1 And the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel:	1 Si avvicinarono i capi delle case paterne, delle famiglie dei figli di Galaad, figlio di Machir, figlio di Manasse, delle famiglie dei figli di Giuseppe, e parlarono davanti a Mosè e davanti ai prìncipi, capi delle case dei figli d'Israele.
2 And they said, The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.	2 Dissero: "Il Signore ha ordinato al mio signore di dare la terra in eredità per sorte ai figli d'Israele, e il mio signore ha ricevuto ordine dal Signore di dare l'eredità di Zelofcad, nostro fratello, alle sue figlie.
3 And if they be married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the lot of our inheritance.	3 Se andranno spose a uno dei figli delle altre tribù dei figli d'Israele, la loro eredità sarà sottratta dall'eredità dei nostri padri e sarà aggiunta all'eredità della tribù nella quale saranno entrate, e quello che abbiamo ereditato per sorte ci sarà sottratto.
4 And when the jubile of the children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.	4 Quando ci sarà il giubileo per i figli d'Israele, la loro eredità sarà aggiunta all'eredità della tribù nella quale saranno entrate, e la loro eredità sarà sottratta dall'eredità della tribù dei nostri padri".
5 And Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath said well.	5 Mosè comunicò ai figli d'Israele quest'ordine ricevuto dal Signore: "I figli di Giuseppe parlano bene.
6 This is the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry.	6 Questo ha ordinato il Signore alle figlie di Zelofcad: "Esse saranno le mogli di chi va bene ai loro occhi: solo, saranno mogli nelle famiglie della tribù dei loro padri.
7 So shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe: for every one of the children of Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.	7 L'eredità dei figli d'Israele non girerà da tribù a tribù, perché tra i figli d'Israele ognuno sarà attaccato all'eredità della tribù dei suoi padri.
8 And every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers.	8 Ogni figlia che erediterà dalla tribù dei figli d'Israele sarà moglie in una delle famiglie della tribù di suo padre, in modo che ognuno dei figli d'Israele entri in possesso dell'eredità dei propri padri,
9 Neither shall the inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; but every one of the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep himself to his own inheritance.	9 e l'eredità non giri da tribù a tribù, perché le tribù dei figli d'Israele saranno attaccate, ognuna, alla propria eredità".
10 Even as the LORD commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad:	10 Le figlie di Zelofcad fecero come il Signore aveva ordinato a Mosè:
11 For Mahlal, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married unto their father's brothers' sons:	11 Macla, Tirza, Ogla, Milca, Noa, figlie di Zelofcad, sposarono i figli dei loro zii.
12 And they were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.	12 Si maritarono nelle famiglie dei figli di Manasse, figlio di Giuseppe, e la loro eredità fu della tribù della famiglia dei loro padri.
13 These are the commandments and the judgments, which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses unto the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.	13 Questi sono gli ordini e le disposizioni che il Signore diede per mezzo di Mosè ai figli d'Israele nella steppa di Moab, presso il Giordano di Gerico.
