Hosea 3

NEW AMERICAN BIBLE	JERUSALEM
1 The number of the Israelites shall be like the sand of the sea, which can be neither measured nor counted. Whereas they were called, "Lo-ammi," They shall be called, "Children of the living God."	1 Yahvé me dit: "Va de nouveau, aime une femme qui en aime un autre et commet l'adultère, commeYahvé aime les enfants d'Israël, alors qu'ils se tournent vers d'autres dieux et qu'ils aiment les gâteaux de raisin."
2 Then the people of Judah and of Israel shall be gathered together; They shall appoint for themselves one head and come up from other lands, for great shall be the day of Jezreel.	2 Je l'achetai donc pour quinze sicles d'argent et un muid et demi d'orge,
3 Say to your brothers, "Ammi," and to your sisters, "Ruhama."	3 et je lui dis: "Pendant de longs jours tu me resteras là, sans te prostituer et sans appartenir à un homme,et j'agirai de même à ton égard."
4 For the people of Israel shall remain many days without king or prince, Without sacrifice or sacred pillar, without ephod or household idols.	4 Car, pendant de longs jours les enfants d'Israël resteront sans roi et sans chef, sans sacrifice et sansstèle, sans éphod et sans téraphim.
5 Then the people of Israel shall turn back and seek the LORD, their God, and David, their king; They shall come trembling to the LORD and to his bounty, in the last days.	5 Ensuite les enfants d'Israël reviendront; ils chercheront Yahvé leur Dieu, et David leur roi; ilsaccourront en tremblant vers Yahvé et vers ses biens, dans la suite des jours.
