40 was assigned Hebron with its adjacent pasture lands in the land of Judah,	40 Dederunt igitur eis Hebron in terra Iudae et suburbana eius per circuitum;

45 Also from the tribe of Benjamin: Gibeon with its pasture lands, Geba with its pasture lands, Almon with its pasture lands, Anathoth with its pasture lands. 46 The other Kohathites obtained ten cities by lot for their clans from the tribe of Ephraim, from the tribe of Dan, and from the half-tribe of Manasseh.	46 Filiis autem Caath residuis de cognatione sua dederunt ex tribu Ephraim et ex tribu Dan et ex dimidia tribu Manasse in possessionem urbes decem.
47 The clans of the Gershonites obtained thirteen cities from the tribes of Issachar, Asher, and Naphtali, and from the half-tribe of Manasseh in Bashan.	47 Porro filiis Gerson per cognationes suas de tribu Issachar et de tribu Aser et de tribu Nephthali et de tribu Manasse in Basan urbes tredecim.
48 The clans of the Merarites obtained twelve cities by lot from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.	48 Filiis autem Merari per cognationes suas de tribu Ruben et de tribu Gad et de tribu Zabulon dederunt sorte civitates duodecim.
49 The Israelites assigned these cities with their pasture lands to the Levites,	49 Dederunt quoque filii Israel Levitis civitates et suburbana earum;
50 designating them by name and assigning them by lot from the tribes of the Judahites, Simeonites, and Benjaminites.	50 dederuntque per sortem ex tribu filiorum Iudae et ex tribu filiorum Simeon et ex tribu filiorum Beniamin urbes has, quas vocaverunt nominibus suis.
51 The clans of the Kohathites obtained cities by lot from the tribe of Ephraim.	51 Et his, qui erant ex cognationibus filiorum Caath, fuerunt civitates in terminis eorum de tribu Ephraim.
52 They were assigned: Shechem in the mountain region of Ephraim, a city of asylum, with its pasture lands, Gezer with its pasture lands,	52 Dederunt ergo eis urbem ad confugiendum: Sichem cum suburbanis suis in monte Ephraim et Gazer cum suburbanis suis,
53 Kibzaim with its pasture lands, and Beth-horon with its pasture lands.	53 Iecmaam quoque cum suburbanis suis et Bethoron similiter;
54 From the tribe of Dan: Elteke with its pasture lands, Gibbethon with its pasture lands, Aijalon with its pasture lands, and Gath-rimmon with its pasture lands.	54 necnon et Aialon cum suburbanis suis et Gethremmon in eundem modum.
55 From the half-tribe of Manasseh: Taanach with its pasture lands and Ibleam with its pasture lands. These belonged to the rest of the Kohathite clan.	55 Porro ex dimidia tribu Manasse Thanach et suburbana eius, Ieblaam et suburbana eius, his videlicet qui de cognationibus filiorum Caath reliqui erant.
56 The clans of the Gershonites received from the half-tribe of Manasseh: Golan in Bashan with its pasture lands and Ashtaroth with its pasture lands.	56 Filiis autem Gerson de cognationibus dimidiae tribus Manasse: Golan in Basan et suburbana eius et Astharoth cum suburbanis suis.

62 The rest of the Merarites received from the tribe of Zebulun: Jokneam with its pasture lands, Kartah with its pasture lands, Rimmon with its pasture lands, and Tabor with its pasture lands.	62 Filiis autem Merari residuis de tribu Zabulon: Remmon et suburbana eius et Thabor cum suburbanis suis.
