Jeremiah 31

KING JAMES BIBLE	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.	1 En aquel tiempo –oráculo del Señor– yo seré el Dios de todas las familias de Israel y ellos serán mi Pueblo.
2 Thus saith the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.	2 Así habla el Señor: Halló gracia en el desierto el pueblo que escapó de la espada; Israel camina hacia su descanso.
3 The LORD hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee.	3 De lejos se le apareció el Señor: Yo te amé con un amor eterno, por eso te atraje con fidelidad.
4 Again I will build thee, and thou shalt be built, O virgin of Israel: thou shalt again be adorned with thy tabrets, and shalt go forth in the dances of them that make merry.	4 De nuevo te edificaré y serás reedificada, virgen de Israel; de nuevo te adornarás con tus tamboriles y saldrás danzando alegremente;
5 Thou shalt yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.	5 de nuevo plantarás viñas sobre los montes de Samaría: los que las planten tendrán los primeros frutos.
6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.	6 Porque llega el día en que la los vigías gritarán sobre la montaña de Efraím: «¡De pie, subamos a Sión, hacia el Señor, nuestro Dios!».
7 For thus saith the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish ye, praise ye, and say, O LORD, save thy people, the remnant of Israel.	7 Porque así habla el Señor: ¡Griten jubilosos por Jacob, aclamen a la primera de las naciones! Háganse oír, alaben y digan: «¡El Señor ha salvado a su pueblo, al resto de Israel!».
8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither.	8 Yo los hago venir del país del Norte y los reúno desde los extremos de la tierra; hay entre ellos ciegos y lisiados, mujeres embarazadas y parturientas: ¡es una gran asamblea la que vuelve aquí!
9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.	9 Habían partido llorando, pero yo los traigo llenos de consuelo; los conduciré a los torrentes de agua por un camino llano, donde ellos no tropezarán. Porque yo soy un padre para Israel y Efraím es mi primogénito.
10 Hear the word of the LORD, O ye nations, and declare it in the isles afar off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd doth his flock.	10 ¡Escuchen, naciones, la palabra del Señor, anúncienla en las costas más lejanas! Digan: «El que dispersó a Israel lo reunirá, y lo cuidará como un pastor a su rebaño».
11 For the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.	11 Porque el Señor ha rescatado a Jacob, lo redimió de una mano más fuerte que él.
12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.	12 Llegarán gritando de alegría a la altura de Sión, afluirán hacia los bienes del Señor, hacia el trigo, el vino nuevo y el aceite, hacia las crías de ovejas y de vacas. Sus almas serán como un jardín bien regado y no volverán a desfallecer.
13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.	13 Entonces la joven danzará alegremente, los jóvenes y los viejos se regocijarán; yo cambiaré su duelo en alegría, los alegraré y los consolaré de su aflicción.
14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.	14 Colmaré a los sacerdotes con la grasa de las víctimas, y mi pueblo se saciará de mis bienes –oráculo del Señor–.
15 Thus saith the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.	15 Así habla el Señor: ¡Escuchen! En Ramá se oyen lamentos, llantos de amargura: es Raquel que llora a sus hijos; ella no quiere ser consolada, porque ya no existen.
16 Thus saith the LORD; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.	16 Así habla el Señor: Reprime tus sollozos, ahoga tus lágrimas, porque tu obra recibirá su recompensa –oráculo del Señor– y ellos volverán del país enemigo.
17 And there is hope in thine end, saith the LORD, that thy children shall come again to their own border.	17 Sí, hay esperanza para tu futuro –oráculo del Señor–: los hijos regresarán a su patria.
18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke: turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.	18 Oigo muy bien a Efraím que se estremece de pesar: «Me has corregido, y yo acepté la corrección como un ternero no domado. Conviérteme y yo me convertiré, porque tú, Señor, eres mi Dios.
19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I smote upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.	19 Sí, después de apartarme, me arrepentí, y al darme cuenta, me he golpeado el pecho. Estoy avergonzado y confundido, porque cargo con el oprobio de mi juventud».
20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spake against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, saith the LORD.	20 ¿Es para mí Efraím un hijo querido o un niño mimado, para que cada vez que hablo de él, todavía lo recuerde vivamente? Por eso mis entrañas se estremecen por él, no puedo menos que compadecerme de él –oráculo del Señor–.
21 Set thee up waymarks, make thee high heaps: set thine heart toward the highway, even the way which thou wentest: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these thy cities.	21 Levanta para ti mojones, colócate señales, fíjate bien en el sendero, en el camino que has recorrido. ¡Vuelve, virgen de Israel, vuelve a estas tus ciudades!
22 How long wilt thou go about, O thou backsliding daughter? for the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.	22 ¿Hasta cuándo irás de aquí para allá, hija apóstata? Porque el Señor crea algo nuevo en el país: la mujer rodea al varón.
23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless thee, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.	23 Así habla el Señor de los ejércitos, el Dios de Israel: De nuevo se dirá esta palabra en el país de Judá y en sus ciudades, cuando yo haya cambiado su suerte: ¡Que el Señor te bendiga, morada de justicia, Montaña santa!
24 And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.	24 Allí se establecerán Judá y todas sus ciudades, los agricultores y los que se desplazan con los rebaños.
25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.	25 Porque yo abrevaré a los que están agotados y colmaré a los que están exhaustos.
26 Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.	26 De pronto me desperté y abrí los ojos, y mi sueño había sido agradable.
27 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.	27 Llegarán los días –oráculo del Señor– en que yo sembraré la casa de Israel y la casa de Judá con semilla de hombres y semilla de animales.
28 And it shall come to pass, that like as I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, saith the LORD.	28 Y así como yo he velado sobre ellos para arrancar y derribar, para demoler, perder y hacer el mal, así también velaré sobre ellos para edificar y para plantar –oráculo del Señor–.
29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.	29 En aquellos días, no se dirá más: Los padres comieron uva verde y los hijos sufren la dentera.
30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eateth the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.	30 No, cada uno morirá por su propia iniquidad: todo el que coma uva verde sufrirá la dentera.
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:	31 Llegarán los días –oráculo del Señor– en que estableceré una nueva Alianza con la casa de Israel y la casa de Judá.
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:	32 No será como la Alianza que establecí con sus padres el día en que los tomé de la mano para hacerlos salir del país de Egipto, mi Alianza que ellos rompieron, aunque yo era su dueño –oráculo del Señor–.
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.	33 Esta es la Alianza que estableceré con la casa de Israel, después de aquellos días –oráculo del Señor–: pondré mi Ley dentro de ellos, y la escribiré en sus corazones; yo seré su Dios y ellos serán mi Pueblo.
34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD; for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.	34 Y ya no tendrán que enseñarse mutuamente, diciéndose el uno al otro: «Conozcan al Señor». Porque todos me conocerán, del más pequeño al más grande –oráculo del Señor–. Porque yo habré perdonado su iniquidad y no me acordaré más de su pecado.
35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:	35 Así habla el Señor, el que puso el sol para alumbrar el día, la luna y las estrellas para iluminar la noche, el que agita el mar y rugen sus olas; su nombre es Señor de los ejércitos:
36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.	36 Si este ordenamiento dejara de regir delante de mi –oráculo del Señor– entonces, también la descendencia de Israel dejaría de ser para siempre una nación delante de mí.
37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD.	37 Así habla el Señor: Si se pudieran medir los cielos en lo alto y explorar aquí abajo los cimientos de la tierra, también yo rechazaría a la descendencia de Israel a causa de todo lo que hicieron –oráculo del Señor–.
38 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.	38 Llegarán los días –oráculo del Señor– en que la ciudad será reconstruida para el Señor, desde la torre de Jananel hasta la puerta del Angulo.
39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth over against it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.	39 La cuerda de medir se extenderá en línea recta hasta la colina de Gareb, y luego girará hacia Goa.
40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.	40 Todo el valle de los cadáveres y de la ceniza de los sacrificios, y todos los campos hasta el torrente Cedrón, hasta el ángulo de la puerta de los Caballos, al oriente, estarán consagrados al Señor: ¡nunca más se arrancará, nunca más se demolerá!
