1 And it happened that, in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, on the first of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	1 No ano duodécimo. no primeiro dia do mês duodécimo, foi-me dirigida a palavra do Senhor, nestes termos;
2 “Son of man, take up a lamentation over Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and you shall say to him: You are like the lion of the Gentiles, and like the dragon that is in the sea. And you brandished a horn among your rivers, and you disturbed the waters with your feet, and you trampled upon their rivers.	2 Filho de homem, entoa uma lamentação sobre Faraó, rei do Egipto. Dirás; Leão das gentes, pereceste! Eras como o crocodilo que está nos mares; atiravas-te pelos rios, turbavas as águas com as tuas patas, agitavas as suas correntes.
3 Because of this, thus says the Lord God: I will spread my net over you, with the multitude of many peoples, and I will draw you into my dragnet.	3 Por cuja causa, isto diz o Senhor Deus; Estenderei sobre ti a minha rede, por meio duma multidão imensa de povos, e tirar-te-ão para fora na minha rede.
4 And I will throw you upon the land. I will cast you upon the surface of the field. And I will cause all the birds of the air to live upon you. And I will satiate the beasts of the entire earth with you.	4 Arrojar-te-ei à terra, lançar-te-ei sobre o campo, farei pousar sobre ti todas as aves do céu, fartarei em ti todos os animais da terra.
5 And I will place your flesh upon the mountains. And I will fill up your hills with your decaying flesh.	5 Lançarei as tuas carnes sobre os montes., encherei os vales dos teus destroços.
6 And I will irrigate the earth with your rotting blood upon the mountains. And the valleys will be filled with you.	6 Regarei a terra das montanhas com o que escorrer de ti, com o teu sangue, e as que bradas ficarão cheias (do que tiver saldo) de ti.
7 And I will cover heaven, when you will have been extinguished. And I will cause its stars to grow dark. I will shroud the sun with gloom, and the moon will not give her light.	7 Velarei os céus, quando fores morto, farei enegrecer as suas estrelas; encobrirei o sol de nuvens, e a lua não dará a sua luz.
8 I will cause all the lights of heaven to grieve over you. And I will bring darkness upon your land, says the Lord God, when your wounded will have fallen in the midst of the land, says the Lord God.	8 Farei que todos os luzeiros do céu se vistam de luto, por ti, e espalharei as trevas sobre a tua terra, diz o Senhor Deus,
9 And I will provoke the heart of many peoples to anger, when I will have led in your destruction among the Gentiles, over the lands that you have not known.	9 Encherei de dor o coração de muitos povos, quando espalhar os teus cativos por entre as nações, por países que não conheces.
10 And I will cause many peoples to be stupefied over you. And their kings will be afraid, with great horror, over you, when my sword will begin to fly above their faces. And suddenly, they will be struck with astonishment, each one concerning his own life, on the day of their ruination.	10 Farei com que muitos povos fiquem atônitos, pelo teu caso, e com que os seus reis tremam por causa de ti, possuídos de terror., quando agitar a minha espada diante da sua face. Cada um incessantemente tremerá pela sua própria vida, no dia da tua ruína.
11 For thus says the Lord God: The sword of the king of Babylon will come to you.	11 Eis o que diz o Senhor Deus; A espada do rei de Babilônia virá sobre ti.
12 By the swords of the strong, I will cast down your multitude. All these nations are invincible, and they will lay waste to the arrogance of Egypt, and so its multitude will be destroyed.	12 Com a espada dos fortes (Caldeus) desfarei a tua multidão. São os mais bárbaros de todos os povos. Destruirão a soberba do Egipto, e toda a sua multidão será dissipada.
13 And I will perish all its cattle, which were above the many waters. And the foot of man will no longer disturb them, and the hoof of cattle will no longer trouble them.	13 Farei perecer todos os seus animais (que pastam) junto de abundantes águas; não as turvará mais pé de homem, nem casco de animais.
14 Then I will cause their waters to be very pure, and their rivers to be like oil, says the Lord God,	14 Então farei repousar as suas águas, correr os seus rios como o azeite, diz o Senhor Deus.
15 when I will have set the land of Egypt in desolation. And the land will be deprived of her plenitude, when I will have struck all its inhabitants. And they shall know that I am the Lord.	15 Quando eu tiver desolado a terra do Egipto, quando todo o país estiver despojado dos bens que contém, quando tiver ferido todos os seus habitantes, saberão que sou o Senhor.
16 This is the lamentation. And they shall lament it. The daughters of the Gentiles shall lament it. They shall lament it over Egypt and over its multitude, says the Lord God.”	16 Esta é a lamentação que hão-de entoar as filhas das nações; entoá-la-ão sobre o Egipto e sobre a sua multidão, diz o Senhor Deus.
17 And it happened that, in the twelfth year, on the fifteenth of the month, the word of the Lord came to me saying:	17 No ano duodécimo. aos quinze do mês, foi-me dirigida a palavra do Senhor, nestes termos:
18 “Son of man, sing mournfully over the multitude of Egypt. And cast her down, both her and the daughters of the robust nations, to the lowest part of the earth, with those who descend into the pit.	18 Filho de homem, entoa um cântico lúgubre sobre o povo do Egipto: (vaticinando) precipita-o a ele e ás filhas das nações fortes, no fundo da terra com aqueles que descem à fossa.
19 Whom do you exceed in beauty? Descend and sleep with the uncircumcised!	19 A quem excedes em beleza? Desce e deita-te com os incircuncidados.
20 They will fall by the sword in the midst of the slain. The sword has been given. They have dragged her down, with all her people.	20 Cairão no meio daqueles que foram mortos à espada—foi dada a espada (por Deus nos Caldeus). Levaram após si o Egipto e todos os seus povos.
21 The most powerful among the strong will speak to him from the midst of hell, those who descended with his helpers and who went to sleep uncircumcised, slain by the sword.	21 Do meio da habitação dos mortos lhes dirão os mais poderosos dentre os fortes, a ele e aos seus auxiliares: Desceram e jazem, passados ao fio da espada, os incircuncidados.
22 Assur is in that place, with all his multitude. Their graves are all around him: all of the slain and those who fell by the sword.	22 Ali está Assur, e toda a sua multidão de povo; os seus sepulcros estão ao redor dele; todos foram mortos, caíram a golpes de espada.
23 Their graves have been placed in the lowest parts of the pit. And his multitude was stationed on all sides of his grave: all of the slain, and those who fell by the sword, who formerly spread terror in the land of the living.	23 Os seus sepulcros foram postos no mais profundo da fossa; todo o seu povo jaz ao redor do seu sepulcro; todos foram mortos, abatidos à espada, eles que tinham espalhado o terror na terra dos vivos.
24 Elam is in that place, with all his multitude, on all sides of his grave, all those who were slain or who fell by the sword, who descended uncircumcised to the lowest part of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living. And they have borne their disgrace, with those who descend into the pit.	24 Ali está Elam, e todo o seu povo ao redor do seu sepulcro; todos foram’ mortos., passados ao fio da espada, e desceram incircuncidados às profundezas da terra. Eles, que (antes) foram o terror de todos na terra dos vivos, levam sobre si a própria ignomínia com os que descem à fossa.
25 They have appointed him a place to lie among all his people, in the midst of the slain. Their graves are all around him. All these are uncircumcised and were slain by the sword. For they spread their terror in the land of the living, and they have borne their disgrace, with those who descend into the pit. They have been stationed in the midst of the slain.	25 No meio dos que foram mortos foi colocado o leito para ele, e para todos os seus povos, ao redor dele: os seus sepulcros estão ao redor dele. Todos estes incircuncidados foram passados ao fio da, espada, porque espalharam o terror na terra dos vivos: levaram sobre si a ignomínia com os que descem à cova, foram postos no meio dos que tinham sido mortos.
26 Meshech and Tubal are in that place, with all their multitude. Their graves are all around him: all these are uncircumcised, and they were slain and fell by the sword. For they spread their terror in the land of the living.	26 Ali se acham Mosoc e Tubal, e todo o seu povo; os seus sepulcros estão ao redor dele; todos estes incircuncidados foram mortos à espada, porque espalharam o terror na terra dos vivos.
27 But they shall not sleep with the strong, and with those who also fell uncircumcised, who descended to hell with their weapons, and who placed their swords under their heads, while their iniquities were in their bones. For they were the terror of the strong in the land of the living.	27 Não jazerão com os heróis de outrora, com esses que baixaram à habitação dos mortos (adornados) com suas armas, debaixo de cujas cabeças foram colocadas as suas espadas, debaixo de cujos ossos foram postos os seus escudos, visto que se espalhou o seu terror na terra dos vivos.
28 Therefore, you also will be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and you will sleep with those who were slain by the sword.	28 No meio dos incircuncidados é que jazerás, entre os que foram passados ao fio da espada.
29 Idumea is in that place, with her kings and all her commanders, who with their army have been given to those who were slain by the sword. And they have slept with the uncircumcised and with those who descend into the pit.	29 Ali está a Idumeia, e os seus reis, e todos os seus príncipes que. apesar da sua bravura, foram postos entre os mortos à espada, jazendo (assim) com os incircuncidados, com os que descem à fossa.
30 All the leaders of the north are in that place, with all the hunters, who were brought down with the slain, fearful and confounded in their strength, who have gone to sleep uncircumcised, with those who were slain by the sword. And they have borne their disgrace, with those who descend into the pit.	30 Ali estão todos os príncipes do aquilão, todos os Sidõnios, descidos com os que foram mortos, apesar da sua tremenda valentia. Jazem incircuncidados, com os que tinham perecido a golpes dia espada, e levam sobre si a sua confusão com os que descem à fossa.
31 Pharaoh saw them, and he was consoled over all his multitude, which was slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his army, says the Lord God.	31 Faraó os verá e consolar-se-á, à vista de toda esta multidão que foi morta ao fio da espada. Faraó e todo o seu exército, diz o Senhor Deus.
32 For I have spread my terror in the land of the living, and he has gone to sleep in the midst of the uncircumcised, with those who were slain by the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord God.”	32 Porque tinha espalhado o terror sobre a terra dos vivos, ei-lo que jaz no meio dos incircuncidados, com os que tinham sido mortos pela espada. Faraó e todo o seu povo, diz o Senhor Deus.
