Leviticus 3

1 But if his oblation will be a sacrifice of peace offerings, and he wishes to offer it from the oxen, whether male or female, he shall offer what is immaculate, in the sight of the Lord.	1 Quando uno offrirà un'ostia pacifica, se vorrà offrire dei buoi, presenterà dinanzi al Signore un maschio o una femmina senza difetti,
2 And he shall place his hand upon the head of his victim, which shall be immolated at the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall pour the blood all around the altar.	2 porrà la mano sul capo della sua vittima, che verrà immolata all'ingresso del Tabernacolo della testimonianza, e i sacerdoti figli d'Aronne spargeranno il sangue attorno all'altare.
3 And they shall offer from the sacrifice of peace offerings, as an oblation to the Lord: the fat which covers the vital organs, and whatever fat is interior,	3 E di questa ostia pacifica essi offriranno in oblazione al Signore il grasso che copre le interiora e tutto ciò che vi è di grasso nell'interno:
4 the two kidneys with the fat that covers the sides, and the mesh of the liver with the two little kidneys.	4 i due reni col grasso che ricopre i lombi e la rete del fegato coi reni.
5 And they shall burn them upon the altar as a holocaust, placing fire under the wood, as an oblation of a most sweet odor to the Lord.	5 Queste cose le brucer anno in olocausto sopra l'altare, messo il fuoco sotto le legna, in oblazione di soavissimo odore al Signore.
6 Yet truly, if his oblation and the sacrifice of peace offerings will be from the sheep, whether he will offer a male or a female, they shall be immaculate.	6 Se poi l'offerta e l'ostia pacifica sarà di pecore, maschio o femmina che siano devono essere senza difetti.
7 If he will offer a lamb in the sight of the Lord,	7 Se offrirà davanti al Signore un agnello,
8 he shall place his hand upon the head of the victim. And it shall be immolated at the vestibule of the tabernacle of the testimony. And the sons of Aaron shall pour its blood all around the altar.	8 porrà la sua mano sul capo della sua vittima che sarà immolata nel vestibolo del Tabernacolo della testimonianza: e i figli d'Aronne ne spargeranno il sangue attorno all'altare.
9 And they shall offer from the victim of peace offerings, as a sacrifice to the Lord: the fat, and the entire rump	9 E di questa ostia pacifica offriranno in sacrifizio al Signore il grasso e tutta la coda
10 with the kidneys, and the fat that covers the abdomen, and all the vital organs, and both the little kidneys with the fat that is near the sides, and the mesh of the liver with the little kidneys.	10 coi reni, il grasso che copre il ventre e tutte le viscere, l'uno e l'altro rene col grasso intorno ai lombi, e la rete del fegato coi reni.
11 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar, as fuel for the fire and as an oblation of the Lord.	11 E il sacerdote farà, bruciare, divorare dal fuoco queste cose sopra l'altare in oblazione al Signore.
12 If his oblation will be a goat, and he will offer it to the Lord,	12 Se l'offerta è una capra, quando l'offre al Signore,
13 he shall place his hand upon its head, and he shall immolate it at the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony. And the sons of Aaron shall pour its blood all around the altar.	13 dopo averle posta la mano sul capo, la immolerà all'ingresso del Tabernacolo della testimonianza. E i figli di Aronne ne spargeranno il sangue attorno all'altare.
14 And they shall take from it, to feed the Lord’s fire: the fat which covers the abdomen, and that which covers all the vital organs,	14 E di essa prenderanno ad alimento del fuoco del Signore il grasso che copre il ventre ed è disteso sopra tutte le viscere,
15 the two little kidneys with the mesh that is over them near the sides, and the fat of the liver with the little kidneys.	15 i due reni colla rete che sta sopra di essi e copre i lombi, il grasso del fegato coi reni.
16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar, as nourishment for the fire and as a most sweet odor. All the fat shall be for the Lord;	16 Le quali cose dal sacerdote saranno bruciate sopra l'altare in alimento del fuoco, e in soavissimo odore. Tutto il grasso sarà del Signore
17 by a perpetual law, in your generations and in all of your habitations, neither blood nor fat shall you eat at all.	17 per legge perpetua in tutte le vostre generazioni, in ogni vostra dimora: non mangerete mai nè sangue, nè grasso ».
