Leviticus 3

1 But if his oblation will be a sacrifice of peace offerings, and he wishes to offer it from the oxen, whether male or female, he shall offer what is immaculate, in the sight of the Lord.	1 Si son sacrifice est un sacrifice de communion et s'il offre du gros bétail, mâle ou femelle, c'estune pièce sans défaut qu'il offrira devant Yahvé.
2 And he shall place his hand upon the head of his victim, which shall be immolated at the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony. And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall pour the blood all around the altar.	2 Il posera la main sur la tête de la victime et l'immolera à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous. Puisles fils d'Aaron, les prêtres, feront couler le sang sur le pourtour de l'autel.
3 And they shall offer from the sacrifice of peace offerings, as an oblation to the Lord: the fat which covers the vital organs, and whatever fat is interior,	3 Il offrira une part de ce sacrifice de communion à titre de mets consumé pour Yahvé: la graissequi couvre les entrailles, toute la graisse qui est au-dessus des entrailles,
4 the two kidneys with the fat that covers the sides, and the mesh of the liver with the two little kidneys.	4 les deux rognons, la graisse qui y adhère ainsi qu'aux lombes, la masse graisseuse qu'il détacheradu foie et des rognons.
5 And they shall burn them upon the altar as a holocaust, placing fire under the wood, as an oblation of a most sweet odor to the Lord.	5 Les fils d'Aaron feront fumer cette part à l'autel en plus de l'holocauste, sur le bois placé sur le feu.Ce sera un mets consumé en parfum d'apaisement pour Yahvé.
6 Yet truly, if his oblation and the sacrifice of peace offerings will be from the sheep, whether he will offer a male or a female, they shall be immaculate.	6 Si c'est du petit bétail qu'il offre à titre de sacrifice de communion pour Yahvé, c'est un mâle ouune femelle sans défaut qu'il offrira.
7 If he will offer a lamb in the sight of the Lord,	7 S'il offre un mouton, il l'offrira devant Yahvé,
8 he shall place his hand upon the head of the victim. And it shall be immolated at the vestibule of the tabernacle of the testimony. And the sons of Aaron shall pour its blood all around the altar.	8 il posera la main sur la tête de la victime et l'immolera devant la Tente du Rendez-vous, puis lesfils d'Aaron en répandront le sang sur le pourtour de l'autel.
9 And they shall offer from the victim of peace offerings, as a sacrifice to the Lord: the fat, and the entire rump	9 De ce sacrifice de communion il offrira la graisse en mets consumé pour Yahvé: la queue entièrequ'il détachera près du sacrum, la graisse qui couvre les entrailles, toute la graisse qui est au-dessus desentrailles,
10 with the kidneys, and the fat that covers the abdomen, and all the vital organs, and both the little kidneys with the fat that is near the sides, and the mesh of the liver with the little kidneys.	10 les deux rognons, la graisse qui y adhère ainsi qu'aux lombes, la masse graisseuse qu'il détacheradu foie et des rognons.
11 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar, as fuel for the fire and as an oblation of the Lord.	11 Le prêtre fera fumer cette part à l'autel à titre de nourriture, de mets consumé pour Yahvé.
12 If his oblation will be a goat, and he will offer it to the Lord,	12 Si son offrande consiste en une chèvre, il l'offrira devant Yahvé,
13 he shall place his hand upon its head, and he shall immolate it at the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony. And the sons of Aaron shall pour its blood all around the altar.	13 il lui posera la main sur la tête et l'immolera devant la Tente du Rendez-vous, et les fils d'Aaronen répandront le sang sur le pourtour de l'autel.
14 And they shall take from it, to feed the Lord’s fire: the fat which covers the abdomen, and that which covers all the vital organs,	14 Voici ce qu'il en offrira ensuite à titre de mets consumé pour Yahvé: la graisse qui couvre lesentrailles, toute la graisse qui est au-dessus des entrailles,
15 the two little kidneys with the mesh that is over them near the sides, and the fat of the liver with the little kidneys.	15 les deux rognons, la graisse qui y adhère ainsi qu'aux lombes, la masse graisseuse qu'il détacheradu foie et des rognons.
16 And the priest shall burn them upon the altar, as nourishment for the fire and as a most sweet odor. All the fat shall be for the Lord;	16 Le prêtre fera fumer ces morceaux à l'autel à titre de nourriture, de mets consumé en parfumd'apaisement. Toute la graisse appartient à Yahvé.
17 by a perpetual law, in your generations and in all of your habitations, neither blood nor fat shall you eat at all.	17 C'est pour tous vos descendants une loi perpétuelle, en quelque lieu que vous demeuriez: vous nemangerez ni graisse ni sang.
