Ezekiel 34

NEW JERUSALEM	BIBBIA
1 The word of Yahweh was addressed to me as follows,	1 Mi fu rivolta questa parola del Signore:
2 'Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them, "Shepherds, theLord Yahweh says this: Disaster is in store for the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Are not shepherdsmeant to feed a flock?	2 "Figlio dell'uomo, profetizza contro i pastori d'Israele, predici e riferisci ai pastori: Dice il Signore Dio: Guai ai pastori d'Israele, che pascono se stessi! I pastori non dovrebbero forse pascere il gregge?
3 Yet you have fed on milk, you have dressed yourselves in wool, you have sacrificed the fattest sheep,but failed to feed the flock.	3 Vi nutrite di latte, vi rivestite di lana, ammazzate le pecore più grasse, ma non pascolate il gregge.
4 You have failed to make weak sheep strong, or to care for the sick ones, or bandage the injured ones.You have failed to bring back strays or look for the lost. On the contrary, you have ruled them cruel y andharshly.	4 Non avete reso la forza alle pecore deboli, non avete curato le inferme, non avete fasciato quelle ferite, non avete riportato le disperse. Non siete andati in cerca delle smarrite, ma le avete guidate con crudeltà e violenza.
5 For lack of a shepherd they have been scattered, to become the prey of al the wild animals; they havebeen scattered.	5 Per colpa del pastore si sono disperse e son preda di tutte le bestie selvatiche: sono sbandate.
6 My flock is astray on every mountain and on every high hil ; my flock has been scattered al over theworld; no one bothers about them and no one looks for them.	6 Vanno errando tutte le mie pecore in tutto il paese e nessuno va in cerca di loro e se ne cura.
7 "Very wel , shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:	7 Perciò, pastori, ascoltate la parola del Signore:
8 As I live, I swear it -- declares the Lord Yahweh -- since my flock has been pil aged and for lack of ashepherd is now the prey of every wild animal, since my shepherds have ceased to bother about my flock, sincemy shepherds feed themselves rather than my flock,	8 Com'è vero ch'io vivo, - parla il Signore Dio - poiché il mio gregge è diventato una preda e le mie pecore il pasto d'ogni bestia selvatica per colpa del pastore e poiché i miei pastori non sono andati in cerca del mio gregge - hanno pasciuto se stessi senza aver cura del mio gregge -
9 very wel , shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh:	9 udite quindi, pastori, la parola del Signore:
10 The Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I am against the shepherds. I shall take my flock out of theircharge and henceforth not al ow them to feed my flock. And the shepherds will stop feeding themselves,because I shal rescue my sheep from their mouths to stop them from being food for them.	10 Dice il Signore Dio: Eccomi contro i pastori: chiederò loro conto del mio gregge e non li lascerò più pascolare il mio gregge, così i pastori non pasceranno più se stessi, ma strapperò loro di bocca le mie pecore e non saranno più il loro pasto.
11 "For the Lord Yahweh says this: Look, I myself shal take care of my flock and look after it.	11 Perché dice il Signore Dio: Ecco, io stesso cercherò le mie pecore e ne avrò cura.
12 As a shepherd looks after his flock when he is with his scattered sheep, so shal I look after mysheep. I shal rescue them from wherever they have been scattered on the day of clouds and darkness.	12 Come un pastore passa in rassegna il suo gregge quando si trova in mezzo alle sue pecore che erano state disperse, così io passerò in rassegna le mie pecore e le radunerò da tutti i luoghi dove erano disperse nei giorni nuvolosi e di caligine.
13 I shal bring them back from the peoples where they are; I shal gather them back from the countriesand bring them back to their own land. I shall pasture them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines and in althe inhabited parts of the country.	13 Le ritirerò dai popoli e le radunerò da tutte le regioni. Le ricondurrò nella loro terra e le farò pascolare sui monti d'Israele, nelle valli e in tutte le praterie della regione.
14 I shal feed them in good pasturage; the highest mountains of Israel will be their grazing ground.There they will rest in good grazing grounds; they will browse in rich pastures on the mountains of Israel.	14 Le condurrò in ottime pasture e il loro ovile sarà sui monti alti d'Israele; là riposeranno in un buon ovile e avranno rigogliosi pascoli sui monti d'Israele.
15 I myself shal pasture my sheep, I myself shal give them rest -- declares the Lord Yahweh.	15 Io stesso condurrò le mie pecore al pascolo e io le farò riposare. Oracolo del Signore Dio.
16 I shal look for the lost one, bring back the stray, bandage the injured and make the sick strong. Ishall watch over the fat and healthy. I shall be a true shepherd to them.	16 Andrò in cerca della pecora perduta e ricondurrò all'ovile quella smarrita; fascerò quella ferita e curerò quella malata, avrò cura della grassa e della forte; le pascerò con giustizia.
17 "As for you, my sheep, the Lord Yahweh says this: I shall judge between sheep and sheep, betweenrams and he-goats.	17 A te, mio gregge, dice il Signore Dio: Ecco, io giudicherò fra pecora e pecora, fra montoni e capri.
18 Not content to drink the clearest of the water, you foul the rest with your feet.	18 Non vi basta pascolare in buone pasture, volete calpestare con i piedi il resto della vostra pastura; non vi basta bere acqua chiara, volete intorbidare con i piedi quella che resta.
19 And my sheep must graze on what your feet have trampled and drink what your feet have fouled.	19 Le mie pecore devono brucare ciò che i vostri piedi hanno calpestato e bere ciò che i vostri piedi hanno intorbidato.
20 Very wel , the Lord Yahweh says this: I myself shall judge between the fat sheep and the thin sheep.	20 Perciò dice il Signore Dio a loro riguardo: Ecco, io giudicherò fra pecora grassa e pecora magra.
21 Since you have jostled with flank and shoulder and butted al the ailing sheep with your horns, untilyou have scattered them outside,	21 Poiché voi avete spinto con il fianco e con le spalle e cozzato con le corna le più deboli fino a cacciarle e disperderle,
22 I shal come and save my sheep and stop them from being victimised. I shal judge between sheepand sheep.	22 io salverò le mie pecore e non saranno più oggetto di preda: farò giustizia fra pecora e pecora.
23 "I shal raise up one shepherd, my servant David, and put him in charge of them to pasture them; hewil pasture them and be their shepherd.	23 Susciterò per loro un pastore che le pascerà, Davide mio servo. Egli le condurrà al pascolo, sarà il loro pastore;
24 I, Yahweh, shal be their God, and my servant David wil be ruler among them. I, Yahweh, havespoken.	24 io, il Signore, sarò il loro Dio e Davide mio servo sarà principe in mezzo a loro: io, il Signore, ho parlato.
25 I shal make a covenant of peace with them; I shal rid the country of wild animals. They wil be ableto live secure in the desert and go to sleep in the woods.	25 Stringerò con esse un'alleanza di pace e farò sparire dal paese le bestie nocive, cosicché potranno dimorare tranquille anche nel deserto e riposare nelle selve.
26 I shal settle them round my hil ; I shall send rain at the proper time; it wil be a rain of blessings.	26 Farò di loro e delle regioni attorno al mio colle una benedizione: manderò la pioggia a tempo opportuno e sarà pioggia di benedizione.
27 The trees of the countryside wil yield their fruit and the soil wil yield its produce; they will be secureon their soil. And they wil know that I am Yahweh when I break the bars of their yoke and rescue them from theclutches of their slave-masters.	27 Gli alberi del campo daranno i loro frutti e la terra i suoi prodotti; essi abiteranno in piena sicurezza nella loro terra. Sapranno che io sono il Signore, quando avrò spezzato le spranghe del loro giogo e li avrò liberati dalle mani di coloro che li tiranneggiano.
28 No more wil they be a prey to the nations, no more wil the wild animals of the country devour them.They wil live secure, with no one to frighten them.	28 Non saranno più preda delle genti, né li divoreranno le fiere selvatiche, ma saranno al sicuro e nessuno li spaventerà.
29 I shal make splendid vegetation grow for them; no more wil they suffer from famine in the country;no more will they have to bear the insults of other nations.	29 Farò germogliare per loro una florida vegetazione; non saranno più consumati dalla fame nel paese e non soffriranno più il disprezzo delle genti.
30 So they wil know that I, their God, am with them and that they, the House of Israel, are my people --declares the Lord Yahweh.	30 Sapranno che io, il Signore, sono il loro Dio e loro, la gente d'Israele, sono il mio popolo. Parola del Signore Dio.
31 And you, my sheep, are the flock of my human pasture, and I am your God -- declares the LordYahweh." '	31 Voi, mie pecore, siete il gregge del mio pascolo e io sono il vostro Dio". Oracolo del Signore Dio.
