Psalms 120

1 A Canticle in steps. I have lifted up my eyes to the mountains; from thence help will come to me.	1 Ωιδη των Αναβαθμων.>> Εν τη θλιψει μου εκραξα προς τον Κυριον, και εισηκουσε μου.
2 My help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.	2 Κυριε, λυτρωσον την ψυχην μου απο χειλεων ψευδων, απο γλωσσης δολιας.
3 May he not allow your foot to be moved, and may he not slumber, who guards you.	3 Τι θελει σοι δωσει η τι θελει σοι προσθεσει, η δολια γλωσσα;
4 Behold, he who guards Israel will neither sleep, nor slumber.	4 Τα ηκονημενα βελη του δυνατου, μετα ανθρακων αρκευθου.
5 The Lord is your keeper, the Lord is your protection, above your right hand.	5 Ουαι εις εμε, διοτι παροικω εν Μεσεχ, κατοικω εν ταις σκηναις του Κηδαρ?
6 The sun will not burn you by day, nor the moon by night.	6 Πολυν καιρον κατωκησεν η ψυχη μου μετα των μισουντων την ειρηνην.
7 The Lord guards you from all evil. May the Lord guard your soul.	7 Εγω αγαπω την ειρηνην? αλλ' οταν ομιλω, αυτοι ετοιμαζονται δια πολεμον.
8 May the Lord guard your entrance and your exit, from this time forward and even forever.
