1 After this I had a vision of an open door to heaven, and I heard the trumpetlike voice that had spoken to me before, saying, "Come up here and I will show you what must happen afterwards."	1 Después tuve la siguiente visión: Había una puerta abierta en el cielo, y la voz que había escuchado antes, hablándome como una trompeta, me dijo: «Sube aquí, y te mostraré las cosas que deben suceder en seguida».
2 At once I was caught up in spirit. A throne was there in heaven, and on the throne sat	2 En ese mismo momento, fui arrebatado por el Espíritu y vi en el cielo un trono, en el cual alguien estaba sentado.
3 one whose appearance sparkled like jasper and carnelian. Around the throne was a halo as brilliant as an emerald.	3 El que estaba sentado tenía el aspecto de una piedra de jaspe y de ágata. Rodeando el trono, vi un arco iris que tenía el aspecto de la esmeralda.
4 Surrounding the throne I saw twenty-four other thrones on which twenty-four elders sat, dressed in white garments and with gold crowns on their heads.	4 Y alrededor de él, había otros veinticuatro tronos, donde estaban sentados veinticuatro Ancianos, con túnicas blancas y coronas de oro en la cabeza.
5 From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings, and peals of thunder. Seven flaming torches burned in front of the throne, which are the seven spirits of God.	5 Del trono salían relámpagos, voces y truenos, y delante de él ardían siete lámparas de fuego, que son los siete Espíritus de Dios.
6 In front of the throne was something that resembled a sea of glass like crystal. In the center and around the throne, there were four living creatures covered with eyes in front and in back.	6 Frente al trono, se extendía como un mar transparente semejante al cristal. En medio del trono y alrededor de él, había cuatro Seres Vivientes, llenos de ojos por delante y por detrás.
7 The first creature resembled a lion, the second was like a calf, the third had a face like that of a human being, and the fourth looked like an eagle in flight.	7 El primer Ser Viviente era semejante a un león; el segundo, a un toro; el tercero tenía rostro humano; y el cuarto era semejante a un águila en pleno vuelo.
8 The four living creatures, each of them with six wings, were covered with eyes inside and out. Day and night they do not stop exclaiming: "Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come."	8 Cada uno de los cuatro Seres Vivientes tenía seis alas y estaba lleno de ojos por dentro y por fuera. Y repetían sin cesar, día y noche: «Santo, santo, santo es el Señor Dios, el Todopoderoso, el que era, el que es y el que vendrá».
9 Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,	9 Y cada vez que los Seres Vivientes daban gloria, honor y acción de gracias al que está sentado en el trono, al que vive por los siglos de los siglos,
10 the twenty-four elders fall down before the one who sits on the throne and worship him, who lives forever and ever. They throw down their crowns before the throne, exclaiming:	10 los veinticuatro Ancianos se postraban ante él para adorarlo, y ponían sus coronas delante del trono, diciendo:
11 "Worthy are you, Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things; because of your will they came to be and were created."	11 «Tú eres digno, Señor y Dios nuestro, de recibir la gloria, el honor y el poder. Porque has creado todas las cosas: ellas existen y fueron creadas por tu voluntad».
