Zechariah 3

1 And the Lord revealed to me: Jesus the high priest, standing in the sight of the angel of the Lord. And Satan stood before his right hand, so as to be his adversary.	1 Le Seigneur me fit voir Jésus, le grand-prêtre, debout devant l'ange du Seigneur ; et Satan se tenait à sa droite pour s'opposer à lui.
2 And the Lord said to Satan, “May the Lord rebuke you, Satan! And may the Lord, who chose Jerusalem, rebuke you! Are you not a firebrand plucked from the fire?”	2 Et le Seigneur dit à Satan : Que le Seigneur te réprime, Satan ! que le Seigneur te réprime, lui qui a élu Jérusalem ! Celui-ci n'est-il pas un (ce) tison (re)tiré du feu ?
3 And Jesus was clothed with filthy garments. And he stood before the face of an angel.	3 Or, Jésus était couvert de vêtements souillés (sales), et il se tenait debout devant (la face de) l'ange.
4 He answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, “Take away the filthy garments from him.” And he said to him, “Behold, I have taken away from you your iniquity, and I have clothed you with a change of clothing.”	4 Et l'ange, prenant la parole, dit à ceux qui étaient debout devant lui : Otez-lui ses vêtements souillés (sales). Et il dit à Jésus : Voici, je t'ai enlevé ton iniquité, et je t'ai revêtu d'habits de rechange.
5 And he said, “Place a clean diadem on his head.” And they placed a clean diadem on his head, and they clothed him with garments. And the angel of the Lord remained standing.	5 Et il dit : Mettez sur sa tête une tiare pure (propre). Et ils mirent sur sa tête une tiare pure, et ils le revêtirent d'un vêtement ; et l'ange du Seigneur se tenait là (debout).
6 And the angel of the Lord contested with Jesus, saying:	6 Et l'ange du Seigneur fit à Jésus cette déclaration et dit :
7 Thus says the Lord of hosts: If you will walk in my ways and keep my charge, you likewise will judge my house and will keep my courts, and I will give you some of those who now attend here to walk with you.	7 Ainsi parle le Seigneur des armées : Si tu marches dans mes voies et si tu observes mes ordres, toi aussi tu jugeras (gouverneras) ma maison, et tu garderas mes parvis, et je te donnerai pour marcher avec toi, quelques-uns de ceux qui sont maintenant ici.
8 Listen, Jesus the high priest, you and your friends, who dwell before you, who have been portending to men. For behold, I will lead my servant to the East.	8 Ecoute, Jésus, grand-prêtre, toi et tes amis qui sont auprès de toi, car ce sont des hommes qui figurent l'avenir ; voici, je vais amener mon Serviteur (l')Orient.
9 For behold, the stone that I have bestowed before Jesus. Upon one stone, there are seven eyes. Behold, I will carve its engraving, says the Lord of hosts. And I will take away the iniquity of that land in one day.	9 Car voici la pierre que j'ai mise devant Jésus : il y a sept yeux sur cette seule pierre. Voici, je graverai moi-même ce qui doit y être gravé (la graverai avec le ciseau), dit le Seigneur des armées, et j'enlèverai en un (seul) jour l'iniquité de ce pays.
10 On that day, says the Lord of hosts, every man will call his friend from under the vine and from under the fig tree.	10 Et ce jour-là, dit le Seigneur des armées, l'ami appellera son ami sous la (une) vigne et sous le (un) figuier.
