1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.	1 Lorsqu'Il eut ouvert le septième sceau, il se fit dans le ciel un silence d'environ une demi-heure.
2 And I saw seven Angels standing in the sight of God. And seven trumpets were given to them.	2 Et je vis les sept Anges qui se tiennent devant Dieu, et sept trompettes leur furent données.
3 And another Angel approached, and he stood before the altar, holding a golden censer. And much incense was given to him, so that he might offer upon the golden altar, which is before the throne of God, the prayers of all the saints.	3 Et un autre Ange vint et se plaça devant l'autel, ayant un encensoir d'or; et il lui fut donné beaucoup de parfums, afin qu'il les offrît, avec les prières de tous les saints, sur l'autel d'or qui est devant le trône de Dieu.
4 And the smoke of the incense of the prayers of the saints ascended, in the presence of God, from the hand of the Angel.	4 Et la fumée des parfums monta, avec les prières des saints, de la main de l'Ange devant Dieu.
5 And the Angel received the golden censer, and he filled it from the fire of the altar, and he cast it down upon the earth, and there were thunders and voices and lightnings and a great earthquake.	5 Et l'Ange prit l'encensoir et le remplit du feu de l'autel, et le jeta sur la terre; et il y eut des tonnerres, des voix, des éclairs, et un grand tremblement de terre.
6 And the seven Angels who hold the seven trumpets prepared themselves, in order to sound the trumpet.	6 Et les sept Anges qui avaient les sept trompettes se préparèrent à en sonner.
7 And the first Angel sounded the trumpet. And there came hail and fire, mixed with blood; and it was cast down upon the earth. And a third part of the earth was burned, and a third part of the trees was entirely burned up, and all the green plants were burned.	7 Le premier Ange sonna de la trompette; et il y eut de la grêle et du feu mêlés de sang, qui furent jetés sur la terre; et la troisième partie de la terre fut brûlée, et la troisième partie des arbres fut brûlée, et toute herbe verte fut brûlée.
8 And the second Angel sounded the trumpet. And something like a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast down into the sea. And a third part of the sea became like blood.	8 Le second Ange sonna de la trompette; et quelque chose comme une grande montagne embrasée par le feu fut jeté dans la mer, et la troisième partie de la mer devint du sang,
9 And a third part of the creatures that were living in the sea died. And a third part of the ships were destroyed.	9 et la troisième partie des créatures vivantes qui sont dans la mer mourut, et la troisième partie des navires périt.
10 And the third Angel sounded the trumpet. And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch. And it fell upon a third part of the rivers and upon the sources of water.	10 Le troisième Ange sonna de la trompette; et il tomba du ciel une grande étoile, brûlant comme un flambeau; et elle tomba sur la troisième partie des fleuves, et sur les sources des eaux.
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And a third part of the waters were turned into wormwood. And many men died from the waters, because they were made bitter.	11 Le nom de cette étoile était Absinthe; et la troisième partie des eaux fut changée en absinthe et un grand nombre d'hommes moururent par les eaux, parce qu'elles étaient devenues amères.
12 And the fourth Angel sounded the trumpet. And a third part of the sun, and a third part of the moon, and a third part of the stars were struck, in such a way that a third part of them was obscured. And a third part of the day did not shine, and similarly the night.	12 Le quatrième Ange sonna de la trompette; et la troisième partie du soleil fut frappée, et la troisième partie de la lune, et la troisième partie des étoiles, de sorte que la troisième partie en fût obscurcie, et que le jour perdît la troisième partie de sa clarté, et la nuit de même.
13 And I saw, and I heard the voice of a lone eagle flying through the midst of heaven, calling with a great voice: “Woe, Woe, Woe, to the inhabitants of the earth, from the remaining voices of the three Angels, who will soon sound the trumpet!”	13 Alors je vis, et j'entendis la voix d'un aigle qui volait par le milieu du Ciel, en disant d'une voix forte: Malheur! malheur aux habitants de la terre, à cause du son des trompettes des trois autres Anges qui doivent encore sonner!
