1 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron:	1 E il Signore parlò a Mosè e ad Aronne, e disse:
2 "Among the Levites take a total of the Kohathites, by clans and ancestral houses, all the men of the Kohathites	2 Fa' il novero de' figliuoli di Caath separatamente dagli altri Leviti secondo le loro case,e famiglie.
3 between thirty and fifty years of age; these are to undertake obligatory tasks in the meeting tent.	3 Dal trentesimo anno in poi fino al cinquantesimo, conta tutti quelli che entrano distazione, e servono nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza.
4 "The service of the Kohathites in the meeting tent concerns the most sacred objects.	4 Questo è l'ufficio de' figliuoli di Caath. Nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza, e nel Sanctasanctorum
5 In breaking camp, Aaron and his sons shall go in and take down the screening curtain and cover the ark of the commandments with it.	5 Entrerà Aronne, e i figliuoli di lui, allorché debbonsi muovere gli alloggiamenti, ecaleranno il velo, che pende dinanzi alla porta, e in esso involgeranno l'arca deltestamento,
6 Over these they shall put a cover of tahash skin, and on top of this spread an all-violet cloth. They shall then put the poles in place.	6 E la copriranno di più col velo di pelli di color violetto, e stenderanno al di sopra lacoperta di color di giacinto, e accomoderanno le stanghe.
7 On the table of the Presence they shall spread a violet cloth and put on it the plates and cups, as well as the bowls and pitchers for libations; the established bread offering shall remain on the table.	7 Parimente la mensa della proposizione la involgeranno in coperta di giacinto, e con essametteranno i turiboli, e i mortai, e i bicchieri, e i nappi per le libagioni: sopra la mensavi saranno sempre i pani:
8 Over these they shall spread a scarlet cloth and cover all this with tahash skin. They shall then put the poles in place.	8 E vi stenderanno sopra il velo di scarlatto, il quale sarà ancor coperto colla tenda dipelli violette, e vi accomoderanno le stanghe.
9 They shall use a violet cloth to cover the lampstand with its lamps, trimming shears, and trays, as well as the various containers of oil from which it is supplied.	9 Prenderanno anche una coperta di giacinto, colla quale involgeranno il candelabro collelucerne, e le sue forbici, e le smoccolatoie, e con tutti i vasi dell'olio, e quel che servead aggiustar le lucerne:
10 The lampstand with all its utensils they shall then enclose in a covering of tahash skin, and place on a litter.	10 E sopra tutte queste cose metteranno una coperta di pelli violette, e vi accomoderanno lestanghe.
11 Over the golden altar they shall spread a violet cloth, and cover this also with a covering of tahash skin. They shall then put the poles in place.	11 Similmente l'altare d'oro lo involgeranno in una coperta di giacinto, e vi stenderanno sopraun velo di pelli violette, e vi accomoderanno le stanghe.
12 Taking the utensils of the sanctuary service, they shall wrap them all in violet cloth and cover them with tahash skin. They shall then place them on a litter.	12 Tutti i vasi che servono al santuario, li copriranno con una tenda di iacinto, e stenderannosopra un velo di pelli violette, e vi accomoderanno le stanghe.
13 After cleansing the altar of its ashes, they shall spread a purple cloth over it.	13 L'altare eziandio degli olocausti ripulito dalle ceneri lo involgeranno in una coperta diporpora,
14 On this they shall put all the utensils with which it is served: the fire pans, forks, shovels, basins, and all the utensils of the altar. They shall then spread a covering of tahash skin over this, and put the poles in place.	14 Posti sopra di essi tutti gli arnesi, che servono per esso; vale a dire i bracieri, iforconi, i tridenti, gli uncini, le padelle, gli arnesi dell'altare li copriranno tuttiinsieme col velo di pelli violette, e porranno (ogni cosa) sopra le stanghe.
15 "Only after Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sacred objects and all their utensils on breaking camp, shall the Kohathites enter to carry them. But they shall not touch the sacred objects; if they do they will die. These, then, are the objects in the meeting tent that the Kohathites shall carry.	15 E quando Aronne, e i figliuoli di lui avranno involto tutte le parti del santuario, e tuttii suoi vasi nel muoversi il campo, allora verranno i figliuoli di Caath a prenderegl'involti: e non toccheranno i vasi del santuario, altrimenti sarebbero messi a morte.Questa è incumbenza dei figliuoli di Caath nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza:
16 "Eleazar, son of Aaron the priest, shall be in charge of the oil for the light, the fragrant incense, the established cereal offering, and the anointing oil. He shall be in charge of the whole Dwelling with all the sacred objects and utensils that are in it."	16 Il loro capo sarà Eleazaro, figliuolo di Aronne sommo sacerdote, e a lui si apparterràl'aver cura dell'olio per preparare le lucerne, e dei profumi di composizione, e delsacrifizio perpetuo, e dell'olio di unzione, e di tutto quello che riguarda il culto deltabernacolo, e di tutti i vasi, che sono nel santuario.
17 The LORD said to Moses and Aaron:	17 E il Signore parlò a Mosè ed Aronne, e disse:
18 "Do not let the group of Kohathite clans perish from the body of the Levites.	18 Badate, che la stirpe di Caath non abbia ad essere sterminata di mezzo a' Leviti:
19 That they may live and not die when they approach the most sacred objects, this is what you shall do for them: Aaron and his sons shall go in and assign to each of them his task and what he must carry;	19 Ma affinché eglino non periscano, ove vengano a toccare le cose sante, fate così: Aronne, ei suoi figliuoli entrino (nel santuario), ed ei preparino a ciascheduno il loro incarico, espartiscano quello che gli altri debbono portare.
20 but the Kohathites shall not go in to look upon the sacred objects, even for an instant; if they do, they will die."	20 Gli altri non si lascin portare dalla curiosità a mirare le cose, che sono nel santuario,prima che sieno involte, altrimenti periranno.
21 The LORD said to Moses,	21 E il Signore parlò a Mosè, e disse:
22 "Take a total among the Gershonites also, by ancestral houses and clans,	22 Conta anche il numero dei figliuoli di Gerson secondo la loro genealogia, e famiglia, e casa
23 of all the men between thirty and fifty years of age; these are to undertake obligatory tasks in the meeting tent.	23 Dai trent'anni in poi fino a' cinquanta. Conta tutti quelli che entrano a servire neltabernacolo dell'alleanza.
24 This is the task of the clans of the Gershonites, what they must do and what they must carry:	24 L'ufficio della famiglia de' Gersoniti è questo:
25 they shall carry the sheets of the Dwelling, the meeting tent with its covering and the outer wrapping of tahash skin, the curtain at the entrance of the meeting tent,	25 Ei porteranno i veli del tabernacolo, e le coperte dello stesso tabernacolo, e la secondacoperta, e il velame di pelli violette, che sta di sopra, e la tenda, che pende all'ingressodel tabernacolo dell'alleanza,
26 the hangings of the court, the curtain at the entrance of the court that encloses both the Dwelling and the altar, together with their ropes and all other objects necessary in their use. Whatever is to be done with these things shall be their task.	26 Le cortine dell'atrio, e il velo dell'ingresso dinanzi al tabernacolo. Tutte le cose chespettano all'altare, le funi, e i vasi del ministero,
27 The service of the Gershonites shall be entirely under the direction of Aaron and his sons, with regard to what they must do and what they must carry; you shall make each man of them responsible for what he is to carry.	27 Li porteranno i figliuoli di Gerson secondo gli ordini che avranno da Aronne, e daifigliuoli di lui, e ad ognun di loro sarà noto il servigio che dee prestare.
28 This, then, is the task of the Gershonites in the meeting tent; and they shall be under the supervision of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest.	28 Queste sono le incumbenze della famiglia de' Gersoniti nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza: essidipenderanno da Ithamar figliuolo di Aronne sommo sacerdote.
29 "Among the Merarites, too, you shall enroll by clans and ancestral houses	29 Farai anche il novero de' figliuoli di Merari secondo le famiglie, e le case dei padri loro.
30 all their men between thirty and fifty years of age; these are to undertake obligatory tasks in the meeting tent.	30 Da trent'anni in su fino a' cinquanta conterai tutti quelli che entrano ad adempierel'obbligo del lor ministero, e a servire al tabernacolo dell'alleanza.
31 This is what they shall be responsible for carrying, all the years of their service in the meeting tent: the boards of the Dwelling with its bars, columns and pedestals,	31 La loro incumbenza è questa: Porteranno le tavole del tabernacolo e le sue travi, lecolonne, e le loro basi,
32 and the columns of the surrounding court with their pedestals, pegs and ropes. You shall designate for each man of them all the objects connected with his service, which he shall be responsible for carrying.	32 Ed anche le colonne, che sono intorno all'atrio colle loro basi, e i chiodi, e le funi.Riceveranno in consegna tutti i vasi, e robe contate, e poi le porteranno.
33 This, then, is the task of the clans of the Merarites during all their service in the meeting tent under the supervision of Ithamar, son of Aaron the priest."	33 Questa è rincumbenza della famiglia de' Merariti, e il ministero loro nel tabernacolodell'alleanza: e saranno subordinati a Ithamar, figliuolo del sommo sacerdote Aronne.
34 So Moses and Aaron and the princes of the community made a registration among the Kohathites, by clans and ancestral houses,	34 Mosè adunque e Aronne, e i principi della sinagoga fecero il novero de' figliuoli di Caath,secondo le famiglie, e le case de' padri loro,
35 of all the men between thirty and fifty years of age. These were to undertake obligatory tasks in the meeting tent;	35 Da' trent'anni in su fino a' cinquanta contarono tutti quelli che entrano nel ministero deltabernacolo dell'alleanza:
36 as registered by clans, they numbered two thousand seven hundred and fifty.	36 E si trovarono due mila settecento cinquanta.
37 Such was the census of all the men of the Kohathite clans who were to serve in the meeting tent, which Moses took, together with Aaron, as the LORD bade him.	37 Questo è il numero di quelli della stirpe di Caath, che entrano nel tabernacolodell'alleanza: questi furono contati da Mosè, e da Aronne secondo l'ordine dato dal Signoreper mezzo di Mosè.
38 The registration was then made among the Gershonites, by clans and ancestral houses,	38 Furon similmente contati i figliuoli di Gerson secondo le famiglie, e le case dei padriloro,
39 of all the men between thirty and fifty years of age. These were to undertake obligatory tasks in the meeting tent;	39 Da' trent'anni in su fino a' cinquanta furon contati tutti quelli che entrano a servire neltabernacolo dell'alleanza:
40 as registered by clans and ancestral houses, they numbered two thousand six hundred and thirty.	40 E se ne trovarono due mila secento trenta.
41 Such was the census of all the men of the Gershonite clans who were to serve in the meeting tent, which Moses took, together with Aaron, at the LORD'S bidding.	41 Questa è la somma dei Gersoniti contati da Mosè e da Aronne secondo l'ordine del Signore.
42 Then the registration was made among the Merarites, by clans and ancestral houses,	42 Furono eziandio contati i figliuoli di Merari secondo le famiglie, e le case de' padri loro,
43 of all the men from thirty up to fifty years of age. These were to undertake obligatory tasks in the meeting tent;	43 Da' trent'anni in poi fino a cinquanta furon contati tutti quelli che entrano ad eseguire leloro incumbenze nel tabernacolo dell'alleanza;
44 as registered by clans, they numbered three thousand two hundred.	44 E si trovarono tre mila dugento:
45 Such was the census of the men of the Merarite clans which Moses took, together with Aaron, as the LORD bade him.	45 Questo è il numero dei figliuoli di Merari, che furon noverati da Mosè e da Aronne, secondol'ordine dato da Dio per mezzo di Mosè.
46 Therefore, when Moses and Aaron and the Israelites princes had completed the registration among the Levites, by clans and ancestral houses,	46 Tutti i Leviti, i quali da Mosè e Aronne, e da' principi d'Israele furon contati, e fattiregistrare pe' loro nomi, secondo le famiglie, e le case de' padri loro,
47 of all the men between thirty and fifty years of age who were to undertake tasks of service or transport of the meeting tent,	47 Da' trent'anni in su fino a' cinquanta, i quali entravano a servire nel tabernacolo, e aportare i pesi,
48 the total number registered was eight thousand five hundred and eighty.	48 Furono la somma di otto mila cinquecento ottanta.
49 According to the LORD'S bidding to Moses, they gave them their individual assignments for service and for transport; so the LORD had commanded Moses.	49 Mosè ne fece il novero secondo l'ordine del Signore, assegnata a ciascheduno la suaincumbenza, e il suo peso, conforme aveva a lui comandato il Signore.
