Exodus 31

1 The LORD said to Moses,	1 E favello lo Signore a Moisè, dicendo:
2 "See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:	2 Ecco ch' io chiamai del nome di Beseleel, figliuolo di Uri figliuolo di Ur, della schiatta di Giuda.
3 and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and intelligence, with knowledge and all craftsmanship,	3 E riempie' lui dello spirito ili Dio, di sapienza e d'intendimento e di scienza in ogni lavorio
4 to devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze,	4 a fare di fabbrica, cioè che fare si puote d'oro e d'ariento e di rame,
5 in cutting stones for setting, and in carving wood, for work in every craft.	5 di marmo e di gemme e di diversitadi di legno.
6 And behold, I have appointed with him Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have given to all able men ability, that they may make all that I have commanded you:	6 Ed hogli dato per compagno Ooliab, figliuolo di Achisamec della schiatta di Dan; e nel cuore di ogni ammaestrato uomo ho posto la sapienza, acciò che facciano ogni cosa ch' io ti ho comandato;
7 the tent of meeting, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereon, and all the furnishings of the tent,	7 lo tabernacolo del patto e l'arca della testimonianza, e lo propiziatorio ch' è sopra quella, e tutte le vasella del tabernacolo,
8 the table and its utensils, and the pure lampstand with all its utensils, and the altar of incense,	8 e lo candeliere purissimo colli vaselli suoi, e l'altare del timiama
9 and the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils, and the laver and its base,	9 e del sacrificio, e tutti li vaselli loro, e lo vase colla base sua,
10 and the finely worked garments, the holy garments for Aaron the priest and the garments of his sons, for their service as priests,	10 e le vestimenta sante in ministerio di Aaron sacerdote e de li figliuoli suoi, acciò che usino l'officio suo nelle cose sacre,
11 and the anointing oil and the fragrant incense for the holy place. According to all that I have commanded you they shall do."	11 l'olio dell' unzione, e lo timiama dell' erbe odorifere nel santuario. Ogni cosa, ch' io ho comandato a te, faranno.
12 And the LORD said to Moses,	12 Favelló lo Signore a Moisè, dicendo:
13 "Say to the people of Israel, 'You shall keep my sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I, the LORD, sanctify you.	13 Favella alli figliuoli d'Israel, e dirai a loro: vedete che lo sabbato mio guardate, perciò che è segnale intra me e voi nelle generazioni vostre; e sappiate perciò, ch' io sono lo Signore che santifico voi.
14 You shall keep the sabbath, because it is holy for you; every one who profanes it shall be put to death; whoever does any work on it, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.	14 E guardate lo sabbato mio, che in verità santo è a voi; e chi corromperà quello, di morte sarà morto; chi farà opera in quello, perirà l'anima sua del mezzo del popolo suo.
15 Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the LORD; whoever does any work on the sabbath day shall be put to death.	15 Sei di voi lavorerete; nel settimo dì è lo sabbato, nel quale fu lo riposo santo al Signore; chiunque farà lavorio in questo dì, morrà.
16 Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the sabbath, observing the sabbath throughout their generations, as a perpetual covenant.	16 Guardino dunque li figliuoli d'Israel lo sabbato, e celebrino quello nelle generazioni loro. Patto sempiterno è
17 It is a sign for ever between me and the people of Israel that in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.'"	17 intra me e li figliuoli d'Israel, in segno perpetuo: certo in sei dì fece Iddio lo cielo e la terra, e lo settimo dallo lavoro si cessò.
18 And he gave to Moses, when he had made an end of speaking with him upon Mount Sinai, the two tables of the testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.	18 E diede lo Signore a Moisè, compiuti li sermoni in questo modo nel monte Sinai, due tavole di pietre del testimonio, iscritte collo dito di Dio.
