Ezekiel 12

1 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	1 Hierauf erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
2 “Son of man, you live in the midst of a provoking house. They have eyes to see, and they do not see; and ears to hear, and they do not hear. For they are a provoking house.	2 »Menschensohn, du wohnst inmitten des widerspenstigen Geschlechts, das Augen hat zum Sehen und doch nicht sieht, das Ohren hat zum Hören und doch nicht hört; denn sie sind ein widerspenstiges Geschlecht.
3 As for you, then, son of man, prepare for yourself the supplies for traveling far away, and travel away in the daytime in their sight. And you shall travel from your place to another place in their sight, so that perhaps they may consider it. For they are a provoking house.	3 Darum du, Menschensohn: mache dir Auswanderungsgeräte zurecht und ziehe bei Tage vor ihren Augen aus und wandere vor ihren Augen von deiner Wohnstätte weg nach einem andern Ort: vielleicht kommen sie dann zur Erkenntnis, daß sie ein widerspenstiges Geschlecht sind.
4 And you shall carry your supplies outside, like the supplies of one who is traveling far away, in the daytime in their sight. Then you shall go forth in the evening in their presence, just as one goes forth who is moving far away.	4 Schaffe also deine Geräte wie Auswanderungsgeräte bei Tage vor ihren Augen hinaus; du selbst aber sollst am Abend vor ihren Augen ausziehen, wie jemand auszieht, der auswandern will.
5 Dig for yourself through the wall, before their eyes. And you shall go out through it.	5 Vor ihren Augen brich dir ein Loch durch die Wand und gehe durch dieses hinaus.
6 In their sight, you shall be carried on shoulders, you shall be carried in the dark. You shall cover your face, and you shall not see the ground. For I have appointed you as a portent for the house of Israel.”	6 Vor ihren Augen nimm (deine Geräte) auf die Schulter und in der Dunkelheit ziehe aus; das Gesicht verhülle dir, so daß du das Land nicht sehen kannst; denn ich habe dich zu einem Wahrzeichen für das Haus Israel bestimmt.«
7 Therefore, I did just as he had instructed me. I brought out my supplies in the daytime, like the supplies of one who is moving far away. And in the evening, I dug myself through the wall by hand. And I went out in the dark, and I was carried on shoulders, in their sight.	7 Da tat ich so, wie mir geboten worden war: meine Geräte trug ich wie Auswanderungsgeräte hinaus, und zwar bei Tage, am Abend aber brach ich mir ein Loch durch die Wand [mit der Hand]; in der Dunkelheit ging ich hinaus und trug meine Sachen vor ihren Augen auf der Schulter.
8 And the word of the Lord came to me, in the morning, saying:	8 Am nächsten Morgen aber erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
9 “Son of man, has not the house of Israel, the provoking house, said to you: ‘What are you doing?’	9 »Menschensohn, haben nicht die vom Hause Israel, das widerspenstige Geschlecht, dich gefragt: ›Was machst du da?‹
10 Say to them: Thus says the Lord God: This is the burden concerning my leader who is in Jerusalem, and concerning the entire house of Israel, who are in their midst.	10 Sage zu ihnen: ›So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: Auf den Fürsten in Jerusalem bezieht sich dieser Gottesspruch und auf das ganze Haus Israel, das darin wohnt.
11 Say: I am your portent. Just as I have done, so shall it be done to them. They will be taken captive and moved far away.	11 Sage zu ihnen: Ich bin ein Wahrzeichen für euch; wie ich es hier gemacht habe, so wird es auch ihnen ergehen: in die Verbannung werden sie als Gefangene ziehen müssen.
12 And the leader who is in their midst will be carried on shoulders; he will go forth in darkness. They will dig through the wall, so that they may lead him away. His face will be covered, so that he may not see the land with his eye.	12 Der Fürst aber, der sich mitten unter ihnen befindet, wird seine Sachen (oder: Geräte) auf der Schulter tragen und sich im Finstern davonmachen; durch die Mauer wird er sich ein Loch brechen, um da hinauszuziehen; das Gesicht wird er sich verhüllen, damit er das Land mit seinen Augen nicht mehr sehe.
13 And I will extend my net over him, and he will be captured in my dragnet. And I will lead him to Babylon, into the land of the Chaldeans, but he himself will not see it. And there he shall die.	13 Ich werde aber mein Fangnetz über ihn ausbreiten, damit er in meinem Garn gefangen wird, und ich werde ihn nach Babylon bringen in das Land der Chaldäer, aber auch das wird er nicht sehen; und dort wird er sterben.
14 And all who are around him, his guards and his companies, I will scatter into every wind. And I will unsheathe the sword after them.	14 Und seine ganze Umgebung, seine Helfer und seine Kriegsscharen insgesamt, will ich in alle Winde zerstreuen und das Schwert hinter ihnen her zücken;
15 And they shall know that I am the Lord, when I will have dispersed them among the Gentiles, and will have sowed them among the lands.	15 dann werden sie erkennen, daß ich der HERR bin, wenn ich sie unter die Heidenvölker zerstreue und sie in die Länder versprenge.
16 And I will leave behind a few men of them, apart from the sword, and the famine, and the pestilence, so that they may declare all their wicked deeds among the Gentiles, to whom they will go. And they shall know that I am the Lord.”	16 Nur einige wenige von ihnen will ich vom Schwert, vom Hunger und von der Pest verschont bleiben lassen, damit sie unter den Heidenvölkern, zu denen sie kommen werden, all ihre Greuel erzählen, und auch diese erkennen, daß ich der HERR bin.‹«
17 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	17 Weiter erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
18 “Son of man, eat your bread in consternation. Moreover, drink your water hurriedly and in sorrow.	18 »Menschensohn, dein Brot sollst du mit Beben essen und dein Wasser mit Zittern und in Angst trinken
19 And say to the people of the land: Thus says the Lord God, to those who are living in Jerusalem, in the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread in anxiety, and drink their water in desolation, so that the land may be desolate before its multitude, because of the iniquity of all who are living in it.	19 und sollst zum Volk des Landes sagen: ›So hat Gott der HERR in betreff der Bewohner Jerusalems im Lande Israel gesprochen: Ihr Brot sollen sie in Angst essen und ihr Wasser mit Entsetzen trinken, weil ihr Land veröden soll, seiner Fülle beraubt wegen der Gottlosigkeit aller seiner Bewohner.
20 And cities that are now inhabited will become desolate, and the land will be forsaken. And you shall know that I am the Lord.”	20 Ihre Städte, die jetzt noch bewohnt sind, sollen veröden, und das Land soll zur Wüste werden, damit ihr erkennt, daß ich der HERR bin.‹«
21 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	21 Hierauf erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
22 “Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in the land of Israel? saying: ‘The days shall be extended in length, and every vision shall perish.’	22 »Menschensohn, was für eine Redensart ist da bei euch im Lande Israel im Gebrauch, daß man sagt: ›Die Zeit zieht sich Tag für Tag hin, und alle Weissagung wird hinfällig‹?
23 Therefore, say to them: Thus says the Lord God: I will cause this proverb to cease, and it shall no longer be a common saying in Israel. And tell them that the days are approaching, and the word of every vision.	23 Darum sage zu ihnen: ›So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: Ich will dieser Redensart ein Ende machen; man soll sie in Israel nicht länger im Munde führen.‹ Sage ihnen vielmehr: ›Nahe herbeigekommen ist die Zeit und die Erfüllung aller Weissagungen!
24 For there shall be no longer be any empty visions, nor any ambiguous divination in the midst of the sons of Israel.	24 Denn es wird hinfort keine täuschende Weissagung und keine trügerische Prophezeiung mehr im Hause Israel geben;
25 For I, the Lord, will speak. And whatever word I will speak, it shall be done, and it shall not be delayed any more. Instead, in your days, O provoking house, I will speak a word and do it, says the Lord God.”	25 sondern ich, der HERR, werde reden, und was ich rede, das wird auch eintreffen, und zwar ohne längeren Verzug! Ja, noch in euren Tagen, du widerspenstiges Geschlecht, werde ich einen Ausspruch tun und ihn auch zur Ausführung bringen!‹« – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN.
26 And the word of the Lord came to me, saying:	26 Weiter erging das Wort des HERRN an mich folgendermaßen:
27 “Son of man, behold the house of Israel, those who are saying: ‘The visions that this one sees is many days away,’ and, ‘This man prophesies about times that are far away.’	27 »Menschensohn, wisse wohl: die vom Hause Israel sagen: ›Die Weissagungen, welche der da (d.h. Ezechiel) infolge von Offenbarungen ausspricht, gehen auf lange Zeit hinaus, und er prophezeit auf weite Zeiträume (= ferne Zukunft) hinaus.‹
28 Because of this, say to them: Thus says the Lord God: No word of mine will be delayed any longer. The word that I will speak will be fulfilled, says the Lord God.”	28 Darum sage zu ihnen: ›So hat Gott der HERR gesprochen: Für keines meiner Worte soll es noch längeren Verzug geben; jedes Wort, das ich ausspreche, soll sich auch erfüllen!‹« – so lautet der Ausspruch Gottes des HERRN.
