Isaiah 61

1 The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me; He has sent me to bring glad tidings to the lowly, to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives and release to the prisoners,	1 El espíritu del Señor está sobre mí, porque el Señor me ha ungido. El me envió a llevar la buena noticia a los pobres, a vender los corazones heridos, a proclamar la liberación a los cautivos y la libertad a los prisioneros,
2 To announce a year of favor from the LORD and a day of vindication by our God, to comfort all who mourn;	2 a proclamar un año de gracia del Señor, un día de venganza para nuestro Dios; a consolar a todos los que están de duelo
3 To place on those who mourn in Zion a diadem instead of ashes, To give them oil of gladness in place of mourning, a glorious mantle instead of a listless spirit. They will be called oaks of justice, planted by the LORD to show his glory.	3 a cambiar su ceniza por una corona, su ropa de luto por el óleo de la alegría, y su abatimiento por un canto de alabanza. 4 They shall rebuild the ancient ruins, the former wastes they shall raise up And restore the ruined cities, desolate now for generations.	4 Ellos reconstruirán las ruinas antiguas, restaurarán los escombros del pasado, renovarán las ciudades en ruinas, los escombros de muchas generaciones.
5 Strangers shall stand ready to pasture your flocks, foreigners shall be your farmers and vinedressers.	5 Se presentarán extranjeros para apacentar sus rebaños, hijos de forasteros serán sus labradores y viñadores.
6 You yourselves shall be named priests of the LORD, ministers of our God you shall be called. You shall eat the wealth of the nations and boast of riches from them.	6 Y ustedes serán llamados «Sacerdotes del Señor». se les dirá «Ministros de nuestro Dios». Se alimentarán con las riquezas de las naciones, se enorgullecerán con su magnificencia.
7 Since their shame was double and disgrace and spittle were their portion, They shall have a double inheritance in their land, everlasting joy shall be theirs.	7 Ya que su ignominia fue el doble de la cuenta y recibieron como parte vergüenza e insultos, ellos poseerán el doble en su tierra y gozarán de una alegría eterna.
8 For I, the LORD, love what is right, I hate robbery and injustice; I will give them their recompense faithfully, a lasting covenant I will make with them.	8 Porque yo, el Señor, amo el derecho y odio lo que se arrebata injustamente; les retribuiré con fidelidad y estableceré en favor de ellos una alianza eterna.
9 Their descendants shall be renowned among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples; All who see them shall acknowledge them as a race the LORD has blessed.	9 Su descendencia será conocida entre las naciones, y sus vástagos, en medio de los pueblos: todos los que los vean, reconocerán que son la estirpe bendecida por el Señor.
10 I rejoice heartily in the LORD, in my God is the joy of my soul; For he has clothed me with a robe of salvation, and wrapped me in a mantle of justice, Like a bridegroom adorned with a diadem, like a bride bedecked with her jewels.	10 Yo desbordo de alegría en el Señor, mi alma se regocija en mi Dios. Porque él me vistió con las vestiduras de la salvación y me envolvió con el manto de la justicia, como un esposo que se ajusta la diadema y como una esposa que se adorna con sus joyas.
11 As the earth brings forth its plants, and a garden makes its growth spring up, So will the Lord GOD make justice and praise spring up before all the nations.	11 Porque así como la tierra da sus brotes y un jardín hace germinar lo sembrado, así el Señor hará germinar la justicia y la alabanza ante todas las naciones.
