1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. When God created man, he made him in the likeness of God.	1 Questo è il libro della discendenza di Adamo. Nel giorno in cui Dio creò l’uomo, lo fece a somiglianza di Dio;
2 Male and female he created them, and he blessed them and named them Man when they were created.	2 maschio e femmina li creò, li benedisse e diede loro il nome di uomo nel giorno in cui furono creati.
3 When Adam had lived a hundred and thirty years, he became the father of a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth.	3 Adamo aveva centotrenta anni quando generò un figlio a sua immagine, secondo la sua somiglianza, e lo chiamò Set.
4 The days of Adam after he became the father of Seth were eight hundred years; and he had other sons and daughters.	4 Dopo aver generato Set, Adamo visse ancora ottocento anni e generò figli e figlie.
5 Thus all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years; and he died.	5 L’intera vita di Adamo fu di novecentotrenta anni; poi morì.
6 When Seth had lived a hundred and five years, he became the father of Enosh.	6 Set aveva centocinque anni quando generò Enos;
7 Seth lived after the birth of Enosh eight hundred and seven years, and had other sons and daughters.	7 dopo aver generato Enos, Set visse ancora ottocentosette anni e generò figli e figlie.
8 Thus all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years; and he died.	8 L’intera vita di Set fu di novecentododici anni; poi morì.
9 When Enosh had lived ninety years, he became the father of Kenan.	9 Enos aveva novanta anni quando generò Kenan;
10 Enosh lived after the birth of Kenan eight hundred and fifteen years, and had other sons and daughters.	10 Enos, dopo aver generato Kenan, visse ancora ottocentoquindici anni e generò figli e figlie.
11 Thus all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years; and he died.	11 L’intera vita di Enos fu di novecentocinque anni; poi morì.
12 When Kenan had lived seventy years, he became the father of Ma-halalel.	12 Kenan aveva settanta anni quando generò Maalalèl;
13 Kenan lived after the birth of Ma-halalel eight hundred and forty years, and had other sons and daughters.	13 Kenan, dopo aver generato Maalalèl, visse ancora ottocentoquaranta anni e generò figli e figlie.
14 Thus all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years; and he died.	14 L’intera vita di Kenan fu di novecentodieci anni; poi morì.
15 When Ma-halalel had lived sixty-five years, he became the father of Jared.	15 Maalalèl aveva sessantacinque anni quando generò Iered;
16 Ma-halalel lived after the birth of Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and had other sons and daughters.	16 Maalalèl, dopo aver generato Iered, visse ancora ottocentotrenta anni e generò figli e figlie.
17 Thus all the days of Ma-halalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years; and he died.	17 L’intera vita di Maalalèl fu di ottocentonovantacinque anni; poi morì.
18 When Jared had lived a hundred and sixty-two years he became the father of Enoch.	18 Iered aveva centosessantadue anni quando generò Enoc;
19 Jared lived after the birth of Enoch eight hundred years, and had other sons and daughters.	19 Iered, dopo aver generato Enoc, visse ancora ottocento anni e generò figli e figlie.
20 Thus all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years; and he died.	20 L’intera vita di Iered fu di novecentosessantadue anni; poi morì.
21 When Enoch had lived sixty-five years, he became the father of Methuselah.	21 Enoc aveva sessantacinque anni quando generò Matusalemme.
22 Enoch walked with God after the birth of Methuselah three hundred years, and had other sons and daughters.	22 Enoc camminò con Dio; dopo aver generato Matusalemme, visse ancora per trecento anni e generò figli e figlie.
23 Thus all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.	23 L’intera vita di Enoc fu di trecentosessantacinque anni.
24 Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.	24 Enoc camminò con Dio, poi scomparve perché Dio l’aveva preso.
25 When Methuselah had lived a hundred and eighty-seven years, he became the father of Lamech.	25 Matusalemme aveva centoottantasette anni quando generò Lamec;
26 Methuselah lived after the birth of Lamech seven hundred and eighty-two years, and had other sons and daughters.	26 Matusalemme, dopo aver generato Lamec, visse ancora settecentoottantadue anni e generò figli e figlie.
27 Thus all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years; and he died.	27 L’intera vita di Matusalemme fu di novecentosessantanove anni; poi morì.
28 When Lamech had lived a hundred and eighty-two years, he became the father of a son,	28 Lamec aveva centoottantadue anni quando generò un figlio
29 and called his name Noah, saying, "Out of the ground which the LORD has cursed this one shall bring us relief from our work and from the toil of our hands."	29 e lo chiamò Noè, dicendo: «Costui ci consolerà del nostro lavoro e della fatica delle nostre mani, a causa del suolo che il Signore ha maledetto».
30 Lamech lived after the birth of Noah five hundred and ninety-five years, and had other sons and daughters.	30 Lamec, dopo aver generato Noè, visse ancora cinquecentonovantacinque anni e generò figli e figlie.
31 Thus all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years; and he died.	31 L’intera vita di Lamec fu di settecentosettantasette anni; poi morì.
32 After Noah was five hundred years old, Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.	32 Noè aveva cinquecento anni quando generò Sem, Cam e Iafet.
