7 Then shall he answer in that day: "I will not undertake to cure this, when in my own house there is no bread or clothing! You shall not make me ruler of the people."	7 Ten zaś się podniesie owego dnia mówiąc: Nie jestem lekarzem. W mym domu nie ma chleba ni szaty. Nie czyńcie mnie wodzem ludu!
8 Jerusalem is crumbling, Judah is falling; for their speech and their deeds are before the LORD, a provocation in the sight of his majesty.	8 Zaiste Jeruzalem upada i Juda się wali, bo przeciw Panu są ich słowa i czyny, by oczy Jego chwały obrażać.
9 Their very look bears witness against them; their sin like Sodom they vaunt, They hide it not. Woe to them! they deal out evil to themselves.	9 Stronniczość ich świadczy przeciw nim, jak Sodoma ogłaszają swój grzech, nie ukrywają [go]. Biada im, bo sami sobie gotują nieszczęście.
10 Happy the just, for it will be well with them, the fruit of their works they will eat.	10 Szczęśliwy sprawiedliwy, bo pozyska dobro; zażywać będzie owocu swych czynów.
11 Woe to the wicked man! All goes ill, with the work of his hands he will be repaid.	11 Biada złemu, bo odbierze zło; bo według czynów jego rąk mu odpłacą.
12 My people--a babe in arms will be their tyrant, and women will rule them! O my people, your leaders mislead, they destroy the paths you should follow.	12 Ach, mój lud! Młokos go ciemięży i kobiety nim rządzą. Ludu mój! Przywódcy twoi cię zwodzą, i burzą drogę, którą kroczysz,
13 The LORD rises to accuse, standing to try his people.	13 Pan powstał, by wszcząć rozprawę, stoi, by toczyć spór ze swoim ludem.
14 The Lord enters into judgment with his people's elders and princes: It is you who have devoured the vineyard; the loot wrested from the poor is in your houses.	14 Pan wchodzi na rozprawę ze starszymi swego ludu i z jego książętami: To wyście spustoszyli winnicę, coście biednemu zrabowali, jest w waszych domach.
15 What do you mean by crushing my people, and grinding down the poor when they look to you? says the Lord, the GOD of hosts.	15 Jakim prawem uciskacie mój lud i przygnębiacie oblicza ubogich? Wyrocznia Pana, Boga Zastępów.

21 the signet rings, and the nose rings;	21 pierścionki i kółka do nosa,
22 the court dresses, wraps, cloaks, and purses;	22 drogie suknie, narzutki i szale, torebki
23 the mirrors, linen tunics, turbans, and shawls.	23 i zwierciadełka, cienką bieliznę, zawoje i letnie sukienki.
24 Instead of perfume there will be stench, instead of the girdle, a rope, And for the coiffure, baldness; for the rich gown, a sackcloth skirt. Then, instead of beauty:	24 I będzie: zamiast wonności - zaduch, zamiast paska - powróz, miast uczesanych kędziorów - łysina, miast wykwintnej szaty - ciasny wór, zamiast krasy - wypalone piętno.
25 Your men will fall by the sword, and your champions, in war;	25 Twoi ludzie polegną od miecza i twoi rycerze na wojnie.
