9 And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dadan.	9 Сини Куша: Сева, Хавіла, Севта, Раема та Савтеха. Сини Раеми: Шева та Дадан.
10 Then Cush conceived Nimrod, and he began to be powerful upon the earth.	10 Куш породив ще й Німрода; він був перший могутнім на землі.
11 Truly, Mizraim conceived Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,	11 Міцраїм породив лудіїв, анаміїв, легевіїв, нафтухіїв,
12 as well as Pathrusim and Casluhim: from these the Philistines and the Caphtorim went forth.	12 патрусіїв, каслухіїв і кафтеріїв, від яких постали філістії (філістимляни).
13 Truly, Canaan conceived Sidon, his firstborn, as well as the Hittite,	13 Ханаан породив Сидона, свого первенця, і Хета,
14 and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,	14 і євусіїв, аморіїв, гіргашіїв,
15 and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,	15 хіввіїв, аркіїв, сініїв,
16 and also the Arvadian, and the Samarite, and the Hamathite.	16 арвадіїв, цемаріїв і хаматіїв.
17 The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.	17 Сини Сима: Елам, Ашшур, Арпахшад, Луд та Арам. Сини Арама: Уц, Хул, Гетер та Маш.
18 Then Arphaxad conceived Shelah, who also himself conceived Eber.	18 Арпахшад породив Шелаха, а Шелах породив Евера.
19 And to Eber were born two sons. The name of one was Peleg, because in his days the earth was divided. And the name of his brother was Joktan.	19 У Евера народились двоє синів: один на ім’я Пелег, бо за його часів була розділена земля, а другий на ім’я Йоктан.
20 Then Joktan conceived Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,	20 Йоктан породив Алмодада, Шелефа, Хацармавета, Ераха,
21 as well as Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,	21 Гадорама, Узала, Діклу,
22 and then Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba, indeed	22 Овала, Авімаела, Шеву,
23 also Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these are the sons of Joktan.	23 Офіра, Хавілу і Йовава. Усі ці — сини Йоктана.
24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,	24 Сим, Арпахшад, Шелах,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,	25 Евер, Пелег, Реу,
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,	26 Серуг, Нахор, Терах,
27 Abram, the same is Abraham.	27 Аврам, він же й Авраам.
28 And the sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.	28 Сини Авраама: Ісаак та Ізмаїл.
29 And these are their generations: the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, and then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,	29 Ось їхні потомки: Невайот, первенець Ізмаїла, Кедар, Адбеел, Мівсам,
30 and Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,	30 Мішма, Дума, Масса, Хадад, Тема,
31 Jetur, Naphish, Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.	31 Єтур, Нафіш і Кедма. Це сини Ізмаїла.
32 And the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham, whom she conceived: Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan: Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.	32 Сини Кетури, наложниці Авраама: вона породила Зімрана, Йокшана, Медана, Мідіяна, Ішбака та Шуаха. Сини Йокшана: Шева і Дедан.
33 And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.	33 Сини Мідіяна: Ефа, Ефер, Ханох, Авіда та Ельдаа. Усі ці — сини Кетури.
34 Now Abraham conceived Isaac, whose sons were Esau and Israel.	34 Авраам породив Ісаака. Сини Ісаака: Ісав та Ізраїль.
35 The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.	35 Сини Ісава: Еліфаз, Реуел, Єуш, Ялам і Корах.
36 The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam, Kenez, and by Timna, Amalek.	36 Сини Еліфаза: Теман, Омар, Цефі, Гатам, Кеназ, Тімна та Амалек.
37 The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, Mizzah.	37 Сини Реуела: Нахат, Зерах, Шамма та Мізза.
38 The sons of Seir: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah, Dishon, Ezer, Dishan.	38 Сини Сеїра: Лотан, Шовал, Цівон, Ана, Дішон, Ецер та Дішан.
39 The sons of Lotan: Hori, Heman. Now the sister of Lotan was Timna.	39 Сини Лотана: Хорі, Геман; а сестра в Лотана: Тімна.
40 The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. The sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. The sons of Anah: Dishon.	40 Сини Шовала: Алван, Монахат, Евал, Шефо та Онам. Сини Цівона: Айя та Ана.
41 The sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Esheban, and Ithran, and Cheran.	41 Сини Ани: Дішон. Сини Дішона: Хемдан, Ешбан, Ітран та Херан.
42 The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, and Akan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.	42 Сини Ецера: Білган, Зааван та Акан. Сини Дішана: Уц та Аран.
43 Now these are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before there was a king over the sons of Israel: Bela, the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.	43 Ось царі, що царювали в краю Едом, ще перед тим, як царював якийнебудь цар над синами Ізраїля: Бела, син Беора. Назва його міста була Дінгава.
44 Then Bela died, and Jobab, the son of Zerah, from Bozrah, reigned in his place.	44 А як помер Бела, то замість нього став царем Йовав, син Зераха, з Боцри.
45 And when Jobab also had died, Husham, from the land of the Temanites, reigned in his place.	45 І помер Йовав, і замість нього став царем Хушам із Теман-краю.
46 Then Husham also passed away, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, reigned in his place. And he struck the Midianites in the land of Moab. The name of his city was Avith.	46 Помер Хушам, і замість нього став царем Гадад, син Бедада. Він розбив мідіян на Моав-рівнині; назва його міста була Авіт.
47 And when Hadad also had died, Samlah from Masrekah reigned in his place.	47 Помер Гадад, на місце його став царем Самла з Масреки.
48 Then Samlah also died, and Shaul from Rehoboth, which is situated beside a river, reigned in his place.	48 Помер Самла, і замість нього став царем Саул із Реховоту, що над Рікою.
49 Shaul also having died, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor, reigned in his place.	49 Помер Саул, а замість нього став царем Ваал-Ханан, син Ахбора.
50 Then he too died, and Hadar reigned in his place. And the name of his city was Pau. And his wife was called Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.	50 Помер Ваал-Ханан, і замість нього став царем Гадад. Назва його міста була Пау, а жінка його була на ім’я Мегедавель, дочка Матреда, дочка Мезагава.
51 And Hadar having died, there began to be commanders in Edom in place of kings: commander Thamna, commander Alvah, commander Jetheth,	51 Як же Гадад помер, то в Едомі постали родоначальники: родоначальник Тімна, родоначальник Алва, родоначальник Єтет,
52 commander Oholibamah, commander Elah, commander Pinon,	52 родоначальник Оголівама, родоначальник Ела, родоначальник Пінон,
53 commander Kanez, commander Teman, commander Mibzar,	53 родоначальник Кеназ, родоначальник Теман, родоначальник Мівцар,
54 commander Magdiel, commander Iram. These are the commanders of Edom.	54 родоначальник Магдієл, родоначальник Ірам. Такі були родоначальники едомські.
