3 And you shall say to Tyre, which lives at the entrance to the sea, which is the marketplace of the peoples for the many islands: Thus says the Lord God: O Tyre, you have said, ‘I am of perfect beauty,3 ܘܐܡܪ ܠܨܘܪ ܕܝܬ̇ܒܐ ܒܡܥܠܢܐ ܕܝܡܐ ܬܐܓܘܪܬܐ ܕܥܡ̈ܡܐ ܘܕܓܙܪ̈ܬܐ ܣ̈ܓܝܐܬܐ ܗܟܢܐ ܐܡ̇ܪ ܡܪܐ ܡܪ̈ܘܬܐ ܨܘܪ ܐܢܬܝ ܐܡܪܬܝ ܕܐܢܐ ܐܢܐ ܟܠܝܠܐ ܕܫܘܒܚܐ

34 Now you have been worn away by the sea, your opulence is in the depths of the waters, and your entire multitude that was in your midst has fallen.34 ܒܙ̇ܒܢܐ ܕܐܬܬܒܪܬܝ ܘܢܦܠܬܝ ܒܥ̈ܘܡܩܘܗܝ ܕܝܡܐ ܬܐܓܘܪܬܟܝ ܘܟܠܗ ܟܢܫܟܝ ܢܦܠܘ ܒܓܘܟܝ
35 All the inhabitants of the islands have been stupefied over you; and all their kings, having been struck by the tempest, have changed their expression.35 ܟܠܗܘܢ ܥܡܪ̈ܝ ܓܙܪ̈ܬܐ ܬܡܗܘ ܥܠܝܟܝ ܘܡ̈ܠܟܝܗܘܢ ܬܘܪܘ ܘܕܡܥܘ ܐ̈ܦܝܗܘܢ
