Jeremiah 35

NEW AMERICAN BIBLE	SMITH VAN DYKE
1 This word came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim, son of Josiah, king of Judah:	1 الكلمة التي صارت الى ارميا من قبل الرب في ايام يهوياقيم بن يوشيا ملك يهوذا قائلة.
2 Approach the Rechabites and speak to them; bring them into the house of the LORD, to one of the rooms, and give them wine to drink.	2 اذهب الى بيت الركابيين وكلمهم وادخل بهم الى بيت الرب الى احد المخادع واسقهم خمرا.
3 So I went and brought Jaazaniah, son of Jeremiah, son of Habazziniah, his brothers and all his sons, the whole company of the Rechabites,	3 فأخذت يازنيا بن ارميا بن حبصينيا واخوته وكل بنيه وكل بيت الركابيين
4 into the house of the LORD, to the room of the sons of Hanan, son of Igdaliah, the man of God, next to the princes' room, above the room of Maaseiah, son of Shallum, keeper of the doorway.	4 ودخلت بهم الى بيت الرب الى مخدع بني حانان بن يجدليا رجل الله الذي بجانب مخدع الرؤساء الذي فوق مخدع معسيا بن شلوم حارس الباب.
5 I set before these Rechabite men bowls full of wine and offered them cups to drink the wine.	5 وجعلت امام بني الركابيين طاسات ملآنة خمرا واقداحا وقلت لهم اشربوا خمرا.
6 "We do not drink wine," they said to me: "Jonadab, Rechab's son, our father, forbade us in these words: 'Neither you nor your children shall ever drink wine.	6 فقالوا لا نشرب خمرا لان يوناداب بن ركاب ابانا اوصانا قائلا لا تشربوا خمرا انتم ولا بنوكم الى الابد
7 Build no house and sow no seed; neither plant nor own a vineyard. You shall dwell in tents all your life, so that you may live long on the earth where you are wayfarers.'	7 ولا تبنوا بيتا ولا تزرعوا زرعا ولا تغرسوا كرما ولا تكن لكم بل اسكنوا في الخيام كل ايامكم لكي تحيوا اياما كثيرة على وجه الارض التي انتم متغربون فيها.
8 Now we have heeded Jonadab, Rechab's son, our father, in all his prohibitions. All our lives we have not drunk wine, neither we, nor our wives, nor our sons, nor our daughters.	8 فسمعنا لصوت يوناداب بن ركاب ابينا في كل ما اوصانا به ان لا نشرب خمرا كل ايامنا نحن ونساؤنا وبنونا وبناتنا
9 We build no houses to live in; we own no vineyards or fields or crops,	9 وان لا نبني بيوتا لسكنانا وان لا يكون لنا كرم ولا حقل ولا زرع
10 and we live in tents; we obediently do everything our father Jonadab commanded us.	10 فسكنا في الخيام وسمعنا وعملنا حسب كل ما اوصانا به يوناداب ابونا.
11 But when Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, invaded this land, we decided to come into Jerusalem to escape the army of the Chaldeans and the army of Aram; that is why we are now living in Jerusalem."	11 ولكن كان لما صعد نبوخذراصر ملك بابل الى الارض اننا قلنا هلم فندخل الى اورشليم من وجه جيش الكلدانيين ومن وجه جيش الاراميين. فسكنا في اورشليم
12 Then this word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:	12 ثم صارت كلمة الرب الى ارميا قائلة
13 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Go, say to the men of Judah and to the citizens of Jerusalem: Will you not take correction and obey my words? says the LORD.	13 هكذا قال رب الجنود اله اسرائيل. اذهب وقل لرجال يهوذا وسكان اورشليم. أما تقبلون تأديبا لتسمعوا كلامي يقول الرب.
14 The advice of Jonadab, Rechab's son, by which he forbade his children to drink wine, has been followed: to this day they have not drunk it; they obeyed their father's command. Me, however, you have not obeyed, although I spoke to you untiringly and insistently.	14 قد اقيم كلام يوناداب بن ركاب الذي اوصى بنيه ان لا يشربوا خمرا فلم يشربوا الى هذا اليوم لانهم سمعوا وصية ابيهم. وانا قد كلمتكم مبكرا ومكلما ولم تسمعوا لي.
15 I kept sending you all my servants the prophets, telling you to turn back, all of you, from your evil way; to reform your conduct, and not follow strange gods or serve them, if you would remain on the land which I gave you and your fathers; but you did not heed me or obey me.	15 وقد ارسلت اليكم كل عبيدي الانبياء مبكرا ومرسلا قائلا ارجعوا كل واحد عن طريقه الرديئة واصلحوا اعمالكم ولا تذهبوا وراء آلهة اخرى لتعبدوها فتسكنوا في الارض التي اعطيتكم وآبائكم. فلم تميلوا اذنكم ولا سمعتم لي.
16 Yes, the children of Jonadab, Rechab's son, observed the command which their father laid on them; but this people does not obey me!	16 لان بني يوناداب بن ركاب قد اقاموا وصية ابيهم التي اوصاهم بها. اما هذا الشعب فلم يسمع لي.
17 Now, therefore, says the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel: I will bring upon Judah and all the citizens of Jerusalem every evil that I threatened; because when I spoke they did not obey, when I called they did not answer.	17 لذلك هكذا قال الرب اله الجنود اله اسرائيل. هانذا اجلب على يهوذا وعلى كل سكان اورشليم كل الشر الذي تكلمت به عليهم لاني كلمتهم فلم يسمعوا ودعوتهم فلم يجيبوا
18 But to the company of the Rechabites Jeremiah said: Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Since you have obeyed the command of Jonadab, your father, kept all his commands and done everything he commanded you,	18 وقال ارميا لبيت الركابيين هكذا قال رب الجنود اله اسرائيل. من اجل انكم سمعتم لوصية يوناداب ابيكم وحفظتم كل وصاياه وعملتم حسب كل ما اوصاكم به
19 thus therefore says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Never shall there fail to be a descendant of Jonadab, Rechab's son, standing in my service.	19 لذلك هكذا قال رب الجنود اله اسرائيل. لا ينقطع ليوناداب بن ركاب انسان يقف امامي كل الايام
