1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want;	1 Salmo. Di Davide.Il Signore è il mio pastore:non manco di nulla.
2 he makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters;	2 Su pascoli erbosi mi fa riposare,ad acque tranquille mi conduce.
3 he restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.	3 Rinfranca l’anima mia,mi guida per il giusto camminoa motivo del suo nome.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.	4 Anche se vado per una valle oscura,non temo alcun male, perché tu sei con me.Il tuo bastone e il tuo vincastromi danno sicurezza.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies; thou anointest my head with oil, my cup overflows.	5 Davanti a me tu prepari una mensasotto gli occhi dei miei nemici.Ungi di olio il mio capo;il mio calice trabocca.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.	6 Sì, bontà e fedeltà mi saranno compagnetutti i giorni della mia vita,abiterò ancora nella casa del Signoreper lunghi giorni.
