoco sull'altare il grasso, i reni, e la rete del fegato dell'ostia per il peccato, conforme aveva ordinato il Signore a Mosè:
11 The flesh and the skin he burned with fire outside the camp.	11 La carne poi e la pelle l’abbruciò egli nel fuoco fuora dell'accampamento.
12 And he killed the burnt offering; and Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, and he threw it on the altar round about.	12 Immolò parimente la vittima dell'olocausto, e i suoi figliuoli gliene presentarono il sangue, cui egli sparse intorno all’altare.
13 And they delivered the burnt offering to him, piece by piece, and the head; and he burned them upon the altar.	13 Gli porsero eziandio l’ostia fatta in pezzi col capo, e con tutte le membra: e ogni cosa abbruciò egli nel fuoco sopra l'altare,
14 And he washed the entrails and the legs, and burned them with the burnt offering on the altar.	14 Avendone prima lavati coll’acqua gl’intestini e i piedi.
15 Then he presented the people's offering, and took the goat of the sin offering which was for the people, and killed it, and offered it for sin, like the first sin offering.	15 Egli scannò anche un ariete, e l’offerse pel peccato del popolo: ed espiato l’altare,
16 And he presented the burnt offering, and offered it according to the ordinance.	16 Fece l’olocausto,
17 And he presented the cereal offering, and filled his hand from it, and burned it upon the altar, besides the burnt offering of the morning.	17 Aggiunte al sacrifizio le libagioni, che si offeriscono insieme, e le fece bruciar sull'altare senza pregiudizio dell’olocausto del mattino.
18 He killed the ox also and the ram, the sacrifice of peace offerings for the people; and Aaron's sons delivered to him the blood, which he threw upon the altar round about,	18 Immolò anche il bue, e l'ariete, ostie pacifiche del popolo: e i suoi figliuoli gliene presentarono il sangue, il quale egli versò sull'altare in ogni parte.
19 and the fat of the ox and of the ram, the fat tail, and that which covers the entrails, and the kidneys, and the appendage of the liver;	19 E il grasso del bue, e la coda dell'ariete, e i reni col foro grasso, e la rete del fegato
20 and they put the fat upon the breasts, and he burned the fat upon the altar,	20 La posero sopra i petti (delle ostie): e bruciato che fu tutto il grasso sopra l'altare,
21 but the breasts and the right thigh Aaron waved for a wave offering before the LORD; as Moses commanded.	21 Aronne mise a parte i petti, e le spalle destre, elevandole davanti al Signore, come aveva ordinato Mosè:
22 Then Aaron lifted up his hands toward the people and blessed them; and he came down from offering the sin offering and the burnt offering and the peace offerings.	22 E stesa la mano verso del popolo lo benedisse. E avendo in tal guisa compiuto il sacrifizio per il peccato, e l'olocausto, e l'obblazione dell'ostie pacifiche, discese.
23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tent of meeting; and when they came out they blessed the people, and the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people.	23 Ed essendo Mosè ed Aronne entrati nel tabernacolo del testimonio, ed essendone poscia usciti benedissero il popolo. E la gloria del Signore si fé vedere a tutta la moltitudine:
24 And fire came forth from before the LORD and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar; and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.	24 E repentinamente una fiamma, che veniva dal Signore, divorò l'olocausto, e il grasso tutto, che era sull'altare. La qual cosa avendo veduto il popolo, diede lode al Signore, prostratosi boccone per terra.
