1 The LORD reigns; he is robed in majesty; the LORD is robed, he is girded with strength. Yea, the world is established; it shall never be moved;	1 IL Signore regna; egli è vestito di maestà; Il Signore è vestito e cinto di forza; Il mondo eziandio è stabilito, e non sarà giammai smosso.
2 thy throne is established from of old; thou art from everlasting.	2 Il tuo trono è fermo da tutta eternità; Tu sei ab eterno.
3 The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice, the floods lift up their roaring.	3 I fiumi hanno alzato, o Signore, I fiumi hanno alzato il lor suono; I fiumi hanno alzate le loro onde;
4 Mightier than the thunders of many waters, mightier than the waves of the sea, the LORD on high is mighty!	4 Ma il Signore, che è disopra, È più potente che il suono delle grandi acque, Che le possenti onde del mare.
5 Thy decrees are very sure; holiness befits thy house, O LORD, for evermore.	5 Le tue testimonianze son sommamente veraci, o Signore; La santità è bella nella tua Casa in perpetuo
