1 Now these were the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abihu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.	1 Classes des fils d'Aaron: fils d'Aaron: Nadab, Abihu, Eléazar et Itamar.

3 And David distributed them, that is, Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their courses and ministry.	3 David les répartit en classes, ainsi que Sadoq, l'un des fils d'Eléazar, et Ahimélek, l'un desfils d'Itamar, et les recensa selon leurs services.
4 And there were found many more of the sons of Eleazar among the leading men, than of the sons of Ithamar. 5 Then he divided among them, in both families, by lot. 6 And the scribe Shemaiah, the son of Nethanel, a Levite, wrote these down before the king and the leaders, with Zadok, the priest, and Ahimelech, the son of Abiathar, and also the leaders of the priestly and Levitical families. And there was one house, which was preeminent over the others, that of Eleazar; and there was another house, which had the others under it, that of Ithamar.	6 L'un des lévites, le scribe Shemaya, fils de Netanéel, les inscrivit en présence du roi, desofficiers, du prêtre Sadoq, d'Ahimélek fils d'Ebyatar, des chefs de familles sacerdotales et lévitiques; on tiraitune fois au sort pour chaque famille des fils d'Eléazar, toutes les deux fois pour les fils d'Itamar.
7 Now the first lot went forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah,	7 Yehoyarib fut le premier sur qui tomba le sort, Yedaya le second,
8 the third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,	8 Harim le troisième, Séorim le quatrième,
9 the fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin,	9 Malkiyya le cinquième, Miyyamîn le sixième,
10 the seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah,	10 Haqqoç le septième, Abiyya le huitième,
11 the ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah,	11 Yéshua le neuvième, Shekanyahu le dixième,
12 the eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim,	12 Elyashib le onzième, Yaqim le douzième,

19 These were their courses according to their ministries, so that they would enter into the house of the Lord in accord with their practice, under the hand of Aaron, their father, just as the Lord, the God of Israel, had instructed.	19 Tels sont ceux qui furent recensés selon leur service, pour entrer dans le Temple de Yahvé,conformément à leur règle, règle transmise par Aaron, leur père, comme le lui avait prescrit Yahvé, Dieud'Israël.
20 Now of the sons of Levi who were remaining, there were Shubael, from the sons of Amram, and Jehdeiah, from the sons of Shubael.	20 Quant aux autres fils de Lévi: Pour les fils de Amram: Shubaël. Pour les fils de Shubaël,Yèhdeyahu.
21 Also, there were Isshiah, the leader from the sons of Rehabiah,	21 Pour Rehabyahu, pour les fils de Rehabyahu, l'aîné Yishshiyya.
22 and truly Shelomoth, the son of Izhar, and Jahath, the son of Shelomoth,	22 Pour les Yiçharites, Shelomot; pour les fils de Shelomot, Yahat.

27 Also, the son of Merari: Uzziah, and Shoham, and Zaccur, and Hebri.	27 fils de Merari: pour Yaaziyyahu son fils: Shoham, Zakkur et Ibri;
28 In addition, the son of Mahli was Eleazar, who had no children.	28 pour Mahli, Eléazar qui n'eut pas de fils;
29 Truly, the son of Kish was Jerahmeel.	29 pour Qish: fils de Qish, Yerahméel.
30 The sons of Mushi were Mahli, Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of Levi according to the houses of their families.	30 Fils de Mushi: Mahli, Eder, Yerimot. Tels furent les fils de Lévi, répartis par familles.
31 And they also cast lots concerning their brothers, the sons of Aaron, before David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the leaders of the priestly and Levitical families, as much concerning the elder as the younger. The lot divided all things equitably.	31 Comme les fils d'Aaron, leurs frères, ils tirèrent au sort en présence du roi David, de Sadoq,d'Ahimélek, et des chefs de familles sacerdotales et lévitiques, les premières familles comme les plus petites.
