1 A Psalm of David. The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool.”	1 Salmo di David. Disse il Signore al mio Signore: Siedi alla mia destra:
2 The Lord will send forth the scepter of your virtue from Zion. Rule in the midst of your enemies.	2 Fino a tanto che io ponga i tuoi nemici sgabello a' tuoi piedi.
3 It is with you from the beginning, in the day of your virtue, in the splendor of the saints. From conception, before the light-bearer, I begot you.	3 Da Sionne stenderà il Signore lo scettro di tua possanza: esercita il tuo dominio in mezzo de' tuoi nemici.
4 The Lord has sworn, and he will not repent: “You are a priest forever, according to the order of Melchizedek.”	4 Teco è il principato nel giorno di tua possanza tragli splendori della santità: avanti la stella del mattino io dal mio seno ti generai.
5 The Lord is at your right hand. He has broken kings in the day of his wrath.	5 Il Signore ha giurato, ed ei non si muterà: tu se' sacerdote in eterno secondo l'ordine di Melchisedech.
6 He will judge between the nations; he will fill up ruination. He will shatter heads in the land of the many.	6 Il Signore sta al tuo fianco: egli nel giorno dell'ira sua i regi atterrò.
7 He will drink from the torrent on the way. Because of this, he will exalt the head.	7 Farà giudizio delle nazioni: moltiplicherà le rovine: spezzerà sulla terra le teste di molti,
	8 (E dirà): Egli nel suo viaggio berà al torrente: per questo alzerà la sua testa.
