1 To the choirmaster. A Song. A Psalm. Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth;	1 A karvezetőnek. Ének. Zsoltár. Ujjongjatok az Istennek, minden földek,
2 sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise!	2 mondjatok nevének éneket, dicsőségét dicsérve zengjétek.
3 Say to God, "How terrible are thy deeds! So great is thy power that thy enemies cringe before thee.	3 Mondjátok Istennek: »Milyen félelmetesek műveid, hatalmad nagysága miatt ellenségeid hízelegnek neked.
4 All the earth worships thee; they sing praises to thee, sing praises to thy name." [Selah]	4 Az egész föld imádjon és dicsérjen téged, zengjen nevednek dicséretet.«
5 Come and see what God has done: he is terrible in his deeds among men.	5 Jöjjetek és lássátok az Úr tetteit, félelmetes, amit végbevitt az emberek fiai közt.
6 He turned the sea into dry land; men passed through the river on foot. There did we rejoice in him,	6 Szárazfölddé változtatta a tengert, gyalog keltek át a folyóvízen; Örvendeztünk akkor benne.
7 who rules by his might for ever, whose eyes keep watch on the nations-- let not the rebellious exalt themselves. [Selah]	7 Uralkodik hatalmával örökre, szemmel tartja a nemzeteket, hogy fel ne fuvalkodjanak magukban a lázongók.
8 Bless our God, O peoples, let the sound of his praise be heard,	8 Áldjátok Istenünket, ti nemzetek, hallassátok dicséretének szavát;
9 who has kept us among the living, and has not let our feet slip.	9 Ő adott életet lelkünknek, és nem hagyta meginogni lábunkat.
10 For thou, O God, hast tested us; thou hast tried us as silver is tried.	10 Mert próbára tettél minket, Isten, megvizsgáltál minket tűzzel, mint ahogy az ezüstöt vizsgálják.
11 Thou didst bring us into the net; thou didst lay affliction on our loins;	11 Tőrbe is vezettél, nyomorúságot tettél hátunkra.
12 thou didst let men ride over our heads; we went through fire and through water; yet thou hast brought us forth to a spacious place.	12 Engedted, hogy emberek gázoljanak a fejünkön, tűzön és vízen mentünk keresztül, de te kivezettél minket az enyhülésre.
13 I will come into thy house with burnt offerings; I will pay thee my vows,	13 Égő áldozatokkal jövök házadba; Megadom neked, amiket fogadtam,
14 that which my lips uttered and my mouth promised when I was in trouble.	14 amit megígért ajkam, amit szám fogadott nyomorúságomban.
15 I will offer to thee burnt offerings of fatlings, with the smoke of the sacrifice of rams; I will make an offering of bulls and goats. [Selah]	15 Kövér égőáldozatokat mutatok be neked; Jóillatú áldozatul kosokat mutatok be neked, bikákat és kecskebakokat.
16 Come and hear, all you who fear God, and I will tell what he has done for me.	16 Ti mind, akik félitek Istent, jöjjetek, halljátok, elbeszélem, milyen nagy dolgokat cselekedett velem!
17 I cried aloud to him, and he was extolled with my tongue.	17 Számmal hozzá kiáltoztam, nyelvemmel őt magasztaltam.
18 If I had cherished iniquity in my heart, the Lord would not have listened.	18 Ha gonoszság lett volna szívemben, az Úr nem hallgatott volna meg.
19 But truly God has listened; he has given heed to the voice of my prayer.	19 Ám Isten meghallgatott engem, figyelembe vette hangos könyörgésemet.
20 Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me!	20 Áldott az Isten, aki nem vetette el imámat, s nem vonta meg irgalmasságát tőlem.
