Zechariah 2

KING JAMES BIBLE	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 I lifted up mine eyes again, and looked, and behold a man with a measuring line in his hand.	1 Yo levanté los ojos, y tuve una visión: Había cuatro cuernos.
2 Then said I, Whither goest thou? And he said unto me, To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.	2 Entonces pregunté al ángel que hablaba conmigo: «¿Qué son estos cuernos?». El me respondió: «Son los cuernos que dispersaron a Judá, a Israel y a Jerusalén».
3 And, behold, the angel that talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him,	3 Después el Señor me mostró cuatro herreros.
4 And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:	4 Yo pregunté: «¿Qué vienen a hacer estos?». El me respondió: «Aquellos son los cuernos que dispersaron a Judá, a tal punto que nadie podía levantar la cabeza; pero estos han venido para aterrarlos, para derribar los cuernos de las naciones que atacaron al país de Judá, a fin de dispersarlo».
5 For I, saith the LORD, will be unto her a wall of fire round about, and will be the glory in the midst of her.	5 Yo levanté los ojos, y tuve una visión: Había un hombre que tenía en la mano una cuerda de medir.
6 Ho, ho, come forth, and flee from the land of the north, saith the LORD: for I have spread you abroad as the four winds of the heaven, saith the LORD.	6 Entonces le pregunté: «¿A dónde vas?». El me respondió: «Voy a medir Jerusalén, para ver cuánto tiene de ancho y cuánto de largo».
7 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.	7 Mientras el ángel que hablaba conmigo estaba allí, otro ángel le salió a su encuentro
8 For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of his eye.	8 y le dijo: «Corre, habla a ese joven y dile: "Jerusalén será una ciudad abierta por la gran cantidad de hombres y animales que habrá en ella.
9 For, behold, I will shake mine hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me.	9 Yo seré para ella –oráculo del Señor– una muralla de fuego a su alrededor, y seré su Gloria en medio de ella"».
10 Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the LORD.	10 ¡Vamos! Huyan del país del Norte –oráculo del Señor– porque yo los dispersé a los cuatro vientos del cielo –oráculo del Señor–
11 And many nations shall be joined to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people: and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto thee.	11 ¡Vamos! ¡Sálvate, Sión, tú, que habitas en Babilonia!
12 And the LORD shall inherit Judah his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.	12 Porque así habla el Señor de los ejércitos a las naciones que los despojaron –ya que el que los toca a ustedes, toca la pupila de mis ojos–:
13 Be silent, O all flesh, before the LORD: for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.	13 ¡Sí, yo levanto mi mano contra ellos, y serán despojados por sus mis mismos esclavos! ¡Así ustedes sabrán que me ha enviado el Señor de los ejércitos!
	14 Grita de júbilo y alégrate, hija de Sión: porque yo vengo a habitar en medio de ti –oráculo del Señor–.
	15 Aquel día, muchas naciones se unirán al Señor: ellas serán un pueblo para él y habitarán en medio de ti. ¡Así sabrás que me ha enviado a ti el Señor de los ejércitos!
	16 El Señor tendrá a Judá como herencia, como su parte en la Tierra santa, y elegirá de nuevo a Jerusalén.
	17 ¡Que callen todos los hombres delante del Señor, porque él surge de su santa Morada!
