1 He brought me back to the outer east gate of the sanctuary. It was shut.	1 E mi ricondusse verso la porta del santuario esteriore, la quale guardava a levante, ed era chiusa.
2 Yahweh said to me, 'This gate will be kept shut. No one may open it or go through it, since Yahweh,God of Israel, has been through it. And so it must be kept shut.	2 E il Signore mi disse: Questa porta sarà chiusa, e non si aprirà, ed uomo per essa non passerà; perocché il Signore Dio d'Israele è entrato per essa, ed ella sarà chiusa
3 The prince himself, however, may sit there to take his meal in the presence of Yahweh. He must enterand leave through the porch of the gate.'	3 Pel principe. Il principe stesso sederà sopra di essa per mangiare il pane davanti al Signore: egli entrerà per la porta del vestibolo, e per la stessa uscirà.
4 He led me through the north gate to the front of the Temple. And then I looked; I saw the glory ofYahweh filling the Temple of Yahweh; and I fel to the ground.	4 E mi condusse (per la strada della porta settentrionale) in vista del tempio; e vidi, ed ecco, che la gloria del Signore avea ripiena la casa del Signore, ed io caddi boccone.
5 Yahweh said to me, 'Son of man, pay attention, look careful y and listen closely to everything I explain;these are all the arrangements of the Temple of Yahweh and al its laws. Be careful about who is admitted to theTemple and who is excluded from the sanctuary.	5 E il Signore mi disse: Figliuolo dell'uomo, considera in cuor tuo e osserva cogli occhi tuoi, e colle tue orecchie ascolta tutto quello, che io dico a te intorno a tutte le cerimonie della casa del Signore, e intorno a tutte le leggi, che la riguardano; e considera in cuor tuo le costumanze del tempio, e tutto il governo del santuario.
6 And say to the rebels of the House of Israel, "The Lord Yahweh says this: You have gone beyond albounds with al your loathsome practices, House of Israel,	6 E dirai a quella, che a sdegno m' induce alla casa d'Israele: Queste cose dice il Signore Dio: Bastino a voi tutte le vostre scelleratezze, o casa d'Israele;
7 by admitting aliens, uncircumcised in heart and body, to frequent my sanctuary and profane myTemple, while offering my food, the fat and the blood, and breaking my covenant with all your loathsomepractices.	7 Perocché voi introducete gente straniera incirconcisa di cuore, e incirconcisa di carne a star nel mio santuario, e a contaminar la mia casa, e a me offerite i pani, e il grasso, e il sangue; e rompete il mio patto con tutte le vostre scelleratezze.
8 Instead of maintaining the service of my holy things, you have deputed someone else to maintain myservice in my sanctuary.	8 E non avete osservate le leggi del mio santuario, e vi siete eletti i custodi delle regole prescritte da me pel mio santuario.
9 The Lord Yahweh says this: No alien, uncircumcised in heart and body, may enter my sanctuary, noneof the aliens living among the Israelites.	9 Queste cose dice il Signore Dio: Nissuno straniero incirconciso di cuore, e incirconciso di carne, e nissuno figliuolo straniero, che fa sua dimora tra' figliuoli d'Israele, non entrerà nel mio santuario.
10 "As regards the Levites who abandoned me when Israel strayed far from me by fol owing its idols,they must bear the weight of their own sin.	10 Ma di più i Leviti, i quali nella deserzione de' figliuoli d'Israele si allontanaron forte da me, e andaron lungi da me dietro a' loro idoli, ed han pagato il fio di loro iniquità,
11 They must be servants in my sanctuary, responsible for guarding the Temple gates and serving theTemple. They wil kil the burnt offerings and the sacrifice for the people, and hold themselves at the service ofthe people.	11 Saranno nel mio santuario tesorieri, e custodi delle porte della casa, e ministri della casa: eglino scanneranno gli olocausti, e le vittime del popolo, e staranno dinanzi a lui per servirlo;
12 Since they used to be at their service in front of their idols and were an occasion of guilt for theHouse of Israel, very wel , I stretch out my hand against them -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- they wil bear theweight of their guilt.	12 Perocché lo hanno servito davanti agl'idoli loro, e furon d'inciampo d'iniquità alla casa d'Israele: per questo io alzai contro di essi la mano mia, dice il Signore Dio, e pagheranno il fio della loro iniquità:
13 They may never approach me again to perform the priestly office in my presence, nor touch my holythings and my most holy things; they must bear the disgrace of their loathsome practices.	13 E non si appresseranno a me per far funzione di miei sacerdoti, e non si avvicineranno a' miei santuarj presso il Santo de' santi, ma porteranno la lor confusione, e la pena delle scelleraggini da lor commesse.
14 I shal give them the responsibility of serving the Temple; I shal make them responsible for serving itand for everything to be done in it.	14 E farolli portinaj della casa, e ministri di essa in tutto quello, che vi si farà.
15 "As regards the levitical priests, the sons of Zadok, who maintained the service of my sanctuarywhen the Israelites strayed far from me, they wil approach me to serve me; they will stand in my presence tooffer me the fat and blood -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	15 Ma que' sacerdoti, e i Leviti, figliuoli di Sadoc, i quali hanno osservate le cerimonie del mio santuario, quando i figliuoli d'Israele si dilungaron da me, questi si accosteranno a me per servire a me, e staranno alla mia presenza per offerire a me il grasso, e il sangue, dice il Signore Dio.
16 They will enter my sanctuary and approach my table to serve me; they wil maintain my service.	16 Essi entreranno nel mio santuario, ed essi si accosteranno alla mia mensa per servire a me, ed essere custodi di mie cerimonie.
17 Once they enter the gates of the inner court, they must wear linen vestments; they must wear nowool when they serve inside the gates of the inner court and in the Temple.	17 E quando entreranno nelle porte dell'atrio interiore, si vestiranno di abiti di lino, né entrerà loro indosso cosa alcuna di lana quando servono alle porte dell'atrio interiore, e dentro di esso.
18 They must wear linen caps on their heads and linen breeches on their loins; they may not wearanything round their waists that makes them sweat.	18 Avranno alle loro teste le mitre di lino, e a' loro fianchi le brache di lino, e non si cingeranno in guisa da muovere il sudore.
19 When they go out to the people in the outer court, they must remove the vestments in which theyhave performed the liturgy and leave them in the rooms of the Holy Place, and put on other clothes, so as not tohallow the people with their vestments.	19 E quando usciranno nell'atrio esteriore, dove sta il popolo, si spoglieranno delle vesti, che usano nelle loro funzioni, e le riporanno nella camera del santuario, e si vestiranno di altre vesti, per non santificare il popolo col contatto di quelle loro vesti.
20 They may neither shave their heads nor let their hair grow long, but must cut their hair careful y.	20 Ei non si raderanno la testa, e non nudriranno la chioma, ma accorceranno i capelli, tagliandoli.
21 No priest may drink wine on the day he enters the inner court.	21 E nissun sacerdote berà vino, quando dee entrare nell'atrio interiore.
22 They may not marry widows or divorced women, but only virgins of the race of Israel; they may,however, marry a widow, if she is the widow of a priest.	22 Ei non isposerà una vedova, né una ripudiata, ma una vergine della stirpe d'Israele; ed anche una vedova, che sia stata moglie di un sacerdote.
23 They must teach my people the difference between what is sacred and what is profane and makethem understand the difference between what is clean and what is unclean.	23 E insegneranno al mio popolo a discemere tral santo, e il profano, tral mondo, e l'immondo.
24 They must be judges in law-suits; they must judge in the spirit of my judgements; they must fol ow mylaws and ordinances at al my feasts and keep my Sabbaths holy.	24 E ove accadano liti, sederanno ne' miei tribunali, e giudicheranno: osserveranno le mie leggi, e i miei precetti in tutte le loro solennità, e santificheranno i miei sabati.
25 They may not go near a dead person, in case they become unclean, except in these permissiblecases, that is, for father, mother, daughter, son, brother or unmarried sister.	25 E non si accosteranno ad uomo morto, affine di non restarne contaminati, eccetto il padre, e la madre, e il figliuolo, e la figlia, il fratello, e la sorella, che non abbia avuto secondo marito: e per questi contrarranno immondezza.
26 After one of them has been purified, seven days must elapse;	26 E dopo, ch'ei si sarà purificato, si conteranno per lui sette giorni.
27 then, the day he enters the Holy Place in the inner court to minister in the Holy Place, he must offerhis sacrifice for sin -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	27 E il giorno, nel quale egli entrerà nel santuario, nell'atrio interiore per servirmi nel santuario, farà obblazione pel suo peccato, dice il Signore Dio.
28 They may have no heritage; I myself shal be their heritage. You may give them no patrimony inIsrael; I myself shal be their patrimony.	28 Ed ei non avranno eredità: loro eredità son' io, e non darete loro porzione alcuna in Israele, perchè la loro porzione son' io.
29 Their food must be the oblation, the sacrifice for sin and the sacrifice of reparation. Everythingdedicated by vow in Israel shall be for them.	29 La vittima pel peccato, e per il delitto eglino la mangeranno, e tutte le offerte fatte da Israele per voto saranno loro.
30 The best of al your first-fruits and of al the dues and of everything you offer, must go to the priests;and the best of your dough you must also give to the priests, so that a blessing may rest on your house.	30 E de' sacerdoti saranno le primizie di tutti i primogeniti, e le libagioni tutte di tutto quel, che e offerto: e al sacerdote darete le primizie de' vostri cibi, affinchè egli alle case vostre renda benedizione.
31 Priests must not eat the flesh of anything that has died a natural death or been savaged, be it bird oranimal." '	31 I sacerdoti non mangeranno né di uccellame, né di bestia, che sia morta da se, o sia stata uccisa da altra bestia.
