1 "You shall make an altar to burn incense upon; of acacia wood shall you make it.	1 Harás también un altar para quemar el incienso. De madera de acacia lo harás.
2 A cubit shall be its length, and a cubit its breadth; it shall be square, and two cubits shall be its height; its horns shall be of one piece with it.	2 Será cuadrado: de un codo de largo y otro de ancho; su altura será de dos codos. Sus cuernos formarán un solo cuerpo con él.
3 And you shall overlay it with pure gold, its top and its sides round about and its horns; and you shall make for it a molding of gold round about.	3 Lo revestirás de oro puro, tanto su parte superior como sus costados, así como sus cuernos. Pondrás en su derredor una moldura de oro,
4 And two golden rings shall you make for it; under its molding on two opposite sides of it shall you make them, and they shall be holders for poles with which to carry it.	4 y debajo de la moldura, a los costados, harás dos anillas. Las harás a ambos lados, para meter por ellas los varales con que transportarlo.
5 You shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.	5 Harás los varales de madera de acacia y los revestirás de oro.
6 And you shall put it before the veil that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with you.	6 Colocarás el altar delante del velo que está junto al arca del Testimonio y ante el propiciatorio que cubre el Testimonio, donde yo me encontraré contigo.
7 And Aaron shall burn fragrant incense on it; every morning when he dresses the lamps he shall burn it,	7 Aarón quemará en él incienso aromático; lo quemará todas la mañanas, al preparar las lámparas,
8 and when Aaron sets up the lamps in the evening, he shall burn it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.	8 y lo quemará también cuando al atardecer alimente las lámparas. Será incienso continuo ante Yahveh, de generación en generación.
9 You shall offer no unholy incense thereon, nor burnt offering, nor cereal offering; and you shall pour no libation thereon.	9 No ofrezcáis sobre él incienso profano, ni holocausto ni oblación, ni derraméis sobre él libación alguna.
10 Aaron shall make atonement upon its horns once a year; with the blood of the sin offering of atonement he shall make atonement for it once in the year throughout your generations; it is most holy to the LORD."	10 Aarón una vez al año hará expiación sobre los cuernos de este altar. Con la sangre del sacrificio por el pecado, es decir, el de la expiación, una vez cada año hará expiación por él en vuestras sucesivas generaciones. Cosa sacratísima es el altar en honor de Yahveh.
11 The LORD said to Moses,	11 Habló Yahveh a Moisés, diciendo:
12 "When you take the census of the people of Israel, then each shall give a ransom for himself to the LORD when you number them, that there be no plague among them when you number them.	12 Cuando cuentes el número de los israelitas para hacer su censo, cada uno pagará a Yahveh el rescate por su vida al ser empadronado, para que no haya plaga entre ellos con motivo del empadronamiento.
13 Each who is numbered in the census shall give this: half a shekel according to the shekel of the sanctuary (the shekel is twenty gerahs), half a shekel as an offering to the LORD.	13 Esto es lo que ha de dar cada uno de los comprendidos en el censo: medio siclo, en siclos del Santuario. Este siclo es de veinte óbolos. El tributo reservado a Yahveh es medio siclo.
14 Every one who is numbered in the census, from twenty years old and upward, shall give the LORD's offering.	14 Todos los comprendidos en el censo, de veinte años en adelante, pagarán el tributo reservado a Yahveh.
15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less, than the half shekel, when you give the LORD's offering to make atonement for yourselves.	15 El rico no dará más, ni el pobre menos del medio siclo, al pagar el tributo a Yahveh como rescate de vuestras vidas.
16 And you shall take the atonement money from the people of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the tent of meeting; that it may bring the people of Israel to remembrance before the LORD, so as to make atonement for yourselves."	16 Tomarás el dinero del rescate de parte de los israelitas, y lo darás para el servicio de la Tienda del Encuentro; y será para los israelitas como recordatorio ante Yahveh por el rescate de sus vidas.
17 The LORD said to Moses,	17 Habló Yahveh a Moisés, diciendo:
18 "You shall also make a laver of bronze, with its base of bronze, for washing. And you shall put it between the tent of meeting and the altar, and you shall put water in it,	18 Haz una pila de bronce, con su base de bronce, para las abluciones. Colócala entre la Tienda del Encuentro y el altar, y echa agua en ella,
19 with which Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet.	19 para que Aarón y sus hijos se laven las manos y los pies con su agua.
20 When they go into the tent of meeting, or when they come near the altar to minister, to burn an offering by fire to the LORD, they shall wash with water, lest they die.	20 Antes de entrar en la Tienda del Encuentro se han de lavar con agua para que no mueran; también antes de acercarse al altar para el ministerio de quemar los manjares que se abrasan en honor de Yahveh.
21 They shall wash their hands and their feet, lest they die: it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his descendants throughout their generations."	21 Se lavarán las manos y los pies, y no morirán. Este será decreto perpetuo para ellos, para Aarón y su posteridad, de generación en generación.
22 Moreover, the LORD said to Moses,	22 Habló Yahveh a Moisés, diciendo:
23 "Take the finest spices: of liquid myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet-smelling cinnamon half as much, that is, two hundred and fifty, and of aromatic cane two hundred and fifty,	23 Toma tú aromas escogidos: de mirra pura, quinientos siclos; de cinamomo, la mitad, o sea, 250; de caña aromática, 250;
24 and of cassia five hundred, according to the shekel of the sanctuary, and of olive oil a hin;	24 de casia, quinientos, en siclos del Santuario, y un sextario de aceite de oliva.
25 and you shall make of these a sacred anointing oil blended as by the perfumer; a holy anointing oil it shall be.	25 Prepararás con ello el óleo para la unción sagrada, perfume aromático como lo prepara el perfumista. Este será el óleo para la unción sagrada.
26 And you shall anoint with it the tent of meeting and the ark of the testimony,	26 Con él ungirás la Tienda del Encuentro y el arca del Testimonio,
27 and the table and all its utensils, and the lampstand and its utensils, and the altar of incense,	27 la mesa con todos sus utensilios, el candelabro con todos sus utensilios, el altar del incienso,
28 and the altar of burnt offering with all its utensils and the laver and its base;	28 el altar del holocausto con todos sus utensilios y la pila con su base.
29 you shall consecrate them, that they may be most holy; whatever touches them will become holy.	29 Así los consagrarás y serán cosa sacratísima. Todo cuanto los toque quedará santificado.
30 And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may serve me as priests.	30 Ungirás también a Aarón y a sus hijos y los consagrarás para que ejerzan mi sacerdocio.
31 And you shall say to the people of Israel, 'This shall be my holy anointing oil throughout your generations.	31 Hablarás a los israelitas, diciendo: Este será para vosotros el óleo de la unción sagrada de generación en generación.
32 It shall not be poured upon the bodies of ordinary men, and you shall make no other like it in composition; it is holy, and it shall be holy to you.	32 No debe derramarse sobre el cuerpo de ningún hombre; no haréis ningún otro de composición parecida a la suya. Santo es y lo tendréis por cosa sagrada.
33 Whoever compounds any like it or whoever puts any of it on an outsider shall be cut off from his people.'"	33 Cualquiera que prepare otro semejante, o derrame de él sobre un laico, será exterminado de su pueblo.
34 And the LORD said to Moses, "Take sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum, sweet spices with pure frankincense (of each shall there be an equal part),	34 Dijo Yahveh a Moisés: Procúrate en cantidades iguales aromas: estacte, uña marina y gálbano, especias aromáticas e incienso puro.
35 and make an incense blended as by the perfumer, seasoned with salt, pure and holy;	35 Prepara con ello, según el arte del perfumista, un incienso perfumado, sazonado con sal, puro y santo;
36 and you shall beat some of it very small, and put part of it before the testimony in the tent of meeting where I shall meet with you; it shall be for you most holy.	36 pulverizarás una parte que pondrás delante del Testimonio, en la Tienda del Encuentro, donde yo me encontraré contigo. Será para vosotros cosa sacratísima.
37 And the incense which you shall make according to its composition, you shall not make for yourselves; it shall be for you holy to the LORD.	37 Y en cuanto a la composición de este incienso que vas a hacer, no la imitéis para vuestro uso. Lo tendrás por consagrado a Yahveh.
38 Whoever makes any like it to use as perfume shall be cut off from his people."	38 Cualquiera que prepare otro semejante para aspirar su fragancia, será exterminado de en medio de su pueblo.
